"What are you doing?" Lea asked as she walked out of her room.

Her older brother, Liam, was leaning against the floor-to-ceiling glass with both arms folded and his gaze fixed outside.

His attention was pulled towards her, causing him to just smile and say, "the sun kiss technique."

"Huh?" Lea let out in confusion.

"It’s quite a powerful technique," Liam explained, "but I still haven’t perfected it yet."

"..." Lea looked at her brother speechlessly.

There were truly times when she couldn’t understand him at all.

Liam chuckled, seeing the confusion before switching the topic, "Are you ready?"

"I am!" Eli suddenly rushed out of his room, dressed in casual black clothes, similar to his older siblings.

Unlike the past few years, Lea and Liam didn’t seem down today, and their cheerful mood naturally rubbed off on Eli.

After all, today was the death anniversary of their parents, and as they had done the previous years, they would pay a visit to their graves today.

Usually, although the former Liam managed to show them a smile, it would be very obvious that he was feeling down.

"Alright then," Liam turned towards the door, "let’s go."

"The taxi’s already here?" Lea asked in surprise.

"Nope," Liam answered as he dug into his pockets and pulled out a fob, "I’ll be driving."

Lea looked at him for a while, waiting for him to say that he was joking, but even after a few minutes, his expression did not change, so she couldn’t help but ask,

"Do you even have a license?"

"No, but we’ll be fine," he answered with a smile, "besides, if we get caught, I’ll just tell them we know Detective Riley."

With that, he walked towards the door with an excited Eli and a speechless Lea behind him.

The trio soon reached Liam’s new car, and the eyes of the two immediately widened.

Liam let out an exhausted sigh as he looked at the vehicle. In order to avoid being his chauffeur again, Sable had informed him this morning that he had provided his own vehicle.

Apparently, it had been delivered the previous night, with the fob stuffed in his clothes, but he hadn’t realized because he had been unconscious.

What he didn’t expect, though, was a supercar.

It was a black, low-to-the-ground type of car, one that was definitely designed by someone who had beef with speed limits.

Now, Liam wasn’t exactly a car enthusiast, but even he knew that this wasn’t an ordinary car.

It seemed his agent had taken a liking to him.

With a chuckle, he said, "Get in."

He then walked towards the driver’s seat and waited until his siblings were in the car before starting it.

The car let out a low growl as Liam pulled it out of the parking lot and eased into the highway.

***

They spent a few minutes on the highway before reaching their destination.

The three silently stood in front of two tombstones with the names David Bennett and Catherine Bennett engraved on them.

Eli sat in front of the grave and muttered, "Hey Mom and Dad, we brought some flowers."

He then rested the flowers in front of the tombstones before going silent again.

Unlike Liam and Lea, he hadn’t spent much time with his parents, and even his memory of them was a bit foggy.

But he clearly recalled their warmth.

Lea, on the other hand, had a lot to say to the two...but most of all, she wanted to let them know that they were doing fine.

Liam simply wanted to apologize for taking over their son’s body, even though he still had no idea how.

They remained silent for a while before Liam suddenly felt a gaze from behind him.

He immediately turned around, only to notice that there was no one there... well, almost no one.

Liam frowned but said nothing; instead, they stayed in front of the grave for a while before it was time to leave.

"See you later, Mom, Dad," Eli said as they walked back towards the car.

"Is something wrong?" Lea asked, noticing his expression.

"Someone’s following us," Liam said without a change in his expression, "Take Eli to the car; I’ll catch up."

Lea seemed to want to say something, but his expression made her go silent as she caught up to Eli and the two quickly got into the car.

Liam suddenly turned around, noticing again that no one was behind the ...but this time he didn’t turn back; instead, he took a couple of steps forward.

He then extended his hand, seemingly grabbing thin air, but the next second, the sound of someone choking could be heard.

"W-wait," someone spoke up, though there was still no one where his hand was.

"Why are you following us?" Liam....no, Zero asked.

If he got an answer that he was unsatisfied with, then he’d simply snap the person’s neck, whoever they were.

It was also a good thing that the person was invisible, which meant that his siblings wouldn’t understand what was happening until the person reappeared.

"I-I just want to talk," the person said, but seeing as the kid’s hand wasn’t loosening up, he desperately let out, "I worked with your parents!"

Liam frowned, but he finally released the person, and he heard as they gasped for air.

"So, is there a reason you’re remaining invisible?" He asked.

"T-they’re keeping an eye on you three, so I can’t risk them finding out I got in contact with you," the person answered, "but I promise I mean no harm."

Liam placed a hand on his chin.

If this stalker, who claimed to know their parents, had been hiding all this time just to meet them, then it could only mean one thing.

His parents’ deaths were definitely more than a mere accident.

And perhaps... they had been far more than they had ever let their children see.

"How exactly did you intend to talk to us if you were just going to remain invisible?" He asked, and the person seemed to turn flustered.

"W-well, I was hoping to follow you into the car and slip in the moment Eli and Lea were getting in."

"..." The person was silent for a while before adding, "but now that I say it out loud, it sounds like a terrible plan."

"No shit," Liam said with a frown on his face, wondering if this person truly knew their parents or if it was just a random idiot.

Still, he decided to give them a chance. "If you really want to talk, go to the coffee shop by Westfield. I’ll be there in twenty minutes."

"Alright," the person said, and with that, Liam walked back to the car and got in.

"Who was it?" Lea asked the moment he got in.

Liam turned to her with a smile as he said, "Just a stalker."
