Three Divine Wishes: Yes, I'm OP!

Chapter 234: What The Future Holds (4)

Far away from the Orin Star System, the world of Leiva had been tense for eleven years, ever since the War of Great Severance had reached a long overdue conclusion.

In this world, massive trees rose like living cathedrals, their bark warm and rigid beneath any hand that touched it, trunks wide enough to house entire halls...

Canopies woven so densely that the forest floor existed in a perpetual luminous dusk of filtered gold and cooler green.

A massive golden sun hung in the sky, its warm glow spilling over the world. At the same time, beside it a green moon stayed fully visible, washing forests in an almost watery light, until the two shone and wove together into something neither day nor night was ever meant to contain.

Beyond that world, in the void itself, the main stronghold of the Celestial Moon Pantheon burned with a radiance that owed nothing to Leiva’s sun.

Spires of pale stone floated in the darkness, with no starlight to illuminate the stronghold. Yet, it still glowed brightly, as if radiating its own light.

In that moment, Sunya strolled toward the gates of the tallest spire with an easy, unhurried pace.

Over the past eleven years, her growing power had carried her into the ranks of the Cosmic Union, while time had only sharpened her already captivating features into something even more remarkable.

Her long blonde hair fell in a smooth cascade down her back; her green eyes were clear and watchful; her porcelain skin, her slim shape... all of it, maintaining her poised demeanor as always.

Two guards moved into her path and offered a polite bow, the cold touch of their armor a sharp contrast to the warm, golden light spilling from the gates behind them.

"Status, if you please."

At those words, Sunya willed her Divine ring to respond.

In an instant, a green-and-gold badge shimmered into existence, resting in her palm, its surface radiating gentle warmth and a faint, steady pulse against her skin.

Without any dramatic gesture, she raised it slightly.

"Sunya Ultos, Goddess of the Eternal Hour, Apostle of the Celestial Moon."

Hearing her status, the guards rose at once.

CREEEEAAAAKKK!!!!

The great gates parted, releasing a breath of warmer air scented with the beauty of nature.

----

At the highest peak, Nara reclined on a throne crafted from woven wood and pale gold, her long green hair cascading over one shoulder, green eyes half-lidded in serene contemplation.

She was draped in a green, robe-like blouse that flowed in loose, elegant folds.

Across from her, Amaterasu stood instead of sitting, her long white hair releasing tiny sparks of fire that drifted upward, while her piercing red eyes burned like twin supernovas.

She wore a red, robe-like blouse that mirrored Nara’s style.

"Things... have been confusing to say the least," Nara said, one hand resting along the arm of the throne while the other turned a thin ring upon her finger in a slow circle.

"I don’t understand... why would all the Pantheons retreat from Orin?" she wondered aloud.

For the past decade, they hadn’t simply forgotten about the Star System. No, they had kept a close watch on every invading Pantheon within it.

Yet only a few years after their own defeat at the hands of Akasha, they witnessed the rulers and much of their fleets abandoning the system.

It was strange—not because Akasha lacked strength, but because they knew the Pantheons of the Accord of Assimilation far too well.

They were enemies, after all.

"Tsk, maybe they achieved their goal and killed that brat," Amaterasu scoffed.

It went without saying... as the ruler of the Celestial Sun, she had a bit of a misunderstanding with Akasha.

She shook her head, the motion sending a faint wave of heat through the air, while the memory of her ruined Star System flickered behind her glowing eyes.

"I can’t believe that white-and-green-haired freak took advantage of all the time we spent at war."

She glanced at Nara, one brow raised.

"And... I’ve been meaning to ask, what kind of elf is he?"

Before Nara had a chance to reply, the doors at the far end of the chamber swung open.

Both women turned toward the sound, and Nara’s face immediately softened, the green in her eyes taking on a brighter hue, as if she were genuinely pleased by the interruption.

Her fingers, which had been absently turning the ring, came to a gentle halt.

"Little Sunya," she said, the single name carrying the unguarded affection of a mother who had been waiting.

"How are you?"

Sunya walked across the floor with deliberate, steady steps, feeling the polished stone shift from cool to warm beneath her bare feet, and offered a precise, respectful bow.

"Celestial Mother... I’ve been well, just getting used to the new reality of becoming an Apostle."

Her eyes shifted toward Amaterasu, the almost tangible heat radiating from those vivid red eyes brushing against her skin.

"Supreme Goddess."

She straightened, a quiet sigh leaving her as the last of the void’s cold seemed to leave her shoulders.

"And that guy... Lord Dream. He is definitely a White Elven God."

Amaterasu’s brow arched high at the mention of the race.

"A white Elven... God?"

The words left her in a mix of surprise and genuine confusion as her glowing gaze cut toward Nara.

Internally, the pieces refused to fit; the state of the White Elven line was not a secret among those who still remembered the old blood.

"Well... this should be impossible," She muttered, "Unless... you secretly saved a few White Elves or two?"

Nara shook her head at those words.

She didn’t have an answer, and somehow, not having one seemed to make her more delighted.

A small smile touched her mouth as she continued, fingers beginning their slow circle around the ring once more.

"Well... that is part of what makes him—Akasha... interesting."

She let the name settle between them, then took a longer breath before speaking again.

"Our plan to take the Star Cluster has already been found out. If that is the case, I think it would be a far better idea to rope him in on our side... rather than make an enemy of him."
