She hoped the ship would sail faster so she could see her Master sooner.

Robert had also slept soundly.

With two Grand Mages on board, Robert had slept more soundly than ever before.

Such was the "magic" of a Grand Mage; their mere presence could put one at ease.

「On the third day.」

As if in answer to a certain young girl's incessant prayers, the cruise ship finally entered White Ice Port, dropped anchor, and docked.

An entire shipload of three thousand Wizards disembarked, all clad in identical black robes. The sight nearly sent the port staff scrambling to call the police. If it weren't for the fact that this place was too remote for the police to be of any use—the local precinct's numbers wouldn't be a match for this crowd even if they were several times larger—they might have actually done it. The whole spectacle screamed trouble.

It was like walking down the street when a van suddenly pulls up and a horde of men in sunglasses piles out. The only difference was that the vehicle was a ship instead of a van.

Only the port's owner wasn't afraid.

Not only was he unafraid, but he even approached them proactively, greeting Robert with a fawning smile.

This was because Robert had already contacted him in the name of the Florist Family.

A deal this big only came around once every few years.

"Have you taken care of the matter I entrusted to you?" Robert asked.

The owner nodded hastily. "It's done. I canceled all sailing routes seven days ago. Not a single ship has left the harbor all week."

"Excellent."

Robert nodded in satisfaction.

He believed the owner's words.

The man knew how the Florist Family operated; he wouldn't be foolish enough to gamble with his own life.

This place, World's End, was far from the centers of civilization. It had only five small towns, and all five shared this single port. In other words, by blockading White Ice Port, Sean and his companions were like fish in a barrel, trapped on an isolated island, just waiting to be caught.

"Once I've caught my man, you'll get every penny you're owed," Robert said, then shot a look at one of his subordinates.

The subordinate immediately understood. He turned to the crowd of Witch Hunters, who nearly filled the tiny port, and roared, "Move out! Search everywhere! Don't let anyone get away!"

"Yes, sir!"

Hundreds of Smell Crows were released at once, their pitch-black wings blotting out the sky.

Three thousand Witch Hunters poured into the town, their synchronized footsteps making the ground rumble.

Seeing their menacing advance, many local residents abandoned their stalls and fled.

The owner of the car rental shop, who had been chatting with someone outside, found the cigar in his hand trembling. He quickly scurried back to his garage and slammed the door shut for the day.

It was no wonder they were terrified.

The Florist Family had turned out in full force, and the sheer scale of their deployment was indeed terrifying.

However, the Smell Crows circled in the sky for a long time without finding a clear direction or changing color.

None of the five towns were very large. Before long, search parties began returning to report to Robert, who was standing guard at the port to prevent Sean and the others from using the chaos to escape.

"Clan Leader, Town 1 is clear."

"No sign of the target in Town 2."

"Nothing in Town 3, either."

The towns all had names, of course, but Robert couldn't be bothered to use them. Firstly, it was too much trouble, and secondly, he felt they weren't worthy. So, he had simply numbered them from nearest to farthest.

"Impossible."

Robert's voice was grim. "They have to be hiding somewhere. If the Smell Crows are useless, then you'll find them yourselves. Search every last house!"

'They didn't need to worry about the police arresting them for trespassing, either.'

'For one, the police did plenty of that themselves.'

'And for another, compared to the Florist Family, the police were a complete joke.'

"I don't care how you do it. I want to see Sean before nightfall!"
