With a rush of excitement, Su Wenyan forcefully pressed the green button.
In the next moment, the entire production workshop was filled with a rumbling sound.
Under the watchful eyes of Mo Jingchun and his companions, the mechanical arms began performing various self-check actions.
Within a brief five seconds, all the industrial robots came to a stop again.
Soon after, equipment from the furthest feeding area began to operate.
A single screw, from raw material to production molding, kept Mo Jingchun waiting for over ten minutes.
Holding the still warm screw, Mo Jingchun glanced at it and returned it to Zero.
"Check again if it meets the requirements once it cools down," he said.
Zero casually placed the screw back on the production line; in this fully automated production workshop, as long as the machines don’t have problems, they would eventually assemble a complete rocket.
"Boss, I debugged the equipment, you can rest assured."
"It’s estimated that in ten days, our first space rocket ship can be produced."
"Even if there’s an issue, at our workshop’s production speed, we could just wait another ten days to produce a second one."
Hearing this, Mo Jingchun glanced at the smug Zero.
"How about zipping your jinxing mouth, and let’s hope the rocket launches smoothly."
"I’m just talking about the ’in case’ scenario."
Looking at the normally operating automated production workshop, Mo Jingchun spoke, "Inform me once the rocket is finished, so I can confirm the launch time."
Mo Jingchun didn’t linger in the base any longer; he had brought everyone needed for Su Wenyan, and now he just needed to wait for good news.
Unlike on the way there, the return trip only had Mo Jingchun and his bodyguard.
The journey went smoothly, and Mo Jingchun was back at the park by just after four in the afternoon.
Upon entering the office, Mo Jingchun immediately sensed a wave of resentment.
A surging wave of resentment.
Looking at her brother, Zhou Yaling mechanically stamped on the signing place.
"Where’s Zero?"
Mo Jingchun turned his head and was surprised to find that Zero had disappeared at some point.
"What if I said I don’t know where Zero ran off to, would you believe it?"
"Ha, do you think I would believe that?"
Gritting her teeth, Zhou Yaling said, "I feel like my arm is about to break."
Looking at Zhou Yaling’s right hand, already completely dyed red, Mo Jingchun hesitated for a moment and asked, "How about I do it, and you take a break?"
"Been waiting for you to say that, brother."
Saying this, Zhou Yaling placed the personal seal on the document and vacated the boss’s office seat.
Seeing this, Mo Jingchun twitched at the corners of his mouth, but had nothing more to say.
After all, those polite words had just come out of his mouth.
Once said, they must be honored!
Stamping away, made Mo Jingchun feel like Zero had outwitted him.
Mo Jingchun seriously suspected that Zero hadn’t taken the elevator down with him earlier.
On the 6th floor, Zero, patrolling the office area, watched the scene unfold in the boss’s office through the camera and patted her chest in relief.
Zero just knew that after a day’s work, Zhou Yaling would be full of resentment.
This resentment needed to be vented.
Which brings up the question, who would be the first target of it?
So, Zero wisely chose to lay low.
Watching the boss stamp so handsomely, Zero silently gave him a score of 100 points.
"What a good person!"
In the evening, Candy returned from school and looked at her brother and sister’s hands as if she had discovered a new continent.
Carrying her backpack, Candy asked in amazement, "What did you guys do, brother and sister? Why are your hands so red?"
Still somewhat annoyed, Zhou Yaling turned her head, reluctant to speak.
Mo Jingchun gave an awkward smile and said, "It’s all because of work."
"As usual, you and Zero take this car, your sister and I will take the one in front."
As a joke, if Zhou Yaling and Zero sat in the same car, Mo Jingchun seriously suspected they could rip the car roof off.
No doubt, Zero truly had that capability.
Having experienced stamping papers himself, Mo Jingchun realized that it wasn’t an easy task.
During the next few days, Mo Jingchun caught Zero, and the three of them took turns stamping papers.
Even though it was exhausting, the efficiency went up.
The main thing was that Zhou Yaling didn’t seem to have as much resentment anymore.
After all, having someone else suffer alongside her made her feel less unbalanced.
As for Zero, she just found it a bit boring, not tiring at all.
Mid-December, Saturday.
Candy woke up early in the morning.
Standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, Candy looked at the snow-covered world outside with sparkling eyes.
"My brother didn’t lie; it really snowed."
Wearing a down jacket, Candy didn’t even worry about brushing her hair and pushed open her sister’s bedroom door.
Pulling the quilt over her sister’s head, Candy shouted, "Sister, wake up! It’s snowing heavily outside, big fluffy snowflakes."
"Sister, let’s build a snowman, or have a snowball fight."
"Stop it, let me sleep a bit more."
"Lazybones."
Pouting, Candy didn’t continue to uncover her sister’s quilt.
Whenever her sister didn’t want to get up, nothing, not even a robbery, could disturb her from sleeping in.
In the yard, Mo Jingchun was shoveling snow with a shovel.
Zero chased Little Grey, circling Mo Jingchun, making him dizzy.
Exhaling white breath, Mo Jingchun rubbed his reddened, cold hands and said helplessly:
"Can you two be quiet for a while?"
"The snow’s been compacted by your stomping."
Saying this, Mo Jingchun gave the tongue-lolling Little Grey a stern look.
"You’re nothing good either, acting timid only to boldly provoke Zero."
Just then, Candy came out of the house.
"Brother, are we building a snowman?"
Wearing slippers, Candy tiptoed on the snowy ground.
Raising an eyebrow, Mo Jingchun said, "Change your shoes before coming out, I won’t help if you fall."
"I won’t fall; I’m being careful."
As soon as she finished speaking, Candy plopped onto the floor.
It took a while before she felt the pain in her butt.
Suppressing her flushed face, tears welled up in her eyes, but remembering her recent words, Candy stubbornly held back from crying.
"Does it hurt?"
"No, it doesn’t."
"Really doesn’t hurt?" Clearly, Mo Jingchun wasn’t convinced.
The dull thud she made when falling couldn’t be painless.
After a while, with Zero’s mocking laughter, Candy cautiously got back up.
"Zero, could you give me a hand?"
"The floor is really slippery."
"Sure," Zero replied.
Seeing Zero standing steadily on the floor, Candy decisively went inside and changed into slip-proof shoes.
Putting on a hat and gloves, Candy marched out fully geared up.
However, when she stepped outside, she was shocked.
In the time it took her to change, her brother had cleaned the entire yard of snow!!!
Unbelievable!
"Why are you out here in the heavy snow?"
"Isn’t it more comfortable to stay indoors, enjoy the air conditioning, and watch cartoons?"
