The Sky Was Never Young: Vampire System Apocalypse

While closing his eyes slowly, Cassian fell unconscious due to her vampire bite and slowly said, "Al- lis- s- ". Then he completely fainted and also lost his balance during her hug.

The moment he fainted, Alissa opened her arms wide, and Cassian fell, lying helplessly on the ground. Alissa’s eyes were completely red, and she laughed like a maniac while holding her own neck tightly. The scene was very horrific and weird; it seemed like she was fighting herself and was trying to kill the creature that got inside her.

"AAHAHAHA HAHAHAAAHA-" (Alissa laughed uncontrollably).

She suddenly stopped laughing and, with a straight face, walked out of the main gate, like a robot, showing no emotion. She walked towards the front of her house (where her own window was), and from there she picked up the earlier small glass shot (the medicine that was supposed to be inserted into a syringe) that was kept there by Cassian’s vampire mom.

She walked with that thing back towards the main gate, where Cassian was fainted with the rucksack beside him. She sat on the ground there, opened the rucksack, and started throwing all the stuff out of it one by one. At the end, she found a syringe kit in the first aid corner of the rucksack.

She laughed again like a maniac, looking at the syringe kit, "HAHAHAHA-". After that, she picked up that medicine (glass-shot) and sucked it out into the syringe via the needle. As soon as the syringe filled with that medicine, her arms straightened and she suddenly engulfed that in the side part of her neck with a force.

The needle pierced through her skin, and her blood came out. Then she started pressing the plunger flange slowly to insert that medicine into her body from that part of her neck. Tears fell out of her eyes, but still she was laughing like a psychopath while doing that to herself.

Something unreal happened: the blood that was coming out of her turned glittery maroon in color.

After she inserted the whole dose into her, she stood up straight like a robot and started walking into her own house. As she went into the living room, she saw a glass-like, royal-looking pink and golden combined case, which was like a little wallet, as there were too many velvet-clothed, painted with a horrific vampire aesthetic, currency-like things kept in it. Also, there were some golden coins with the painting of the same horrific vampire-like creature on them.

Alissa took the glass wallet and went out of the house again, walking like a robot. As soon as she reached the main gate, she held Cassian’s hand and dragged him onto the main road as she walked.

A few minutes passed away, and she was still dragging Cassian like that while walking towards a supermarket. Cassian had fainted, so he was not able to feel the pain that he got from the friction of the ground on his back.

She entered the supermarket along with him, and on the counter she said with a straight face, "Give me the life sacrament!"

The supermarket worker had black eyes; he walked like a robot towards a shelf without saying anything and picked up the same small glass shot from before. After that, he came back towards Alissa, who was standing on the counter, and then handed her that dose like it was a very common thing. She took that syringe shot, and one of the workers there came to her with a syringe and a needle. She took the syringe kit from him and started making a dose for Cassian right there.

Cassian regained consciousness on time. He slowly opened his eyes with a scrunch, lying down on the supermarket’s floor. His skin was peeled completely on the back of his body, and his arms and neck were hurting so badly that he was about to shout from the pain that he felt all at once. But he controlled his scream. His eyes were glancing continuously at Alissa, who was responsible for his condition. He saw that she was holding a syringe and filling it with the medicine from earlier.

He knew she was not his Alissa, but was a very horrific creature who was going to kill his real self forever. He wanted to shout for the betrayal, scream for the pain, cry for the loss, as he was filled with all types of emotion at once. But he knew that could be worse if he wanted to save himself. He noticed a thing: even after his eyes were open and he made a few moves, Alissa didn’t notice him when she was busy making the syringe shot. To confirm his theory, he kicked the shelf that was reaching to the end of his leg after collecting his inner survival instincts.

*THUD- SMASH-* (the shelf fell on the ground along with a few ketchup bottles, which broke instantly with a loud smash. This made a very sharp noise in the whole store).

Surprisingly, no one came; everything remained the same as if nothing had happened. There were three vampires in the supermarket at that time: the first one was the cashier, the second one was a worker, and the last one was none other than Alissa. The cashier was counting the velvet cloth-like thing, which was maybe a currency. The worker was organizing the shelf with weird items that no human had seen before, and Alissa was preparing the syringe shot. None of them noticed the most noticeable thing that happened.

Cassian was a great problem solver, creative-minded, and a top student at his school. He was not an average human. He used his genius idea to test his prediction, and after he saw a chance, he made the move as soon as possible. He stood, staggering, but managed to run out of that supermarket even in the presence of those creatures. The best thing was that none of them followed him.

He went into a vehicle garage a few meters away from the supermarket and, after watching, no one was there; he stepped into that garage and pulled the front shutter down to hide himself there. He murmured to himself with pain, "Aahh! How can I even live like this? I have no reason at all". Tears fell from his eyes as soon as he said this, and he lay on the garage floor in pain. He managed to open his T-shirt in that position and started to clear the blood from his wounds with the inner part of that T-shirt. His blood was all over the floor and the T-shirt.

"Vampires can’t multitask; they drink blood, they attack humans, they use syringe medication when they are fully converted, they have their own currency, moreover they have green blood? Black eyes? Alissa’s red eyes?What am I supposed to do! What is- happen- " cried Cassian out loud in pain, writhing all over the ground.

A person came from the back door of the garage with a straight face; his eyes were totally black. As soon as Cassian noticed him, the creature came running towards him with a horrific smile on its face and a metal wrench in its hand. It was very late now, as Cassian had not checked the back of the garage before closing the front shutter.

The creature came closer and jumped where Cassian was lying (proceeding to jump on him to attack him).
