Yang An had once heard from Zhuan Yu that there was more than one type of Buddha’s Light Wheel at Great Virtue Temple. Zhuan Yu alone knew of three: the Bright King Wheel, the Great Sun Wheel, and the Nine Marvels Wheel.

Yang An’s own Buddha’s Light Wheel was something he had obtained by fusing with a Sacrificial Bone. These bones were a rare product, formed only by chance from Buddhist Cultivators who were wholeheartedly devoted to their faith.

Judging from the Buddha’s Light Wheel on Hai Si, its aura had long been polluted and did not possess the same effects as the one Yang An owned.

’Although I don’t know which type this guy has, there’s definitely a Sacrificial Bone inside him. If I could get that Sacrificial Bone, purify it, and upgrade my own Buddha’s Light Wheel, it would be a considerable boost to my combat power.’

’But now isn’t the time for me to make a move. I should observe a little longer. At the very least, I need to reveal my purpose to Hai Xin first.’

Meanwhile, Hai Xin, having sent Hai Si flying with a single blow, burst into wild, frenzied laughter.

"You don’t know your own limits!"

he sneered without reservation.

’After being imprisoned in the Eternal Prison for a thousand years, the efforts I made to escape were far beyond anything this bunch could ever imagine.’

’Even though we all follow the Insect Dao, there is still a clear hierarchy.’

At the very least, Hai Xin didn’t give Hai Si a second thought.

HUMMM!

Countless blood-red Scripture Mantras rose from beneath the ground, forcefully breaking through the cover of the Lotus Platform under Hai Shu. An ever-increasing torrent of energy surged out, impossible to stop.

At that moment, not only was the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall shaking, but the entire Great Virtue Temple began to tremble.

The world beneath the ground was like the Netherworld itself, from which came the incessant, crazed whispers of all manner of Demon Fiends. They were laughing with excitement, thrilled at the prospect of finally leaving the Eternal Prison.

"Hai Shu, I told you I would one day leave the Eternal Prison! You can’t erase the sin you committed against the Great Bodhisattva, not even after a thousand or ten thousand years."

The blood-red Golden Buddha Statue continuously compressed. The statue, which looked as if it were forged from some kind of metal, glowed like a red-hot brand and quickly shrank into a humanoid form.

Hai Xin’s entire body was covered in Scripture Mantras, which served as his Monk’s Robe and Kasaya. His eyes were crammed with countless pupils as he stared at Hai Shu, his gaze brimming with killing intent.

Each of the countless Black Pupils seemed to be an independent entity. Though they were packed tightly together, they still drifted about within the tiny space of his eye sockets, creating a profoundly bizarre sight.

But before Hai Shu could speak, the countless pupils in Hai Xin’s eyes suddenly shifted their gaze to the other Lotus Platform in front of Hai Shu.

Or more precisely, at the Piglet on the Lotus Platform.

Standing on the Lotus Platform, Liu Feifei seemed to sense something. She controlled the Piglet’s body, shrinking back in fear, but she was unable to leave the platform.

’He finally noticed, huh?’

Although Hai Xin had ignored Yang An, seeing his gaze land on the Piglet set Yang An’s mind at ease.

’Since Forbidden Calamity had me bring Hai Xin out, he must have given instructions beforehand. Hai Xin has probably recognized the Forbidden Calamity Reincarnation Dharma Body.’

’In that case, I won’t need to take the initiative to reveal my identity and contact Hai Xin; he’ll contact me himself.’

But to Yang An’s surprise, after Hai Xin saw Forbidden Calamity’s Reincarnation Dharma Body, a cryptic smile suddenly appeared on his face.

"Hai Shu, has the Great Virtue Temple turned into a pigsty? Or are you all getting a craving for pork?"

Hai Shu: "..."

Yang An: "..."

’I knew it! I just knew it! No one can see anything special about a pig. Who would ever guess that a pig is actually the Reincarnation Dharma Body of a Bodhisattva?’

Yang An was speechless, but inwardly, he was ranting. Forbidden Calamity’s ridiculous gambit was enough to fool anyone who saw the Piglet at first glance, and Hai Xin was no exception.

Hearing Hai Xin’s mockery, Hai Shu suddenly started to laugh.

"Junior Brother, since you want to avenge the Great Bodhisattva, do you have any idea how disrespectful your words just now were to him? If the Great Bodhisattva knew what you just said, I’m afraid you would be the first one he’d punish."

"Heh, I am a disciple of the Great Bodhisattva. I would not and have never disrespected him. Hai Shu, you scoundrel, don’t try to twist the facts."

Hai Xin sneered, dismissing Hai Shu’s words as nothing more than a cunning attempt to fear-monger and sow discord.

But a single sentence wouldn’t be enough to shake his resolve.

Hai Shu, in response, laughed even more extravagantly. Then, he pointed a finger at the Piglet on the Lotus Platform.

"Then why don’t you take a look at what this is."

Liu Feifei had nowhere to run. A stream of Mana from Hai Shu struck the Piglet’s body, causing the Buddha’s Charm within to radiate out uncontrollably. In the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall, which was filled with a foul aura, it was like a vibrant pink flower suddenly blooming.

A pure lotus emerging from the muck, an eternal flame of light born from the darkness of Hell.

The moment this Buddha’s Charm appeared, Hai Xin froze. The countless pupils in his eyes contracted instantly, and his body began to tremble slightly as if in disbelief.

"The... the Dharma Body! The Great Bodhisattva’s Dharma Body!"

He suddenly realized what absurd things he had just said. If the Great Bodhisattva had been present, Hai Shu’s words would have been true—he would have committed a considerable sin.

Hai Xin glared furiously at Hai Shu. ’That bastard knew this was the Great Bodhisattva’s Dharma Body and didn’t even tell me. He set me up! Damn him!’

But upon seeing Forbidden Calamity’s Reincarnation Dharma Body, a memory from a time so long ago he could barely recall it flashed through Hai Xin’s mind.
