"I’m guessing the Pragma is not from someone using their Factor?" Overdrive asked, hearing the surprise in Cyrus’s voice.
[No,] Cyrus responded, [it feels as if it was being actively produced down there.]
"Alright then," Overdrive muttered, "let’s find out what it is."
Without hesitation, the hero jumped into the tunnel Dune had left behind. It was quite dark, but he didn’t have to worry too much about that because the next second, multiple orb-like drones were released from his utility belt.
The orbs then released a glow, lighting up the entire tunnel, revealing exactly how wide it was.
"How many drones did you stuff in my suit?" Overdrive asked as he looked at the number of drones lighting up his path.
[Don’t worry about it,] Cyrus said with a chuckle.
That reply meant he had stuffed in a lot more than Overdrive could guess, so the hero decided to ignore that for now.
He then focused on the tunnel ahead of him, finally noticing the amount of pragma being released from deeper inside.
"How big is this tunnel?" He asked as he continued deeper into the tunnel.
[It would be more accurate to call it a mining ground,] Cyrus answered, [I would’ve suspected that they had been digging this thing for quite a while if they didn’t have Dune with them.]
He was right.
The tunnel was big enough to allow three people to walk side by side, and if Dune had been the one to make it, then it meant that she was holding back against him.
Overdrive continued walking for a while before Cyrus spoke up again, [Wait!], causing him to stop in his tracks.
"What’s wrong?" The hero asked with a frown on his face as he looked ahead.
[The concentration of Pragma is coming from beneath you,] Cyrus informed, and one of the drones immediately moved towards the ground. [Will you stand back a little?]
Overdrive obliged, stepping back a bit before the drone released what seemed to be a laser, causing the beam to hit the ground.
Cyrus had intended to create a hole just big enough to allow Overdrive through, but the next second,
BOOM!
The ground beneath the hero suddenly gave way, forcing him to quickly jump backwards as the floor collapsed, sending chunks of dirt and stone tumbling into the darkness below.
Overdrive landed safely and looked down. "That’s one way to find a hidden room."
[There’s definitely something down there,] Cyrus said, quickly pulling attention away from the fact that he had created a hole bigger than he intended. [The Pragma concentration just increased dramatically.]
"Yeah," Overdrive nodded as he glanced at the hole, "I can sense it now too."
He was silent for a while before finally asking, "How deep is it?"
[Approximately twelve meters.]
"That’s not too bad." He stepped towards the edge and, without hesitation, he jumped down.

Overdrive crouched as he landed on the floor below, and the drones followed him, lighting up his surroundings.
The hero noticed that he was now in some sort of massive chamber, within which he could sense massive amounts of Pragma.
[How strange,] Cyrus muttered as the drones moved all around the chamber, [there appears to be nothing here.]
"Not quite," Overdrive responded as he walked forward.
There were several cavities in the walls around him, ones that seemed to previously be holding something.
And if he had to guess, those were the sources of the residual Pragma that was currently in the air.
The hero stopped in front of one of the walls before he looked on the ground, spotting a shard of something lying there.
[A crystal?] The agent asked as he saw it through the drones.
Overdrive crouched down, picked up the shard and brought it to eye level. He wasn’t worried about it being dangerous since he had only picked it up with a clone.
He observed that the crystal seemed translucent, with a multitude of colors swirling within.
A light passed over it as the clone scanned it and sent the data to both Overdrive’s visor and Cryus’ computer.
[It seems to be the source of Pragma, but I don’t have anything about it in my database,] Cryus said.
Overdrive continued looking at the crystal for a while before muttering, "A Primagen Ingredient."
[What?] Cyrus asked in confusion.
"It’s one of the ingredients the Argent Ring uses to make Primagens," the hero explained as he stood back up, "the compound they use to force awakening."
[That’s possible?] The agent asked, his surprise evident in his tone.
"Yes, but the chances of success are one in every one thousand," Overdrive nodded. "That’s the only reason the Ring doesn’t have enough awakened humans to overrun the HA."
Cyrus went silent for a moment as he processed the information before asking, [Does the HA know about this?]
"Most likely," the hero responded, "but they won’t make a move against the Argent Ring because of Ouroborus."
[I see,] the agent nodded, [then will Zero —]
The agent didn’t get the chance to finish his words when Overdrive cut him off, "Zero is not a hero."
"He only got in the Ring’s path because he was hired to do so," the hero continued, "besides that, he has no interest in interfering with the Ring."
[I feel it’s a bit too late for that,] Cyrus said with a chuckle.
"Yeah," Overdrive responded, letting out a sigh, "they’re probably having a meeting right now to figure out how to get rid of me."
He then put the crystal in one of the pouches on his utility belt before turning around. "I guess that’s all for now."
Perhaps he’d finally be able to figure out what Pragma is through those crystals and perhaps even be able to recreate it, rather than having to rely on his Pragma battery.
[Yeah,] Cyrus responded, [the HA’s forensic team just arrived.]
"Then I should probably leave before they start asking questions," he said before jumping straight through the hole, landing in the tunnel again.

Meanwhile, in an unknown location, a man stood at the very top of a building with a small smile on his face.
He had a hand in his pocket with another dismissed what seemed to be a holographic screen, one that previously displayed both overdrive and Liam.
"With this, the stage for our second act is set," he said, satisfaction evident in his voice.
He then lifted his hand to the side, and the space in that direction suddenly shattered like glass. What appeared to be a purple, swirling rift could be seen beyond the crack.
The man then walked towards the rift, and before he disappeared, he said,
"Let’s hope you’re stronger the next time we meet, Liam."
