Well, they found what they had come for much sooner than expected. Unfortunately, the XL-sized ones were quite limited. There were only two packs left in the entire store, which left Jian staring at the shelf with a mixture of relief and embarrassment.

"Shall we hit another store or something? Is this enough?" Li Wang asked casually, completely unaware that Jian’s face was already turning as pink as a ripe peach.

"N-no. This is more than enough."

"Oh no, I don’t think it is." Nansich casually reached over and took the box of condoms from Jian’s trembling hands, inspecting it with far too much seriousness. "Look, it has only five inside one box. You can only have sex like ten times with this. What after that?"

Jian’s entire face turned even redder.

But Nansich suddenly stopped.

His eyes widened as he stared at the box, then slowly lifted his head to look at Jian.

"Why do you need condoms anyway? You’re both guys. That guy Xing Yu doesn’t seem like a guy who would cheat. Why would you worry about this...?"

He shook the box right in front of Jian’s face as though demanding an explanation from it.

Jian immediately snatched it back, his fingers fumbling around the packaging as he desperately tried to avoid Nansich’s questioning gaze.

Celaus walked inside.

His gaze immediately settled on his brother, who was currently being held in Nansich’s rather questionable chokehold. His cold, narrowed eyes shifted toward Nansich for a second.

That single look was enough.

Nansich instantly released Jian.

"Brother... he wasn’t trying to hurt me. We were just playing around." Jian quickly defended himself, rubbing his neck while trying to look as innocent as possible.

But Celaus’s attention had already left him.

The moment his eyes landed on Li Wang, everything else seemed to disappear from his mind.

He walked toward him and stopped directly in front of him, a small, almost gentle smile appearing on his face.

"I cleaned out all the flowers from your room. You don’t have to worry about that anymore. And about your allergy, I talked to our medic. It can be cured."

Li Wang slowly raised his eyes.

Those soft blue eyes met his.

For a brief moment, he froze.

And unfortunately, his mind immediately went back to the conversation they had just been having.

The mere thought of it was enough to make heat rush straight to his face.

"Where are you going? Do you require anything?" Celaus asked, following behind them without hesitation.

"We need privacy. If you can give me that." Li Wang glanced back at him and gave him a sarcastic smile.

Celaus stopped.

His tall figure stood in the middle of the desolate road, watching Li Wang walk away. For once, there was no stubbornness in his expression. Only a quiet, almost wounded sadness.

Li Wang caught that look from the corner of his eye. His steps faltered for half a second.

But he immediately forced himself to keep walking.

He could not look back anymore. So he decided not to look.

’That lost-puppy look won’t work on me, buddy.Tsk.’

Taking a deep breath, he dragged the two along with him. "Let’s... let’s search other stores. We can find other things we need. Toothpaste, maybe..." he mumbled, desperately trying to steer the conversation toward anything else.

"Dude... you never said you have a Farian guy," Nansich whispered beside him.

"Stop that! I don’t look like that!" Li Wang snapped, pushing him away.

"But you did..." Jian whispered softly from beside them.

Li Wang froze.

He slowly looked down at Jian, his expression stiffening.

"I... I don’t like men."

The words came out far less confidently than he wanted.

But who was he kidding?

Even he could hear how unconvincing he sounded.
