The Rogue Villager Chen Erbao

At 11:30 AM, the three of them finally arrived at the scenic area.

The rafting area was deep in the mountains. The road was smooth, the air was fresh, and the temperature was cool and pleasant—a perfect place to escape the summer heat!

After reaching the area, Ivic parked the car and quickly contacted the person in charge. After a brief discussion, he walked over to Chen Erbao with a smile.

"Mr. Chen, let's go inside and have a seat. The equipment will be ready shortly."

Chen Erbao and Lin Zhiqing followed Ivic to the lounge. First, they had a meal of local, farm-style dishes. Then, they changed into life vests, grabbed their water guns and paddles, and started heading toward the rafting launch point.

Three men got out of the vehicle. The one in the lead was plain-looking, but a scar on his eyebrow gave him a sinister air.

The three of them reached the bank of the rushing river. Ivic sat in the front of the inflatable raft to paddle and take pictures for the couple, while Chen Erbao and Lin Zhiqing sat in the back, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way.

Once the tow rope was released, the raft was propelled by the current, quickly picking up speed and disappearing around a bend in the river.

It was the three men who had been following them all along.

The plain-looking man sat in the front, with the two burly men in the back. Strangely, the three of them weren't playing around or laughing; their expressions were slightly serious.

Chen Erbao noticed them, and a sense of vigilance rose within him.

The three were wearing very thick life vests, and their clothes were bulging strangely underneath.

The men quickly pulled up alongside Chen Erbao's raft. The two vessels floated side-by-side down the river.
