The pressure from the world wasn’t just pushing him up, though. It was also displacing him deeper into the dimensions of space, so his figure was also becoming faint as he was being forced into the second and third dimensions. This made it more difficult for him to interact with the first dimension.
The good news was that he was not the only one experiencing this feeling of alienation. The other two newcomers were also experiencing it, so the three of them were rising into the air and being pushed out.
The other two didn’t look worried and were taking the situation quite calmly. As ancient figures who used to be Dao Lords and had only returned to their power, he wasn’t surprised that they were calm in the face of the alienating pressure.
He, on the other hand, was experiencing this for the first time. He also wasn’t like them in that he didn’t have a Domain to call his own in the Sea of Worlds. Now would be the best moment to create that Domain, so he was too busy to chat with Wandering Thief.
First, he spent a few moments thinking about his situation and how to go about it. After making a decision, he moved his mind around and ordered the Devouring Supreme Metac to split.
The Devouring Supreme Metac did what was asked of it and created a copy of itself for Loki. This copy was an exact replica of Fenrir. It was a white star with a black band around it.
It had the exact look as Fenrir, only that it was empty. The only way it was similar to the true Devouring Supreme Metac was the appearance. It lacked substance and could only be used as a projection of Loki’s power. But this was good for what Loki needed it to do.
Taking the star, it appeared in his broken, dilapidated hand. Then he raised the star up and offered it to the Blessed Heaven World.
For a while, all he received in response from the world was hostility and wariness. But after a few milliseconds, the opinion of the world around him changed, and the star in his hand was accepted.
Because of the acceptance of the world, the star flew out of his hands into the second dimension, into the third dimension, up to the sky of the third dimension, and finally into the divine constellation where it joined the inner circle of stars, becoming the 17th star revolving around the sun.
Seeing this, he mused, thinking, ’It would seem that I cannot anchor my Supreme Metac unilaterally in any world. It is just not a matter of course.’
’The world gets to choose the pathways in it. Either it accepts my Supreme Metac, or I find a way to force it to.’
Chuckling, he thought, ’Fortunately, it accepted my Supreme Metac because I don’t know what to do to force it. I doubt I even have the time to force it now.’
He didn’t dwell on this for long as he had work to do. Now that his Supreme Metac had been accepted, he could finally shed his Domain Stat and let it take root in the world as a Domain of heaven and earth.
This step needed energy, though. The acceptance of the Blessed Heaven World only meant he could build the Domain. The Domain wouldn’t be built free of charge, and he would need to pay a high price for it.
Of course, he could circumvent this expense by dropping his Cave Heaven and using it as his Domain. But since his Cave Heaven had the potential to become a Divine Mountain, he decided against doing so.
He smirked slightly as he thought, ’It is not like I don’t have a way to acquire the energy I need. I am not that desperate as to drop my Cave Heaven just yet.’
As he said this, he activated the Devouring Ability. This is something he has always done to acquire lifespan. The difference this time was that he chose to devour everything around him, including the sect grounds.
He also didn’t stop with one city. He let the black force field expand wantonly throughout the Central Domain, devouring everything it came into contact with.
Even the ground beneath him was not left unscathed. He was like a hungry ghost who didn’t discriminate between living things, non-living things, heaven, and earth.
Whether it was houses, city walls, plants on a farm, and the farm itself, along with the forest around the farm, he devoured everything.
Part of the lifespan he gained from eating the world was channeled to the projection of the Devouring Supreme Metac and used to build the Domain. Another part was channeled into his Cave Heaven to increase its size.
The last portion of the lifespan was kept for future purposes. He felt that this was an important thing to do since there was a pair of angry eyes in the sky glaring at him right now.
The split towards these three things was 40% for the Domain, 40% for the Cave Heaven, and 20% for his future survival. These three needs also meant that he needed a lot of lifespan to complete his plans before being forced to ascend.
Of course, the act of using his power in the Sea of Worlds affected his rate of expulsion in that it sped it up. The rejection of the world increased, pushing him out of the Sea of Worlds at a faster speed.
The only good thing was that the rejection of the world was passive, not active. The rate of the increase in his speed was constant and directly proportional to the amount of disturbances he was creating in the world.
If the rejection was active, the world would be trying to push him out at all costs because of how potentially dangerous he was, not based on how much damage he had actually caused. As for why the world wasn’t actively expelling him, he had an inkling.
