The weight of the dead and their sorrows reloaded itself upon the chamber.

The ghostly creature was colossal, with gigantic proportions and a deep stench that discouraged anyone.

"You... Will be... My food." It reverberated with innumerable voices.

Surprisingly it had spiritual wisdom, despite its horrible aspect that resembled a small hill of corpses.

Gabriel’s brow furrowed, partly from the smell that the creature gave off and its difficulty to kill. He had already verified the subtleties of the phantasmagoric path, with his previous unfortunate victims.

**Its capacities are enveloped in the mystery of death. Attacking the spirit and the physical alike.**

It was a strange idea, but unfortunately real. Certain mechanisms within the game converted special attacks into effects that resembled spirit damage.

Disorientation, hallucinations, loss of reason.

They were special skills that belonged to unique creatures. The ghosts, very rare at that stage of the game, were part of the list.

Spirits, demons, beings of the forest, etc.

At that instant, the monster began to chew provoking noises of exploding meat with rotten juices. Releasing a shuddering howl.

His posture trembled, with his eardrums vibrating with a terrible pain. His vision had practically darkened for thousandths of seconds, with his forehead pulsing.

The real danger of those circumstances resided in those moments, where life and death were decided in seconds. Getting lost by a slight error of intelligence or saving oneself by a small fortune.

In an instant he moved, disappearing among the shadows. His ears still vibrated. Rapidly utilizing some corks for soundproofing, that were stored in his inventory.

He was always prepared for those unforeseen events.

From the penumbra he observed with clarity the behavior of the monster, who roared without sense mounting in rage. It seemed a giant baby. Only that it was horrible.

From its body pieces of decomposed flesh began to detach that rapidly took form.

They were minions.

The soldiers that were employed to defend the legion, which was the same source, the giant ghost. And they were as numerous as small scattered seeds.

The information shone before his eyes.

[Cursed Body]

[Level 28]

[Cursed creatures tied to the body of a master, recovering a primitive consciousness through the soul of a vile criminal and the flesh of corpses. Extremely brutal and little intelligent]

______________

"Slaves... Pursue the vicious... Bring his fresh flesh." Pronounced with difficulties the giant ghost among gurgles.

It wanted to consume the vitality of Gabriel and achieve it through the sacrifice of innumerable minions. A cruel but efficient strategy.

But it never was in its calculations the particularity of its prey: the multitudes benefited him. With an unmatched power among his equals, he could provoke unilateral massacres and consume their essences.

"The fat one will be the most difficult to kill." He murmured through his teeth, with an imperturbable expression.

The curtain opened, with the spectacle of the Jester open for the maniac.

He moved like a maddened vortex, making honor to his title Blood Tempest. Dealing fatal blows over the confused cursed enemies.

They had not even understood their purpose on the battlefield, without spotting Gabriel who hid among the shadows, when their casualties began to take effect.

First it was one, when its chest opened and the putrid water shot out from its chest. The rest was a domino effect that reached them rapidly.

Where their yellowish eyes moved, they only saw a light blackish blur eliminating their peers. With deep fissures that opened in the necks or in the chests.

It was practically a unilateral massacre.

Until the giant ghost spat a strange dark mixture, that fell over its remaining minions, producing more while it howled.

Like a mother giving birth. But in a more horrifying and descriptive form.

"Kill... Intruder... The living." Murmured the creature in an indescribable scene.

The cursed corpses enveloped by the dark miasma, rapidly went mad in an instinctive rage. Their bodies bulked and the veins arose, with a dead stench extending instantaneously.

A rare transformation. They had become more dangerous.

Their numbers only multiply and it seems to turn into a foolish game that is already condemned. Only remains to attack the source. He thought while piercing from the stomach until the clavicles one of the minions.

His clothes had stained with the bloody water, losing their clean state.

And only to worsen the situation, the small demonic minions did not stop engendering. For each one of them that he assassinated, another was reborn a little time afterward.

His position little by little was being surrounded. He needed to find a blind point and break with the equilibrium.

He had an idea. Marvelous or foolish.

