"Manager Liu, I’m going to find Director Mai right now. If I can really pull this off, I hope you’ll consider my offer." After speaking, Li Yang turned and left.

"Idiot. Ignorant little peasant!" President Zhang shook his head disdainfully.

"He’s going to try and snatch your deal. Aren’t you going to follow him?" Liuwan said, unable to stand his arrogance.

"Didn’t you want to snatch my deal too, Manager Liu? And did you succeed?" President Zhang scoffed. "Who the hell does he think he is?"

Liuwan was instantly at a loss for words.

He sped all the way in his car and finally arrived at Mai Hao’s house.

He entered the courtyard and saw several people sitting in the main hall.

"Director Mai!" said a man in his sixties with a resonant voice, addressing a middle-aged man in his forties. "Your mother’s condition is indeed quite tricky. A stroke, after all, requires a good amount of time. How about this: I’ll prescribe her some medicine and perform acupuncture. If we stick with it for a year or so, she should recover."

"Thank you so much, Divine Doctor Cao!" Mai Hao said, his face full of gratitude.

A hint of warmth appeared on Mai Hao’s face. "That’s very thoughtful of her."

"I’m a village doctor," Li Yang said.
