The Eclipsed Order

Chapter 121: The Crown That Transcended

Chapter 121: Chapter 121: The Crown That Transcended

"Hmm?"

Draven suddenly looked toward Samantha.

For a moment, his expression became unusually serious.

"Master..."

Ares turned toward him.

"What is it?"

Draven stared at Samantha, carefully observing the change in her presence.

"One of them has crossed the boundary as well."

Ares raised an eyebrow.

"Already?"

"Yes."

Draven’s eyes remained fixed on Samantha.

"Her mana has completely changed. It’s no longer merely denser or more powerful. The quality itself has undergone a transformation."

Cedric looked toward Samantha as well.

"She has entered the Transcendent realm."

A brief silence followed.

Ares looked at Samantha.

The difference was subtle, but once he focused on her, he could feel it as well. The power flowing through her body was no longer comparable to what she had possessed before. The authority he had entrusted to her had pushed her existence beyond the limits of an ordinary Superior.

A faint smile appeared on Ares’s face.

"Samantha."

Samantha immediately stepped forward and lowered her head.

"Yes, Master."

"Congratulations."

Her eyes widened slightly.

"R-Really?"

Ares nodded.

"You’ve crossed into the Transcendent realm."

For a moment, Samantha seemed unable to respond.

Then a smile slowly appeared on her face.

"T-thank you, Master."

She lowered her head again, her voice carrying unmistakable happiness.

"I will continue to improve and make sure that this power is worthy of the trust you have placed in me."

The Seven Crowns immediately turned toward her.

"Congratulations, Samantha."

"As expected of you."

"I knew you would be the first among us."

Samantha smiled as she looked toward them.

"Thank you. I couldn’t have done it without the power Master entrusted to me."

Ares watched the exchange quietly.

As I thought.

Among the Seven Crowns, Samantha has always been the strongest. Her power was already approaching the level of the Four Black Roses before receiving the new Authority.

Now that she has crossed into Transcendence, it’s only a matter of time before the others begin approaching that boundary as well.

He looked across the Seven Crowns.

"But don’t misunderstand what this means."

The members immediately became quiet.

"Samantha reaching Transcendence doesn’t mean the rest of you have fallen behind."

Ares’s voice remained calm.

"You have all been entrusted with your own Authority, and each of you has developed differently because of it. Strength isn’t determined simply by who reaches the next realm first."

He paused.

"What matters is whether you can properly control what you’ve been given."

The Seven Crowns listened carefully.

Ares then turned his attention toward the rest of the chamber.

"There are still two Authorities remaining."

The atmosphere changed immediately.

The Ten Reapers straightened.

The other divisions also focused their attention on Ares.

Vhan and Vince remained silent, while the members of the Four Black Roses watched without interrupting.

Ares continued.

"Those two Authorities will not be given based on rank alone."

His gaze moved across the chamber.

"They will be entrusted to those who prove themselves worthy of carrying them."

No one spoke.

"The power they contain is not something that can simply be handed to someone because they desire it. Whoever receives one of those Authorities will carry a responsibility far greater than their own strength."

Ares’s expression became slightly more serious.

"If you believe you are worthy, then prove it through your actions. When the time comes, I will decide who should receive them."

The Ten Reapers lowered their heads.

"We understand, Great Eclipse."

"We will prove ourselves."

Ares nodded.

"Good."

He then looked toward the remaining members of Eclipse.

"And that isn’t all."

Several members exchanged glances.

Ares raised one hand.

"This time, I will also strengthen the rest of you."

A faint black-and-white radiance began gathering around his body.

The pressure filling the chamber changed almost immediately.

Unlike the Authorities, this power was not meant to create another special title or elevate one particular individual above the others.

It was Eclipse itself.

The same mysterious power that had transformed the earliest members of the Order would now be entrusted to everyone who had continued serving beneath their respective divisions.

The Harbingers.

The Watchers.

The Vanguards.

The Sentinels.

The Seekers.

The officers and officials led by Lydia.

Even the twenty Private Elites who had remained at Ares’s disposal.

All of them felt the change before the power even reached their bodies.

Ares slowly extended his hand.

"Eclipse."

The word was quiet.

Yet the moment it left his mouth, an immense wave of black-and-white energy spread throughout the throne chamber.

It passed through the gathered members without distinction.

One after another, they felt the Eclipse enter their bodies.

Their mana began circulating differently.

Their physical strength increased.

Their senses became sharper.

Their control over their existing abilities improved as the Eclipse intertwined with their own power, reinforcing what was already there rather than replacing it.

The chamber remained completely silent.

No one dared interrupt the process.

Then the first reactions began.

"...."

A member of the Harbingers clenched their hand.

"I can feel it."

Another slowly looked down at their body.

"My mana..."

A Sentinel took a deep breath.

"It’s much denser than before."

A Seeker closed their eyes for a moment, feeling the change moving through every part of their body.

"My senses have improved."

The members of the other divisions began experiencing similar changes.

No one had received an Authority.

No new title had been bestowed upon them.

But they had all become stronger.

Far stronger than they had been before.

Ares lowered his hand once the Eclipse had finished spreading through the chamber.

"There."

He looked over everyone.

"That should be enough for now."

For several seconds, nobody moved.

Then the chamber finally erupted into applause.

It wasn’t chaotic or disorderly.

The sound spread gradually through the enormous hall, beginning with a few members before the entire chamber joined in.

The members of Eclipse looked toward Ares with expressions filled with gratitude and admiration.

Some lowered their heads.

Others pressed a hand against their chest.

A few simply stared at him in silence, still trying to understand the power they had just received.

Master gave us even more power...

Even after everything he has already given us.

How can someone possess this much power?

We were nothing compared to what we are now.

The Great Eclipse truly gave us a chance to become something greater.

The Ten Reapers stood silently among the crowd, while the Seven Crowns remained composed despite the excitement surrounding them.

Samantha looked toward Ares with renewed determination.

The Four Black Roses watched him with the same unwavering loyalty they had possessed from the beginning.

Lydia and the officers exchanged brief glances before returning their attention to the throne.

Even those who had never expected to receive anything from the Great Eclipse now understood that their efforts had not gone unnoticed.

Ares looked across the enormous chamber.

Hundreds of people stood before him.

They had different positions, different abilities, and different responsibilities, yet every one of them had been brought together under the same organization.

For a brief moment, Ares felt the weight of their gazes.

They weren’t looking at him merely as their leader.

To them, he was the person who had given them strength when they had possessed none, the person who had opened a path that had previously been beyond their reach.

And somehow, that made him feel slightly uncomfortable.

Why are they looking at me like that?

Ares maintained a calm expression.

He couldn’t exactly stand here and admit that he wasn’t used to this kind of attention.

So instead, he simply smiled.

"Continue improving."

His voice carried across the chamber.

"The strength I’ve given you is not meant to make you complacent. Use it properly. Protect the Order, protect the people beneath your care, and prepare yourselves for whatever comes next."

The applause gradually faded.

Everyone stood in silence once again.

Ares looked toward the Ten Reapers.

"Those two Authorities will eventually find their owners."

Then he looked across the other divisions.

"And until that day comes, all of you have the same responsibility."

His expression became calm and firm.

"Become stronger."

No one hesitated.

"Yes, Great Eclipse."

The response echoed through the throne chamber.

Ares remained seated upon the throne, looking over the members of Eclipse.

For the first time, the organization no longer felt like a collection of individuals he had gathered along the way.

It had become something much larger.

And now that everyone had received another portion of Eclipse’s power, the next stage of their growth had officially begun.
