Kate’s Point of View

"Hey, girl," Rose said as she walked over to my locker.

"Hey," I replied

"So you stayed the night with Ethan and Nathan again, huh? How was it?" Rose asked

"It was good. I finally got some sleep," I said

"That’s good." Rose and I walked to class. The day went by slowly. All I did was think about Ethan and Nathan. I missed them so much. My phone beeped, and I looked at it. Ethan was texting me.

"Hey, Princess. How is your day going?"

"Okay, how about yours?" I asked

"It’s been fine, I guess. But I do miss you," Ethan replied through text, and that made my heart flutter.

"I miss you too," I sent after a while of thought.

Once school was over, Rose and I went to cheer practice. I loved cheerleading, but I couldn’t wait until it was over. I would be able to see Ethan and Nathan once it was over.

Chrissy, a girl from the Redmoon Pack, walked over to me. "Hey, Kate," Chrissy said

"Hi," I replied

"Oh, I am sorry. I should be calling you Luna," Chrissy said

"No, Kate is fine," I replied, and then Chrissy’s friend, Leandra, started to laugh. I looked at her.

"It’s a good thing you know that you are not our Luna. Alpha Ethan and Nathan will be making Monica their mate and Luna."

Everyone sure felt that this Monica she wolf was going to be their Luna.

"Don’t say that, Leandra," Chrissy said

"Why, because they punished Sara. I am not worried about that. I am just stating facts. Monica is sophisticated and hard working. We don’t need a spoiled Alpha’s daughter to be our Luna." I was starting to get upset. I could feel something growing inside of me. It was like Energy. I remembered when Rose told me that she had the same feeling before she used her power. It sounded the same as what I was feeling.

"Who are you looking at?" Leandra said as she looked at me

"Kate, are you okay?" Rose asked

"Oh, now the little Alpha Princess is upset. What are you going to do? Tell your daddy or brother on me..."

"I am tired of you," I said as I felt a lot of energy burst through me. It started raining; I could hear the thunder and see the lightning strike.

As it started to storm, Leandra went flying into the bleachers. Everyone looked at me with shocked expressions on their faces. Everything looked blurry, and Rose walked over to me.

"Are you okay, Kate?" Rose asked, and then darkness took over.

Rose’s Point of View

I couldn’t believe it when Kate used powers on Leandra. As soon as she passed out, we took her to the nurse. I mind linked Derek letting him know what had happened and he showed up to school with his parents. I stayed with her in the clinic the entire time, worried. One thing I knew was that something like that didn’t happen for nothing. There was a reason Kate had powers, and I had a feeling that Lisa and Michael knew why

"How is she?" Lisa asked as soon as she walked inside.

"She is fine. The doctor said she used too much strength," I replied

"That’s good," Lisa said

"What’s going on?" I asked

"What do you mean?" Michael asked me with a blank expression on his face

"How is Kate able to use powers?" I asked

Lisa and Michael looked at each other and then at Derek. That was when I knew that Derek knew something as well

"Flower..."

"I know that you are hiding something. I get it if you don’t want to tell me but you need to tell Kate. This is about her. She deserves to know what is going on," I said

"We agree." Everyone turned to see Ethan and Nathan walk into the room

"You called them," Derek asked

"They are her mates. They deserved to know," I replied and Derek nodded in agreement.

"We can’t keep this from her. She needs to know the truth," Nathan said as he stared at Michael. Michael sighed.

"I know..."

Kate’s Point of View

I woke up to a terrible headache. I looked around to see that I was in the nurses office.

"Kate, thank the Goddess you are up," my mom said. I could see that Ethan and Nathan were in the room along with my parents, Rose and Derek.

"How are you feeling, Princess?" Ethan asked

"I feel okay. I do have a headache, though," I replied

"That is normal. It will go away soon," Rose said

That was when the events that happened earlier came back to me. I remembered getting upset and using some type of power to make Leandra fly into the bleachers. I instantly looked at my parents knowing that they would have the answers to my questions.

"Why do I have powers?"
