The First Patriarch: Streaming My Cosmic Harem
Chapter 112: Killing the Mutated WolfThe curved blade struck home with a sickening squelch, sinking up to its reinforced hilt directly into the wolf’s old, half-healed abdominal scar.
AWOOOOO—!
A harrowing shriek of raw agony tore from the beast’s throat, vibrating through the rocky cavern walls.
But instead of faltering, the catastrophic injury drove the veteran predator into a state of blind, suicidal madness.
The sickly green glow in its eyes flared into an apocalyptic, blazing emerald inferno.
Frothing with acidic black bile and boiling blood, the wolf completely ignored its mutilated underbelly.
Driven by pure feral spite, it lunged forward on its three intact limbs, its remaining teeth gnashing furiously as it dragged the embedded blade with its own flesh just to close the distance and crush Azriel beneath its massive weight.
Azriel didn’t give it that final inch.
Bracing his heels deep into the stone fractures at the base of the boulder, Azriel locked both hands onto the taut iron links.
With a low, guttural roar that ripped through his burning chest, he channeled every ounce of his enhanced Physical Prowess into a brutal, explosive heave.
RIIIIIP—CRACK!
Acting as a merciless manual winch, the chain snapped violently taut.
The embedded sickle carved through dense muscle, cartilage, and bone like a hot razor through leather, ripping open a catastrophic, cavernous trench from sternum to pelvis.
A torrential flood of steaming, black corrupted blood and severed organs erupted across the riverbank, sizzling and hissing as it splashed against the stone.
The sheer trauma finally severed the beast’s nervous system.
The wolf collapsed heavily onto the stones, its massive frame skidding across the slick rock and convulsing in a frantic, dying tremor.
Even as its life drained away, its blood-soaked jaws continued to snap blindly at the empty air, clawing desperately toward Azriel.
Panting raggedly, fresh crimson blood trickling from his split lips and torn shoulder, Azriel stepped through the warm, sulfurous mist of spraying gore.
His violet eyes burned with cold, unyielding malice.
Stepping directly onto the back of the thrashing beast’s neck, Azriel pinned its skull to the stone under his heavy combat boot.
He reached down, wrapped his fingers firmly around the sickle’s iron handle, and ripped it free with a wet squelch before driving the curved steel point downward with absolute, crushing momentum straight into the base of the beast’s skull.
CRACK— BANG!
The stone beneath shattered into a spiderweb of deep fissures from the sheer downward force.
The wolf’s frantic spasms ceased instantly, its blazing green pupils dilating before fading into a dull, hollow, lifeless grey.

Azriel stood over the steaming carcass, his chest heaving as he drew in ragged, burning breaths.
The adrenaline rush slowly receded, leaving behind the sharp, throbbing reality of three cracked ribs and deep lacerations across his shoulder and chest.
The green, corruptive toxin continued to sizzle within his bloodstream, sending an icy numbness creeping toward his neck.
Without a moment of hesitation, Azriel tapped into his spatial ring with a mental pulse.
A crystal vial filled with a shimmering, azure-colored liquid materialized in his palm alongside the jade jar of soothing balm.
Popping the wax seal with his thumb, he downed the Aether Cleansing Tonic in a single gulp, then scooped a generous layer of balm over his shredded shoulder.
Hssssss—
The cool, purifying aether surged through his internal meridians like a soothing mountain stream.
The spreading numbness receded almost instantaneously, while the pungent green acid fizzled out of his open wounds in a thin plume of white steam.
The deep lacerations began to knit together under the salve’s regenerative potency, sealing the broken capillaries and dulling the agonizing grind of his fractured ribs down to a manageable, dull ache.
Azriel let out a long, shuddering breath, wiping a smear of dark gore and sweat from his forehead.
Turning to the massive wolf corpse, he flicked his sickle to extract the beast’s Core, a jagged, thumb-sized crystal glowing with a murky green light, and severed the razor-sharp timber fangs.
With a single mental command, the materials vanished cleanly into his spatial ring.

[Crimson_Fury] (White): Simp... you would even call him sexy when he is taking a dump...
[Moon_Priestess_99] (Cyan): Hmph.... I am not like you, crimson bitch...
Rustle.
A faint, unnatural disturbance in the thick willow canopy directly above shattered the momentary stillness.
Azriel’s entire body instantly locked up.
The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end as a suffocating, predatory chill plunged the surrounding temperature below freezing.
His Thermal Gaze flared to life, yet just like before, the branches overhead showed absolute, pitch-black nothingness.
His grip tightened on the sickle handle until his knuckles turned bone-white.
Heart hammering against his cracked ribs, Azriel slowly tilted his chin upward toward the gloom.
Azriel didn’t hesitate.
Looping the iron chain in his fingers, he shifted his weight back into a low, defensive spring.
His violet eyes burned with desperate focus, the crescent sickle raised in a high reverse grip, ready to unleash everything he had against whatever monstrosity was lurking above.
Then, the shadows parted.
A low, resonant purr drifted down through the bioluminescent vines, followed immediately by a burst of rich, unrestrained laughter that echoed boisterously across the cavern.
"Pfft.... hahahahahahaha!"
Vesperia leaned forward over the thick willow bough, her leather-clad shoulders shaking as she wiped an amused tear from the corner of her golden eye.
Her long, white feline tail whipped lazily through the air behind her.
