Luo Yuqing’s ride was an enormous Land Rover Range Rover. Seeing her drive a vehicle like that, Wang Chenning couldn’t help but think of a saying: ’Small woman, big ambitions!’

After he got in the car, Luo Yuqing gave Wang Chenning a mischievous look. "If I hadn’t come looking for you today, how were you planning to clean up this mess? Were you going to call the Yang family? Or ask that little girl, Zhao Xiao’an, for help?"

Wang Chenning smiled. "I was going to find Lu Yuanshan. He’s my grandfather’s apprentice, and he was the one who told me to come to Yanjing. If I get into trouble, he ought to take some responsibility, right?"

"If tonight’s incident wasn’t orchestrated by someone behind the scenes, Lu Yuanshan’s connections might have been enough to handle it." Luo Yuqing’s large, beautiful eyes fixed on Wang Chenning. "But are you so sure tonight was just a random occurrence?"

Wang Chenning was surprised. "You’re saying tonight was a deliberate setup targeting me?"

"Of course." Luo Yuqing smiled. "I’ll have someone look into the details. Most likely, it’s because you’re trying to get with that pretty teacher of yours. Find out who else is pursuing her, and you’ll probably have your answer.
