The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2303: Don’t Mention SCI Research Achievements Outside Anymore

"So, the achievements Zevaney Kingsley published in the semiconductor field were stolen from my mother’s notebook records."

"You didn’t want me to agree to her application at first because you were worried she would exploit the contents of the notebook later to win against me by deceit."

Nicholas Fuller knew she was exceptionally intelligent, but he didn’t expect Nathalie Quinlan to be more clever than he imagined. He hadn’t said anything, yet Nathalie already knew everything.

Even his inner thoughts were all clear to her.

Nicholas gave a rueful smile and said, "Sorry, I couldn’t protect your mom’s research results."

"She’s someone from The First Research Institute. The institute should be responsible for protecting her results. But I really have no evidence to prove Zevaney Kingsley stole these achievements."

Nicholas’s face was full of guilt, unable to face the girl in front of him, he spoke in a low tone, "I’ve contacted her privately and also warned her not to cross the line again."

"But no one is willing to let go easily in the face of immense temptation, much less someone like Zevaney Kingsley." Nicholas shook his head restlessly, having no good solution to the current situation.

Nathalie lowered her head, slowly took out her phone, and sent a message. She then looked up and said to Nicholas, "It’s okay, I’ll resolve this matter."

*

Outside The First Research Institute.

Zevaney Kingsley was just opening the car door, not having had time to get in.

Nathan Garland caught up behind her, a serious expression blocking her way, and said, "What did you just say to Nathalie Quinlan?"

Zevaney didn’t expect him to chase after her to ask about this matter. Her heart was displeased, but she didn’t show it: "I just said a few things casually to her."

Nathan’s eyes seemed to hold knives, looking at her briefly, then releasing his grip, and coldly said, "I advise you not to provoke her."

"You’re at a critical moment now, and if you provoke her, it won’t end well for you." Nathan’s tone was unpleasant: "You couldn’t meet Mr. Martin before, and before you meet him, you’d better not stir up trouble, especially with Nathalie Quinlan."

Zevaney’s fingernails dug tightly into her flesh, and she obediently said, "I understand."

"And," Nathan, not noticing the annoyance in her eyes, continued, "from now on, mention SCI’s research results less outside."

Zevaney suddenly raised her head to see if he had discovered something.

Nathan did not avoid her gaze, looking directly at her, as if he already knew the truth behind her prominent research achievements over the past month.

Zevaney immediately lowered her head in embarrassment, gripping her hand even tighter: "Yes, teacher."

"Hmm." Nathan patted her shoulder, his tone softening slightly, and said, "Endure a little longer, endure a little longer and we will eventually trample them underfoot."

Zevaney responded obediently.

Nathan received a phone call from the laboratory and, lacking time to continue chatting, reminded her once again not to show off those research results outside.

Then, he hurried back to the institute.

After Nathan’s figure disappeared, Zevaney’s smile faded instantly, expressionlessly opening the car door and getting in, instructing the driver: "Go back."

The driver noticed her bad mood and didn’t dare say a word, immediately turning the car around and heading to Zevaney’s residence in Inderia.

...

In the following days, Zevaney was worried that Nathalie would discover something, but everything remained calm, as if the conflict they had in the office that day never happened.

Zevaney gradually let her worries go and stopped concerning herself with the SCI paper matter.