At that moment, the final boss prepared itself to again spit the dark miasma that maddened its cursed minions.

It was that instant or never. For the only moment where the monster seemed to lose the concentration, was upon conjuring its strange berserker spell.

He avoided the attack of one of the minions that launched itself against him, using its body to redirect its force toward the contrary side and cut its neck with a decisive slash in the throat. In a sigh, he took advantage of the remaining force and took two steps.

When he was about to be trapped in a siege by the maddened walking corpses, he gave a gigantic jump in the direction of the ghost.

The throat of the monster gurgled, with its eyes jumping from their sockets. It opened the mouth and launched an enormous dark spit that flew uncontrolled.

With the inertia, he utilized his overcoat to avoid that the miasma touched his body. But even so he saw himself affected, with his flesh sizzling in small parts.

The pain was insignificant in comparison to his plan.

Immediately he fell inside its mouth and was swallowed. Descending through the viscous throat of the creature.

Its eyes, despite its small spiritual wisdom, were confused.

Had it really achieved its purpose or had it been one of its stupid children who entered its mouth?

It could verify that the energy that had entered until its stomach, belonged to the realm of the living. With the vitality of a functional body and the attractiveness of a soul that still had a body.

"I... Will be bigger... Will be." Began to say the ghost, rejoicing of its enormous milestone.

Only the strongest survived. That was a common rule within the phantasmagoric common sense... If they had any.

But from one moment to the next its expression, previously maddened and of rejoicing, changed. There was something wrong inside it.

It sensed it from the depths of its being, like a fateful intention. There was something very, very wrong inside it.

It tried to vomit, with its body trembling from pain and confusion, limiting itself to instinctive efforts that alleviated its malaise.

Rapidly it discovered that nothing worked. Entering into an instinctive rage, proper of who seeks to save himself, until it ended.

A small fissure opened in its stomach, that expanded each time more. With a ’plop,’ the flesh opened in a grotesque spectacle.

First came out a head with a Jester’s mask.

And finally the rest of the body began to come out, with effort, as if it were abandoning the interior of an enormous gelatin. Its smell was worse than the manure.

But it was worth it. It is supposed that yes...

In a small moment of astuteness, a magnificent plan occurred to him: eliminate the objective using his advantages.

It was a mediocre plan, and probably he would have died in any other circumstance, but his mind was not so dumb.

His daggers could pierce anything. It was the winning premise on which he had based himself.

With a rapid sliding, he had finished internally with the monster. Dissecting into different parts each one of its vital organs.

Not even its four hearts had survived.

Because to move a creature so gigantic, an impressive cardiac capacity was needed.

"Not even the tomato sauce will take out this shit." He said ill-humored, with his dark expression.

There existed a small defect in his millennial plan—constructed with his old fox astuteness... The stench.

From feet to head he was totally soaked in putrid water and unknown substances. His smell was so terrible that it would even distance the flies from the cows.

"Is it dead? For the second time, of course." He murmured seeing the final boss that practically was collapsing, exhaling its last instants of consciousness.

The rest of its minions, the cursed bodies, had undone themselves in black water that now covered the ground.

It was a frightful and disgusting scene.

His skill advanced before him, absorbing the rest of the essence that belonged to the battlefield.

His spirit rejuvenated, with a strange serenity installing itself in his brow. It was really unusual.

When the ghost finally evaporated from the reality, murmuring vengeful curses, the exit doors finally opened.

But a strange book rested behind, under the dark miasma. Exactly in the place where the final boss had found its end.

He approached with alert, investigating cautiously its origin.

He discovered that it concerned a special reward. Linked to an extraordinary event and of a considerable rarity.

What was the extraordinary event? He still did not know it, but he had fulfilled its standards.

Rapidly he stored it in his inventory, reviewing superficially its title.

[Blind Moon]

"Great, now I have two books to read carefully."

He observed before him the silent doors of the end of the dungeon, with his victims scattered everywhere. He had already harvested all his benefits. A strange thought arose in his mind.

Is it the first time that I am so rapid?
