Chapter 198: Chapter 199: Motorboat

In the car, Aunt Rong was laughing so hard her whole body trembled.

Her mood had swung from angry to happy in just a few minutes.

When Aunt Rong laughed, it was a truly magnificent sight, and Li Yang found himself staring, mesmerized.

"Still staring?" Aunt Rong said with a hint of pride, but she quickly followed it with a huff. "Since you behaved yourself this time, I’ll reluctantly agree to your proposal."

Li Yang was ecstatic. "Thank you, Aunt Rong," he said immediately.

Aunt Rong shot him a look. "Just look at you."

Li Yang chuckled and suddenly asked, "Aunt Rong, are you not working on anything right now?"

"What do you mean? Don’t I have a few shops to run?" Aunt Rong retorted.

Li Yang chuckled, a new idea suddenly striking him. "Aunt Rong, what if we opened a private wellness clinic?"

"A what?" Aunt Rong was confused, having no idea what he was talking about.

"Look, after meeting your friends, I think they’re in real need of private wellness care. It could help prevent them from getting sick. I don’t want to make a ton of money with my medical skills, but selling medicinal wine, or pills to help women regulate their systems... I think I can do that. After all, it’s not a matter of life and death. If we opened a small clinic like this, don’t you think my business would do well?"

Aunt Rong was dumbfounded.

"Don’t be ridiculous," Aunt Rong said, shaking her head. "Don’t I have to help you look after your flowers? Plus, I have my own clothing boutiques."

"They don’t conflict!" Li Yang grew more excited as he spoke. "You can visit our village to check on the ingredients anytime. And you don’t need to personally manage those boutiques; you already have people watching them. You’d just have to help me watch over the clinic. What do you think?"

In truth, Aunt Rong was tempted.

Before, when Su Yunmeng had her own career, Aunt Rong had focused on running her own shops. But after Su Yunmeng was harmed, she’d closed most of them, keeping only the clothing boutiques so she could dedicate herself to caring for her.

Now that Su Yunmeng had recovered, she no longer needed to be looked after. This left Aunt Rong with a lot of free time on her hands.

"So, Aunt Rong? What do you think?" Li Yang watched her. "Just think it over."

Aunt Rong shot him a look. "Just drive me home. We’ll talk about this again."

Judging by her tone, she was already tempted. Li Yang grinned. "Alright, I’ll take you home first. You give it some serious thought."

After dropping Aunt Rong off, Li Yang headed back to the village.

His next task was to prepare the medicine for the women.

The next day, the material delivery arrived. Li Yang had Li Dajiang and Li Jianzhong take care of it while he went to the small clinic to prepare the medicine.

He gathered all the herbs and began to decoct them, a very time-consuming process.

Once that was done, Li Yang had to start forming the medicinal liquid into pellets.

It had to be said, the stuff wasn’t easy to make, but the key thing was that it worked.

Two days later, Li Yang had finished making everything.

That same day, the man who sold him the jet skis called. He told Li Yang they had been delivered to the village and that he should come receive them.

Li Yang immediately called Gao Xin Xue to go check them out with him.

"Boss Li..." The seller rushed forward to shake Li Yang’s hand the moment he saw him, his face filled with excitement. "It’s incredible! My... My body feels so much better."

Li Yang laughed and patted the man’s shoulder, saying in a low voice, "Don’t worry. It won’t be long before your wife gets pregnant."

"If she really does get pregnant, I’ll give you two more of these on the house."

Li Yang simply smiled and expressed his thanks.

Once the five jet skis were unloaded, the seller left.

"Wow, you work fast!" Gao Xin Xue remarked, clicking her tongue. "You got these jet skis here in no time."

"You’re mistaken, Sister Gao. I’m not fast at all," Li Yang replied with a completely straight face.

When Gao Xin Xue caught his meaning, she snapped, "Oh, get lost."

Li Yang just chuckled, walking over to inspect one of the jet skis. "Sister Gao, want to go for a spin? I can take you for a tour of the lake."

"Can you even drive one of these?" she asked. But gazing out at the vast, azure lake, it would be a lie to say she wasn’t tempted.

But Gao Xin Xue was a bit skeptical of his skills.

"It’s fine!" Li Yang grinned. "The seller included some life vests. Worst case scenario, we flip over and take a bath in the lake."

That was all it took for Gao Xin Xue to agree. "Fine, then. But you’d better drive carefully."

"Don’t worry!" Li Yang hauled one down to the shore, pushed it into the water, and got on first.

Gao Xin Xue put on her life vest, sat down behind him, and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.

"Sister Gao, what’s that pressing against me...?" Li Yang began to say.

Gao Xin Xue froze for a moment. "Nothing is?"

"Up here!" Li Yang said.

Gao Xin Xue’s face suddenly flushed red as she realized what he meant. "Just drive the boat and stop talking so much nonsense."

Li Yang’s eyes lit up as he seemed to put two and two together. "So they’re that big?"

"Get lost!" Gao Xin Xue snapped.

’Aren’t I big? Didn’t you already find that out when you massaged me last time?’

Li Yang just chuckled and finally sent the jet ski speeding across the surface of the lake.
