The Captain's Dirty Little Secret

Chapter 292 - Your Fault This Time

Chapter 292: Chapter 292 - Your Fault This Time

"Oh, Jesus Christ."

Roxie hugged the phone closer to her chest, glaring at Karen. "Shut up."

Angela leaned toward her. "What did he say?"

"Nothing."

Karen gave her a look.

Roxie sighed. "He wants me to meet him somewhere."

"Where?"

Roxie hesitated just long enough for Karen’s suspicion to get worse.

"The west restroom."

Karen stared at her. "The men’s restroom?"

"Yes."

Angela’s eyes widened.

Roxie immediately lifted one hand. "I have no idea what he wants."

Karen snorted. "Sure."

"I don’t."

"You two have been back together for less than a day and you already have scheduled bathroom meetings."

"I didn’t schedule anything. He texted me."

"That somehow makes him worse."

Roxie tried to hide the smile threatening to come back, but the whole thing was already making her stupidly happy. Zac had spent the entire morning looking at her across classrooms, finding every excuse to catch her eye and apparently suffering through the unbearable experience of going a few hours without being able to openly act like her boyfriend.

This time, he was the one causing the problem.

Roxie liked that more than she probably should.

"I’ll meet you guys at lunch."

Karen pointed at her. "If someone found you there, you’re cooked."

Roxie grinned. "We’ll be fast."

Karen acted like vomiting.

Roxie blushed hard. "Your mind is always in the gutter."

Angela laughed as Karen pulled her away.

Roxie waited until they disappeared into the crowd before turning toward the west hallway.

The farther she walked, the more ridiculous the whole thing became. They had seen each other in Chemistry. They had walked to school together that morning. They had eaten breakfast together. Zac had spent half the class staring at her like he had forgotten that pretending they were still broken up had been their idea in the first place.

Maybe he actually wanted to talk.

That was possible.

Maybe Dylan said something.

Maybe he wanted to complain about Noah again.

Maybe there was some completely reasonable explanation for why Zac Prescott had asked his girlfriend to meet him inside a men’s restroom during lunch.

Her phone buzzed again before she reached the corner.

Zac: You coming?

Roxie shook her head.

Roxie: Impatient.

His answer appeared almost immediately.

Zac: Very.

That made her smile harder.

She shoved the phone back into her bag before he could make her look any more obvious and continued down the quieter hallway. The west restroom sat near classrooms that barely got used during lunch, which explained why Zac had chosen it.

Roxie reached the door and looked both ways before pushing it open just enough to peek inside.

"Zac?"

"Come in."

She slipped through quickly and closed the door behind her.

Zac was standing near the sinks.

The second he saw her, he smiled.

Roxie barely had time to ask why he called her before he crossed the space between them, slipped both hands around her waist and pulled her close.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Hi, babe."

Then he kissed her.

Roxie laughed against his mouth because apparently that was the entire emergency.

She put both hands against his shoulders and pulled back enough to look at him. "You called me into the men’s restroom for a kiss?"

"I missed you."

Roxie stared at him. "You saw me in Chemistry."

"I couldn’t talk to you."

"You stared at me the entire class."

"You stared back."

"I was checking if you were staring."

Zac laughed. "That makes no sense."

"It makes perfect sense."

He leaned down and kissed her cheek.

Roxie tried looking annoyed, but the smile was already winning. "You’re crazy."

"I can’t calm down."

That made her laugh again. "From what?"

Zac shrugged while keeping his arms around her. "I don’t know. You’re my girlfriend again and I have to spend the whole day pretending you aren’t."

The simple way he said it softened something in Roxie immediately.

"And you already can’t survive until after school?"

"No."

Roxie laughed and wrapped her arms loosely around his neck. "Pathetic."

Zac grinned. "You came."

"That’s because I thought something happened."

"Something did."

"What?"

"I missed you."

"You are unbelievably dramatic."

Before she could say anything else he reached for her, hands settling at her waist, and pulled her in close. The solid line of his body pressed against hers. Even through the fabric she felt him, still half-hard, already thickening again from the simple contact. Her eyes widened a fraction.

She slapped his chest playfully, the sound light in the quiet of the restroom.

"I thought you missed me."

Zac’s grin only grew, lazy and unrepentant.

"I did." He leaned in, voice dropping lower. "I told you I can’t calm down too." His hips shifted just enough that she felt the full, insistent press of him against her. "Can we do it again tonight?"

Roxie’s face burned. The memory of his mouth, of his hand guiding hers, of the way he’d come across her thighs was still vivid enough to make her pulse skip. She opened her mouth to answer, but no words came out, only a small, flustered sound.

That was all the invitation he needed.

He kissed her hard, one hand sliding up into her hair, the other locking at the small of her back so there was nowhere to go but closer. Roxie melted into it almost instantly, lips parting under his, tongue meeting his with the same hungry urgency.

The kiss turned deep, and only the soft wet sound of their mouths filled the empty restroom. His body crowded hers against the cool tile wall, the hard length of him grinding slow and deliberate against her hip as if he couldn’t help himself.

She kissed him back just as fiercely, hands fisting in the front of his hoodie, pulling him nearer even though there was already no space left between them.

Every brush of his tongue, every low sound he made against her mouth, sent fresh heat curling low in her belly. She was still sensitive, still pulsing faintly from earlier, and the feel of him already wanting more made her dizzy.

Male voices.

Getting closer.
