"Lady Catherine, please hurry and take us to the farm!"

Catherine rolled her eyes. "Not worried about the messy noble circles anymore?"

Strictly speaking, Sean wasn't a noble at the moment, and there were no true nobles on the entire farm. But considering the man's true identity, it wasn't wrong to call him one. After all, back in the day, even the Pope had to defer to him. It would be no exaggeration to describe him and the Holy Sanctuary as the greatest nobility of the Era of Polymath.

"Oh, but it's different," Elise said, rather embarrassed. "Mr. Blake isn't a stranger. We all know what kind of person he is. He wouldn't do anything to us."

Catherine said meaningfully, "I'm less worried about what he might do to you, and more worried about what *you* might do to him."

"If you do something you shouldn't, no one will be able to save you."

"I hope you're clear on the stakes."

"We know, we know."

Elise raised her hand in a pledge. "Please, don't worry, Lady Catherine. My sister and I promise we won't do anything reckless."

Catherine sighed again. "Let's hope so."

'She really didn't understand why Her Highness the Saintess was doing this. The city was so large, with so many people to choose from, so why the Eleanor Sisters? Especially when Her Highness already knew Elise had improper designs on Sean. Wasn't this just giving Elise an opportunity to get what she wanted?'

As a fellow woman, Catherine couldn't begin to fathom what Her Highness the Saintess was thinking.

So, she decided to ask.

She also wanted to check if she'd relayed the right message to the Eleanor Sisters. If there was a problem, it wasn't too late to correct it.

After seeing the Eleanor Sisters out of the city, Catherine returned to Black Rose Castle and reported everything that had happened on the way to Diana.

"You did the right thing." This was what Diana appreciated most about Catherine. Catherine was clever, but only just clever enough. She knew how to handle most things without being told, but she could never guess Diana's true motives.

Catherine asked tentatively, "Aren't you truly worried that something might happen between Elise and Mr. Blake?"

Diana walked to the window. Watching the sinking crescent moon, she shook her head and chuckled. "I'm not the one who should be afraid. She is."

'She doubted Elise had the nerve. And even if she did, so what? Would Daeli's sister allow Sean to get involved with another woman? Of course not. Then again, it might be for the best if they actually did do something. If Sean truly had emotional and... physical needs, she would much rather the person fulfilling them be her "sister" than Daeli's. The Eleanor Sisters were people she could control. A single word from her, and they would hand Sean right over. This was also why she had just spoken to the Eleanor Sisters with such a superior, imperious attitude. She had to make those two girls understand exactly who was in charge here. And at the same time, she would make Sean understand who was truly looking out for him. Besides, you don't bite the hand that feeds you. She had personally helped the Eleanor Sisters become Grand Mages tonight. If they ever got out of line in the future, she could use that fact to keep them in their place.'

Of course, Diana wouldn't explain any of this to Catherine.

It was a private matter; there was no need to tell Catherine.

There was, however, one thing she needed to remind Catherine of.

The instructions Catherine had given the Eleanor Sisters were mostly correct, but she had missed one thing.

"The *Fallen Nether Technique*."

Diana said, "Tell them to learn it in their spare time after they find Sean at the farm."

That way, they could report the situation to her at any time.

Catherine said at once, "I'll go inform them now."

Diana waved her hand. "Go. You don't need to report back to me when you return. I'm going to rest."

"Yes."
