Chapter 41: Chapter 42: Treating an Illness Again

Li Yang was completely bewildered. ’What the hell does this have to do with me!’

Just then, with a soft THUD, something else hit her on the head.

"WOOF WOOF..." The two dogs looked up and began barking frantically at whatever was above them.

"A monkey!" Qin Susu finally got a clear look and said to Li Yang.

Li Yang looked up and saw that there was indeed a monkey perched above, throwing wild fruit at Qin Susu.

"You damn monkey! How dare you hit me! Dahuang, Big Black, go get it!" Qin Susu shouted, pointing at the monkey.

Dahuang and Big Black barked wildly, but there was nothing they could do. They couldn’t climb the tree.

Just then, the monkey suddenly leaped toward Qin Susu.

It leaped at a peculiar angle, landing right on her chest. With a loud RIP, the monkey tore a piece from the front of her T-shirt, revealing the pale, full curve beneath.

"Ah!" Qin Susu shrieked. "You damn monkey, you’re bullying me too! You pervy monkey!"

He went to a shop that sold feed mills. After looking around, he found a model he liked. "How much for this one?"

"Sir, are you buying this for home use?" a pretty saleswoman asked as she approached.

"That’s right," Li Yang nodded. "I just need one."

"This one is five thousand eight hundred," the saleswoman said with a smile. "If you’d like, we can arrange for delivery."

Five thousand eight hundred was within his budget.

"Alright. I’m in Gaodi Town, which is a bit far. I’ll write down the specific address for you." Li Yang paid for the machine and wrote down his address.

"What are you doing!" a teenager suddenly stepped in his way, trying to push him back. "Get out of the way. Don’t touch her."

"He’s my friend!" Qin Susu shot to her feet and pointed at the teenager. "Qin Song, don’t you touch him!"

"Your friend?" Qin Song sneered. "Grandma is sick. This is a job for doctors, not just some random person. If something goes wrong, are you going to take responsibility for it?"

"He is a doctor!" Qin Susu said, her face cold. "Now get out of the way."

"Let’s get one thing straight," a strikingly beautiful woman in her thirties said, clearing her throat as she stepped forward. "Mother-in-law is in this condition. We have nothing to say about what the hospital’s doctors do. But if this person you’ve brought in causes any problems, you’ll take full responsibility, correct?"

Li Yang understood. ’This must be Qin Susu’s stepmother.’

’She’s actually quite beautiful,’ he thought.
