Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP
Chapter 726: The Last Festival Before.... EternityThe moment Ash’s words ended, he took the time to return to Pantheos and gather all his companions together in preparation for one last show.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere within the Source of Expansion had grown unbearably tense.
Two weeks had officially passed since the announcement of the accelerated clock, and the leaders had spent every waking moment devising ways to weaken the Main Character’s faction — isolating his companions and sowing chaos however they could.
But now, as they gathered once more in the grand crystalline chamber, something was terribly wrong.
Dono Prime stood at the head of the five Leaders, his silver-white hair catching the light as his face remained grim.
The first words spoken in the heavy silence came from one of the Ancestors’ representatives.
"They’re gone," he said, voice low and dangerous. "Every last one of them. Vanished as if they had never walked these lands."
Tamaka the First’s draconic aura surged, violet-black energy crackling over her obsidian scales.
"Not even days after we started our preparations," she growled, her voice a deep, resonant rumble that made the crystalline floor tremble.
"Did they somehow discover our plans in advance?"
Lorz Origin’s six radiant wings shifted with unease, scattering shifting patterns of light across the walls.
"I’d assume so... this isn’t just any retreat—it feels far more tactical."
Kees of the Second Branch, her moonlit skin faintly aglow, spoke with quiet tension.
"Well... what happens now that the deadline’s here?"
Kor Eternal, the towering Storm Titan, clenched his massive fists as lightning danced across his dark blue skin.
"We fight... now that all our preparations are worthless. The only option left is to wipe them out!"
At his words, Kees sighed faintly looking at Dono.
"Any word from the Ancestors?"
The room went quiet once more, the weight of unanswered questions hanging heavy in the air.
Then the Oracle stepped in, her sharp, analytical features framed by a look of intense determination.
Right behind her came Alex Prime, Melissa, and Sammy, each of them wearing the tired, uneasy expressions of people who had seen too much in too little time.
Before anyone could gather their thoughts or open their mouth to speak, a burst of wild, mocking laughter rang out from somewhere high above, cutting through the silence like a blade.
-----
"HAHAHA!!!" the Clock roared with manic glee, "OH, PRIMEDIVA... THE TIME HAS COME. FOR THE LAST FESTIVAL!!!!"
The colossal, otherworldly timepiece looming above the Source of Expansion let out a wild, triumphant laugh that rattled the skies themselves.
Then, in an instant, it erupted with a violent burst, shattering into a blinding explosion of fractured moments and scattered time.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
The entire timeline of the Source shifted in an instant.
Everything was thrust forward — an entire cycle ahead.
Outside the chamber, the leaders and the younger generation could hear it: the distant, thunderous roar of festivities.
Music, cheers, and the chaotic energy of a grand celebration echoed through the air like the herald of their doom.
In that moment, they all instantly paled.
The Oracle stepped forward, her expression grave as she raised her hand.
"Reveal the status of the Source to me."
HUMMMMM!!!
A shimmering projection bloomed in the center of the chamber, revealing the Source from the outside.
The Festival of Ten Lucky Draws was in full, glorious swing.
Vast banners of Mira with her back turned fluttered proudly in the wind, her silhouette both alluring and ominous.
Posters of NovelGeek2 were plastered everywhere — some showing his signature smile, others depicting grand, fantastical scenes of conquest and glory.
The entire Source had transformed into a sprawling carnival of celebration: floating stages where performers reenacted legendary battles, massive screens displaying highlights from the novel, crowds of Primedivas and visitors cheering wildly under the red sky.
The leaders and their heirs stared in stunned silence, their faces drained of color.
"This... this is impossible," one of them whispered, voice trembling. "How...?"
The atmosphere in the chamber grew thick with fear and disbelief, the air itself seeming to grow heavier, as if the very foundations of their world were beginning to crumble.
They all glanced at one another, the younger faces drained of color, wide-eyed in shock.
"Did the timeline just... shift?" Alex’s voice wavered, cracking under the weight of disbelief.
"How can they mess with the entire source so easily... just like that?"
However, no one dared to respond, knowing that no matter how strong they were, time in the source was not something anyone would risk manipulating on such a grand scale.
The heavy silence closed in from every direction.
Then, the Oracle moved forward, her sharp features etched with grim resolve. She lifted her hand, her voice carrying an unshakable authority as she began to speak.
"Return the timeline to its original point."
For a moment, nothing happened.
"W..what?"
Then, the Oracle staggered, her hand dropping as a strange, unsettling sensation washed over her.
Her power was slipping away, ebbing like a receding tide.
It was as though something essential was being torn from deep within her, leaving an emptiness that grew with every passing moment.
The others could sense it as well, an unspoken tension settling over them as they realized the change.
Dono Prime’s eyes widened in horror as he felt the connection to the accumulated Main Character powers they had gathered over the years begin to vanish — slipping away like sand through their fingers.
Tamaka’s draconic aura wavered, her once formidable presence now fragile.
Lorz’s wings lost their glow, the light within them fading.
Kees and Kor stiffened, their faces twisting from confusion to mounting terror as the powers they had clung to for so long simply... vanished.
"Heh... maybe we were in over our heads all along" Dono Prime whispered, voice trembling for the first time.
"He’s truly... not a mere Main Character... He’s something far worse."
On the projection, the scene shifted once more.
The entire Ineffable Pantheon appeared.
-----
Each member sat upon distinct, majestic thrones arranged in a grand, circular formation beneath the red sky.
Nia and Vaeloria were seated comfortably on Ash’s lap, their presence regal and at ease.
The spirits rested in their usual spots around him, while Seris, Sonna, and Yonna sat closest, their expressions calm and knowing.
They all looked graceful, composed, and smiling — as if they knew exactly what was to come.
And in this moment, every being in the Source looked up at the Ineffable Pantheon with a mixture of awe, fear, and reverence as Ash leaned back slightly on his throne, his eyes glowing with quiet amusement.
A small, almost gentle smile touched his lips as he began to speak, his voice carrying across the Source like a decree from on high.
"Once upon a time..."
