Though it was late at night, in this city of the Devil Clan, many evil creatures were still active, and the streets were bustling.

It was understandable; originally, they were various animals, with some accustomed to daytime activities, and others being nocturnal.

So after Ling Feng finished disguising himself, he could walk down the street with ease, without worrying about anything.

Divine Sense had scanned the city, and Ling Feng headed directly to a place resembling a tavern.

This place was crowded with evil creatures, and it was chaotic inside.

According to human customs, this should also be a good place to gather information.

Upon entering the tavern and seeing the various evil creatures inside, Ling Feng felt as if he’d entered a monster zoo!

He didn’t say a word and directly found an empty spot to sit down.

He had no money in his pocket and didn’t know what currency was used here, so he decided not to make any purchases.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he sat down, a guy who looked somewhat like him came over: "Buddy, what would you like to drink?"

"Uh, I didn’t bring any money, so I won’t be drinking," Ling Feng said.

The response amused him, as he laughed like a chainsaw starting up, then said: "Brother, where are you from? Don’t you know that in our city, the Primates don’t need to pay?"

"Uh, I’m from out of town, really didn’t know that," Ling Feng replied awkwardly.

"Since you’re from out of town, I’ll get you a local specialty drink, wait here!"

The guy said, heading straight to the counter and returning later with a cup made of earthenware.

"Buddy, drink it slowly!"

After putting down the cup, the guy walked away.

Looking at the cup filled with murky fluid resembling muddy water, Ling Feng was speechless.

He thought to himself that he absolutely wouldn’t drink such a dirty-looking thing!

Turning to look around, he saw other evil creatures gathered in groups, chatting away, using language they had just learned. Though chaotic, he could catch some fragments of conversation.

Truth be told, the things these guys were discussing were actually quite interesting to Ling Feng!

Just like humans, they chatted about gossip while drinking, and what they were talking about now was primarily about the fire meteor.

Ling Feng listened quietly for a while and pieced together a clue!

The fire meteor hailed from their home planet, and its current visitor was an important figure, seemingly a high-ranking official in the military.

The evil creatures also mentioned some of the achievements of the figure from the home planet.

However, Ling Feng wasn’t interested in that; he wanted to know what the figure was here for and what was going on with their home planet, and whether there was frequent interaction between them and Earth.

After listening for a while and realizing there wasn’t much of value, Ling Feng’s eyes shifted as he contemplated a different method.

He targeted an evil creature preparing to leave, planning to catch and interrogate it in a secluded place.

But unexpectedly, there was a commotion at the door, and subsequently, more than ten evil creatures in identical vests came striding in, shouting loudly upon entry: "The commander has ordered; an unknown outsider has trespassed into our city. Everyone, pay attention to any strange companions, and if found, the military will reward you!"

Ling Feng listened and clicked his tongue in his heart, thinking they were quite vigilant. He assumed that once in the city, he would be safe!

While pondering, he noticed the one who had given him the drink going over to talk quietly with those individuals!

Subsequently, the gaze of those individuals shifted his way!

Soon, the one who spoke first stepped forward, staring at Ling Feng with fiery red eyes: "Buddy, where are you from?"

"Uh..."

Ling Feng didn’t expect to be targeted so quickly and was dumbfounded.

The other didn’t ask further, merely sniffed, then suddenly drew a long knife from his waist: "Human scent, this is the intruder!"

Clang!

All the evil creatures present stood up, directly surrounding Ling Feng!

"..."

Ling Feng was speechless, realizing that dealing with the Devil Clan was completely different from interacting with humans.

Seeing the evil creatures glaring at him, he had no choice but to stand up, speak calmly: "Alright, since I’ve been discovered, there’s nothing more to say. What do you want?"

"What do we want? Kill you!"

The guy who had drawn the knife raised his hand and prepared to strike!

Realizing he had no other choice, Ling Feng retaliated!

With a "bang," he struck the evil creature with his palm, sending it flying. Before the others could react, a powerful aura erupted from Ling Feng’s body!

With a "boom," the wood-covered tavern instantly collapsed!

"My shop!"

The creature that had reported him yelled, directly getting knocked down by the falling timbers!

By this time, Ling Feng was already outside the tavern.

In terms of speed, none of them could catch up to him.

Seeing the tavern reduced to ruins, Ling Feng chuckled and walked away.

People on the street didn’t notice him and ran towards the tavern.

As he walked along the street, Ling Feng felt somewhat disoriented.

He suddenly realized that evil creatures had highly acute senses, much sharper than humans.

Even though he’d disguised himself, he couldn’t cover the scent of his body and was easily spotted.

Thus, while walking, he pondered that using disguise to gather information wasn’t viable; he should directly seize someone who knows a lot and ask them!

Just as he thought of this, an evil creature with a knife and wearing a similar vest walked up!

This guy had a horse face with a human-shaped body, but a horse-like head.

Being in the military, it probably knew quite a bit!

Ling Feng made up his mind and stepped up: "Buddy, got something to ask!"

The Horse Demon paused: "What is it?"

"Let’s talk over here, it’s a bit confidential," Ling Feng said mysteriously.

The Horse Demon seemed a bit dazed, but without thinking much, followed him into a dark alley.

Entering the darkness, Ling Feng didn’t hesitate, he struck directly!

Unexpectedly, after being hit on the back of the neck, the Horse Demon was merely stunned: "What are you doing?"

"...."

Ling Feng was speechless; he hadn’t managed to knock it out!

He then realized he had been thinking like a human again, forgetting that this wasn’t a human in front of him!

Could hitting a horse’s neck knock it out?

Obviously not; he had to target its head!

Ling Feng feared using excessive force and accidentally killing it, so he sighed, pulled the Horse Demon, and sent it directly into the Space Ring!
