The System Keeps Making Me Do Indecent Missions [BL, R18]
Chapter 83: Unspoken SolaceChapter 83: Chapter 83: Unspoken Solace
And it made perfect sense; after all, Lucien was now living in this body, with this flesh and blood, and these memories.
How could he remain completely indifferent?
"Do not be sad anymore." Lucien murmured softly: "I will help you deal with that family, so rest in peace."
Dominic Vance walked back inside, bringing with him a gust of cold air from the balcony. Seeing that Lucien was twisting the hem of his own shirt, the older man sat down beside him and grasped his hand.
"Do not worry too much, I have already sent people to take care of it."
Lucien looked up at the man, his eyes still brimming with tears. He parted his lips as if to say something, but ultimately just gave a small nod and lowered his head again.
Dominic Vance did not let go of his hand.
That night, Lucien lay alone in his room, staring up at the pitch-black ceiling. His phone had been confiscated by Dominic Vance, so he could no longer go online to monitor the situation.
Even so, Lucien felt that it was not entirely necessary to keep such a close eye on things. Now that Dominic Vance had intervened, he had no need to worry much. It was just a bit boring not having a phone to play with.
[Ding!]
Right at this moment, the familiar sound rang out in his head once more.
[Side Quest: Console the host after a mental shock. Reward: 30 flexibility points for the next intimate encounter.]
Lucien closed his eyes, then opened them. He stared at the ceiling, the corners of his lips twitching slightly.
"What kind of nonsense are you making up this time? What do you mean by console? It is obvious you just want me to sleep with him."
[The host may refuse the side quest. However, the flexibility points will help the host’s body endure better during future intimate encounters. It is highly recommended to complete it.]
Lucien scoffed in his mind. Say what you will, but this system was only good at concocting schemes to force him into doing dirty deeds.
"What good will your thirty flexibility points do for me?"
[In case things go overboard, it will prevent bodily harm, allowing you to get out of bed normally the next day.]
"Even now, I can still get out of bed normally after sleeping with the guy!"
[Who knows what could happen.]
"Damn you."
Lucien cursed the system out, yet he still sat up, messed up his hair just enough to look slightly disheveled, and walked out of the room.
The lights in Dominic Vance’s room were still on. The golden glow spilled through the gap under the door, creating a thin streak of light across the hallway floor.
Indeed, tonight Dominic Vance had unexpectedly pretended to be a perfect gentleman, telling Lucien to go back to his own room to sleep. Either he was bored of their romantic games, or perhaps his kidneys were weak from too much sex, leaving him unable to get it up today.
Well, there was nothing to be done; that damn system had issued a quest, and Lucien could only comply. And so, he stood before the door, took a deep breath, and knocked gently.
"Come in."
Lucien pushed the door open and stepped inside. Dominic Vance was sitting on the bed, his back leaning against the headboard, holding a thick stack of documents in his hands. He was shirtless, with only a thin blanket draped loosely over his hips, revealing a solid upper body with well-defined muscular contours under the golden light.
Seeing him walk in, Dominic Vance looked up and raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Cannot sleep?"
Lucien stood at the door, his hands twisting together, his eyes cast down at the floor. He did not answer the question directly, but merely mumbled, "I... I cannot sleep. Can I stay with you for a while?"
Dominic Vance observed him for a moment. The man’s gaze swept across his face, lingering on his eyes, which were still slightly swollen.
Then, he beckoned with his hand.
Lucien did not wait for the older man to say another word, quickly stepping up to the bed. He climbed up and slipped under the covers, curling his entire body up like a little kitten seeking warmth. The faint scent of body wash lingering on Dominic Vance instantly enveloped him, exuding a cold yet familiar aura.
Dominic Vance set the stack of documents down on the bedside table and turned off the light. Darkness fell, leaving only a faint glimmer from the nightlight casting shadows upon a corner of the wall.
Lucien felt the man’s body shift on the mattress, and then an arm wrapped around his waist, pulling him tight against his chest. The warmth from Dominic’s body transferred over to him, rising slowly like a gentle tide.
"Dominic..." Lucien whispered, his voice quivering: "Please do not abandon me... I am so scared..."
Dominic Vance did not reply, but the arm encircling the young man’s waist tightened a fraction. Then, suddenly, the man leaned down and pressed a very light kiss to the top of his head.
After that, everything progressed naturally.
Perhaps initially, Dominic Vance had wanted Lucien to rest for the night, but the sight of the youth nestling in his embrace, gazing at him with red-rimmed eyes, made it impossible for him to hold back. A young man was full of vigorous vitality, and matters of the bed were inherently difficult to restrain.
Not to mention Dominic Vance’s special circumstances.
The man’s hand slid from Lucien’s waist, glided up his back, and then descended to his hips. His fingers trailed over the young man’s skin through the thin fabric of his sleepwear, slow and purposeful, as if he were drawing a map on Lucien’s body that only he could decipher.
Lucien put up no resistance. He looked up, gazing at the man with watery eyes in the dark. He reached out to wrap his arms around Dominic’s neck, pulling him closer, and took the initiative to press a kiss against his lips.
