Chapter 278: Chapter 278: How Should I Thank You?

It had been an exhausting day for Wang Chenning. After he got back, he exchanged some messages with Zhao Xiao’an, Yang Xiaofei, and Yang Xiaofu about a few things before going to sleep.

Zhao Xiao’an didn’t go into detail. She just said that upon her return, she went straight to her office to sort things out.

She was tired today and wanted to get a good rest. She would visit her parents and grandfather tomorrow.

Zhao Xiao’an, Yang Xiaofu, and Yang Xiaofei all knew the outcome of the incident with the South Korean thugs. They were reasonably satisfied with the result.

After a good night’s sleep, Wang Chenning followed Luo Yuqing’s instructions and went to see Li Fuzhen early in the morning.

Li Fuzhen had previously instructed her staff that Wang Chenning was to have free access during the course of her treatment.

Given Li Fuzhen’s orders, her staff naturally didn’t stop Wang Chenning from entering.

When Wang Chenning gently pushed the door open and stepped into Li Fuzhen’s bedroom, she was already awake.

"Let me examine you," Wang Chenning said, gesturing for her to lie down properly.

Li Fuzhen hesitated for just a moment, then calmly complied.

Wang Chenning performed a thorough examination.

A short while later, Wang Chenning said with a smile, "The results are even better than I expected. It seems the theory has withstood the test of practice!"

Although Wang Chenning’s examination was professional, after what had happened last night, Li Fuzhen felt completely different today.

"Little brother, can you... reinforce the treatment for me?" she asked in a soft voice.

Wang Chenning’s hands continued their examination, but his smile was infuriatingly smug. "If you need it, then I suppose I can force myself to oblige!"

The exchange group was scheduled to leave Seoul on a flight around 5 p.m. for Tokyo.

Around noon, Li Fuzhen called Wang Chenning on her own initiative, saying she would come to see him in a little while.

Since Wang Chenning was leaving, she had prepared a gift for him and hoped he would accept it.

"I’ll be waiting, then!" Wang Chenning did not refuse.

But unexpectedly, right after he hung up with Li Fuzhen, Li Yanxian also came looking for him.
