Sabine tried to defend herself.

Lucian and Naomi watched it all with smiles. Then Naomi looked at him, at the blood covering his body. His wounds were all healed, but the blood was still there. It was still a horrifying sight for Naomi, but seeing how Lucian fought, how he did those impossible things—

She gently held Lucian’s hand.

Lucian looked at her.

"You were amazing."

She whispered softly.

"I am, aren’t I?"

Lucian chuckled. Naomi laughed as she shook her head. Then—

"Once I help them settle the debts, I’ll give the rest to you."

"You deserve it more than I do."

Naomi didn’t have any intention of backing down.
