The plan was put into action with quiet, careful movements. Far away from where the witch guards could hear anything, the machine army took their positions. Thousands of robots and flying drones gathered around the border of the dark mountain range. Their movements were perfectly timed and silent, slowly forming a circle that closed in without making even a light sound.

Trosso and Alpha reached the edge of the area. Trosso stood on the hill, his huge body towering over the land as he looked at his target with a cold, sharp focus. He turned to Alpha, his voice a low rumble. "Start carving the earth transformation spell runes."

Alpha gave a quick nod. It sent out a silent, coded signal through the network. The robots nearby sat down together, their hands moving with incredible speed to cut complicated shapes into the hard rock at the base of the mountain. Trosso walked to the middle of the group and opened an old, dry scroll. He held his hand over it, sending a burst of magical energy through it.

As soon as the drawings were finished, a pale yellow light lit up the area. The result happened instantly: the solid, rocky ground below these diagram runes shook, its structure breaking down and turning into soft, moving sand. Trosso then raised both hands, and the sand began to swirl around in a spinning circle. Behind him, the drones sped up, their shapes changing... their noses stretched out, turning into spinning diamond-tipped drills. They dived into the sand, moving silently without leaving any sign behind. The robots followed them, sinking into the earth like ghosts.

Trosso and Alpha stepped into the small pool of sand Trosso had made. As they sank, Trosso used a hand gesture, and the sand rushed back in, closing the hole behind them. The scroll in his hand burst into white-hot flames and turned to ash. Up on the surface, the remaining sand smoothed over, hardening immediately. The mountain range looked perfectly normal, with all signs of the invasion erased from history.

Deep under the ground, the drones split into two separate, well-planned teams: one group bored toward the cave entrances, while the other tunneled directly toward the underground city.

Inside the winding cave tunnels, the witch guards were keeping watch. They were thin, human-like figures with dark, smooth skin and flat noses. Their eyes were solid black pupils that seemed to soak up the dim light, and they had sensitive slits instead of ears. They wore nothing, only dark scales covering their chests and other private parts. One guard, a witch with a snake-like tongue that flicked in and out, stopped her patrol. She tilted her head, her dark eyes widening as she leaned against the wall, pressing her slit like ear to the stone. She was listening to the strange whirring sound coming from the other side of the wall.

Before she could figure out the sound of the drone drilling on the other side, with a friction sound. A blade with deadly sharpness popped out from the wall piercing through her head. Blue blood sizzled on the blade surface and then it was retracted inside the wall.

Thud!

The witch fell, her dark blue blood sizzling as if touched the rocks and mud below, the poison eating away at the surface. At the same time, a laser cutter made a clean, round hole in the wall. A drone and a heavy robot climbed through, working as a team. This same thing happened all through the tunnels; the witches were taken out with sudden, violent force before they could even sound the alarm.

One of the witch guard managed to notice the intruders. She did not scream; instead, her jaw opened wide, showing wide cave like mouth and a sharp, snake-like tongue. She hissed, making a musical, high-pitched noise... a sonic magical attack... aimed straight at the robot coming toward her.

The robot did not move out of the way. It lifted its arm, the armguard changing shape into a round cylindrical housing with three square shape vibrating plates on the front. As the witch’s sound hit, the plates on the robot vibrated at a speed that nothing could stop. An invisible, cutting wave of energy reflected out from the device, with much higher intensity than the witch's voice.

The witch froze while she was mid-hiss. A loud sound of breaking bones filled the air as she collapsed. Blue blood sprayed from her eyes, ears, and nose as the sonic blast shattered her body from the inside. The robot put its arm down, the device sliding back into its forearm. It walked over to the body and scanned what was left: the eyes, ears, and lungs had been destroyed, and her entire system was torn apart by tiny, invisible cuts. The robot recorded the data, marked the kill as finished, and turned toward the tunnel leading deeper into the earth, with the drone already leading the way.

The group of flying drone scouts had successfully finished off all the guards in the tunnels. They pushed ahead quickly as the long underground hallways finally came to an end.

Meanwhile, the main army, which was led by Trosso and Alpha, cut a large hole through the hard rock wall of the cave. This created a wide opening that looked over the huge, hidden space down below them. Trosso walked through the hole. His large, vertical lizard eyes moved quickly to get used to the bright light that he did not expect to see.

He stopped walking and kept his figure very still. He had expected to find a wet and dark underground area, but he was completely wrong. Instead, a whole city was spread out in front of him. The buildings were made of tall, rough pillars made of shiny, reflective stone. It was a city built underground. It was lit up by a soft, glowing light. This faint light was enough for his sharp, powerful eyes to clearly see every single bridge, house, and balcony.

"Alpha," Trosso said. He spoke in a very quiet voice, almost just a whisper in the large, loud cave. Alpha stood right next to him. It connected right away to the network of drones in the area. A picture made of light and colors appeared in the air between them. It showed live video of everything happening across the city and all of the movement of witch tribe. Trosso watched without showing any feelings as the video showed the witches moving smoothly in and out of the stone pillars. "Start the attack," Trosso ordered.

Alpha’s arms pulled back. Its metal plates slid and locked into place. They changed shape and turned into two sonic weapons. The order to attack went out to all the machines in the group. All over the city, thousands of drones changed their shape. Their square bodies grew long and turned into smooth, tube-like cylinders. They had three heavy plates that could send out high frequency sonic attacks. They began to float forward, with ground robots moving right next to them.

The weapons worked together perfectly at the same time. The three plates on these weapons vibrated at an unimaginable speed. This did not just make the air shake; it vibrated the very small particles of everything around them. An invisible, cutting wave of frequency shot out in a round circle. It spread over the whole city, washing over everything in a silence that felt like the horror filled silence of a graveyard.

The witches realized they were being attacked, but it was too late. Thousands of them ran out from the pillars. Their instincts were telling them to defend themselves. But when they hit the edge of the sound wave, their bodies did not turn into shadows as they should have after merging with the darkness. Instead, their shapes flickered and broke apart.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

They fell down one by one while running. Their internal organs turned to liquid instantly, and blood sprayed out from their eyes, noses, mouths and other body parts. They couldn't even release any sound. Even the witches in the back realized that their ethnics were being killed. They tried to use their own magic sound attacks. But their songs were negated by the reflection and any other sound they produced was sucked away into nothingness.
