Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 727: The Last Festival Before.... Eternity (2)

Before returning to the Source, Ash had gathered the entire pantheon to discuss how things should ultimately conclude.

As he had said before, it would go against everything he had stood for if they toyed too much with these beings.

For as long as anyone could remember—whether from their own encounters with Ash or from the stories passed around over time—it was understood that once he had enjoyed his fill of fun and adventure, what followed was complete destruction.

This had become something of a tradition for the clan, unlike other Novels who left the remnants of the lower realms behind after departing.

In their case, every fragment of cosmology was obliterated and erased the moment Ash and the Ineffable ascended.

This left him wondering—how should he erase the Source?

After some careful thought, they all agreed it might be worth indulging the curiosity of the Reader’s Faction.

After all, their entire existence revolved around killing him and conquering the Novel, so he decided he wouldn’t mind revealing to them who he truly was.

---

"Once upon a time," Ash began, his voice carrying across the Source like the first breath of creation itself, calm and measured, as if he were recounting an old, amusing tale to close friends.

HUMMMM!!!!

In that moment he begun speaking... the entire Source of Expansion fell silent.

Every being — from the crowds cheering at the massive floating stages, to the performers mid-dance, to the Primedivas gathered around glowing screens displaying highlights from the novel — stopped mid-motion.

The music from the Festival of Ten Lucky Draws faltered.

The whole realm seemed to hold its breath as every eye, every gaze, every flicker of awareness fixed upon the Ineffable Pantheon floating high above them all.

Nia leaned closer to Ash’s side, her voice a soft, amused whisper.

"Look at them... all eyes on us again."

Vaeloria chuckled quietly, resting her head against his shoulder.

"Fufufu~, as it should be."

Seris, Sonna, and Yonna exchanged playful glances, their expressions light even as the weight of the moment pressed down on the world below.

Ash’s smile remained gentle, almost nostalgic, as he continued.

"There was once a mere tired boy from a mortal world called Earth," he said, his tone light and almost wistful.

"A place where nothing extraordinary ever happened. A place where hardships were just another ordinary day."

As his words flowed, the transformation began — slow, inevitable, and beautiful in its finality.

The bustling festival grounds beneath the red sky started to flatten, their vibrant banners and floating stages curling at the edges like pages turning.

The massive screens displaying highlights from the novel froze, their images bleeding into ink-like lines.

The Primedivas below began to feel it first — a strange, weightless sensation as their bodies grew lighter, their forms softening at the edges.

Some reached out in confusion, watching their fingers begin to thin and flatten into colorful paper.

Obviously, Ash hadn’t come just to tell a story.

No, his purpose ran deeper—he intended to turn the very beings who sought to claim his tale into a story themselves, or more precisely, into unique Divine Artifacts he would scatter across Pantheos.

And so, as events unfolded, Ash continued speaking, his tone steady and unhurried, each word deliberate, as though he had all the time in the world.

"Then one night, while reading an interesting novel — Ten Thousand Kingdoms; One Sky — he was struck by lightning... and reconnected to the other half of his soul."

The more he spoke, the further his influence spread.

Towers and grand festival structures started to fold inward, their majestic spires curling like the corners of old books.

Three of the four suns seemed to dim slightly as the sky itself began to take on the texture of parchment.

"From that moment, he met two beautiful women... before setting out to conquer the entire world," Ash continued, hugging Vaeloria and Nia closer to him.

"Along the way, he grabbed any beauty that caught his eye."

"Eventually, he dealt with his past... conquered anything he wanted... and ultimately had fun while treating existence like bugs."

By now, the entire Source was folding.

The grand chamber where the leaders had gathered was slowly flattening, the crystalline walls curling like parchment.

Dono Prime, Tamaka the First, Vaelor Origin, Sylvara, and Korrath — along with Alex, Melissa, and Sammy — could only stare in wide-eyed horror as their bodies began to soften and flatten, turning into colorful sheets of paper.

Ash paused for a moment, looking down at the countless sheets of paper that had once been the Source’s inhabitants.

Then he smiled again and summoned the Ancestors he had brought from the Unknown, tossing them into the piles of floating pages below.

"The end."

HUMMMMMM!!!!!

In that final moment, the entire Source of Expansion closed like a book.

It shrank rapidly, condensing into an actual, beautifully bound book that floated gently into Ash’s open hand.

Nia chuckled softly beside him, her voice warm with affection.

"We can finally get lost in eternity together."

Katherine’s voice cut in with a playful scoff, her arms crossing as she floated closer.

"Yeah, right. Not without the rest of us, you greedy little thing."

Raven laughed, her white hair swaying.

"Exactly... Dream on, Nia. We all earned our time with him."

The other women and children chimed in with light, familiar banter, their voices mixing in the quiet aftermath — some teasing, some affectionate, all of them filled with the easy comfort of a family that had been through everything together.

Nia’s lips twitched, a pout forming as she hugged Ash tighter.

"Whatever! I demand ten trillion years with Ashy alone first," she declared, her tone half-serious, half-playful.

"The rest of you can wait your turn."

Ash smiled, his hand gently stroking her hair as he looked at all of them with quiet fondness.

"We’ll discuss that all later," he said, voice warm and reassuring. "For now... go back home. I have one last thing to handle."

With those words, the Ineffable Pantheon began to fade, disappearing one by one in soft flashes of light, leaving Ash alone in the quiet emptiness that remained.

He stood there for a long moment, the beautifully bound book still resting in his hand — the last remnant of the Source of Expansion.

A small, peaceful smile lingered on his lips as he looked out into the boundless expanse beyond.
