Kate’s Point of View

When we arrived at the packhouse, Ethan and Nathan came inside. I was happy that they didn’t just leave. I wanted to spend time with them. We headed up to my room. I was happy that Derek didn’t make a big deal about them coming up to my room, though I didn’t miss him staring as we walked past him.

Nathan seemed to be thinking about something. I could tell he was frustrated as we walked. I wanted to ask him, but I wasn’t sure if I should ask him. Once we walked into my room, I put my bag down and sat on my bed. They sat on the couch.

"Love, I want to apologize to you," Nathan said, and I looked at him.

"Why?" I asked

"I want to apologize for what Sara did today. I know it was my fault. I should never have messed around with her cousin. I should never have messed around with anyone. I know I am making it hard for you to trust Ethan and me. I made a lot of bad choices..."

"Nathan, you already apologized. I don’t need you to apologize anymore. I only want you to be the man that you told me you would be now. I want you to prove to me that you have changed. I feel you have changed. I don’t like that you were with others in the past, but that was the past."

"You are not the only one who made mistakes. I made them as well. Kate is right. We need to stop apologizing and just show her what she means to us. We will treat her like a Queen," Ethan said, and that caused me to smile.

"Yes, we will," Ethan said

"How about you let us take you out to dinner, Princess?" Ethan said

"Okay," I replied

Ethan and Nathan took me to the Redmoon Pack for dinner. We went to a nice Steakhouse. It reminded me of the one back at the Bloodmoon Pack.

Hello, Aphas. We have been expecting you," A woman said as we walked into the restaurant. She picked up three menus.

"Follow me, please," the lady said, and we followed her to a private room. As we walked, everyone stared. I ignored them. Once we were in the room, Ethan pushed my seat out for me to sit in, and then they sat on opposite sides of me. The lady put a menu in front of all of us and told us that our waitress would be in shortly.

The lights were dim in the room, and there were candles on the table. The table was in the middle of the room.

"I am happy you came to dinner with us, Love," Nathan said

"So am I," I said

"Do you know what you want?" Ethan asked as we looked at the menu

"I think I will have a porterhouse and salad," I replied

A woman walked into the room a few minutes later and took our order. She had on a very short skirt, and her shirt was unbuttoned so that her black bra would show.

"What can I get for you, Alphas?" She asked. She bent down so that they could get a nice view of her bra. I am not going to lie. She was pissing me off. I wasn’t even surprised that this was happening. It happened a lot to Rose and Ethan when they had first gotten together. I guess every pack is the same. They all have sluts that want to fuck a high-ranking wolf. They don’t care if they have mates or not. I just shook my head. I was pissed, but I wasn’t going to let her get to me. I wasn’t going to be that girl who fought every she-wolf slut.

"What would you like, Princess?" Nathan asked. I liked that they didn’t pay her any attention. She finally looked at me. Her smile faded into a blank expression. After we ordered, I noticed that Nathan was staring into space. That let me know that he was mind linking with someone.

Not long after, an older man walked into the room. "Hello, Alphas. I am so sorry for what happened. I have spoken with Tia and let her know that she no longer has a job here," the man said, looking panicked.

I wondered what he was talking about until Nathan spoke.

"Good, you need to speak to your staff. Let them know that it is disrespectful and absolutely unacceptable for them to try and flirt with us or any other mated wolf. This better not happen again, or you will also have to pay the price," Nathan said

"Yes, Alpha. I promise nothing like that will ever happen again."

"It better not," Nathan replied

"You can go now," Ethan said

"Yes, Alpha. Your new waitress will be in with your food once it is finished.

That was when I realized what was going on.

"You punished the waitress and got her fired?" I asked

"Of course. We will never let anyone disrespect our Luna," Nathan said, and I smiled.

I was starting to trust them even more as the days went by.
