Suddenly, the Celestial Demon in the sky flipped over and shot downwards, flinging itself violently toward the ground.
Up and down, the Celestial Demon's entire colossal body, pried and prodded by the little red snake's tail, tumbled chaotically through the red void. It was like a toy in the little red snake's hands.
"ROAR!"
The monstrous Celestial Demon opened its maw in fury, letting out a great roar as it tried to struggle free.
But the little red snake just shook its head contemptuously, the movements of its tail not slowing in the slightest.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk! How pitiful. Mola, look at you now. What have you become? A monster controlled by others, knowing only how to kill!"
The little red snake couldn't help but taunt.
Then, after a while, as if it had tired of its game, the little red snake finally lowered its raised tail.
Suddenly, the Celestial Demon's massive body fell pathetically from the sky.
The little red snake slowly approached. Looking into the Celestial Demon's brutal, violent eyes, it clicked its tongue and shook its head. "Fine. Then I shall lend you a hand."
With that, the little red snake extended its tail and gently tapped the forehead of each of the Celestial Demon's three heads.
An invisible, formless light seemed to fly from the little red snake's tail and drill into the Celestial Demon's foreheads.
"POP!"
With a soft, crisp sound, as if some kind of barrier had been pierced, an ancient and profound aura emanated forth.
The Celestial Demon's struggling body suddenly froze and became calm. The brutal rage in the eyes of its three heads dimmed. When they lit up again a moment later, all fury was gone, replaced by pure clarity.
At the same time, the little red snake flew up, raised its pointed tail, and struck the golden chains on the Celestial Demon's body. "BANG! BANG! BANG!"
A dazzling light flashed. The golden chains vibrated violently, and with a dull CRACK, they shattered.
...
Outside, within the Red Land Demon Realm, the sky was a hazy, rolling crimson. Endless Demonic Qi surged from Demon Mountain, blotting out the heavens.
And beneath this red canopy, a colossal Dharma Golden Body was slowly rising. It was that of a skeletal old man with flowing white hair.
Elder Taiyin.
His long white hair hung down, trailing all the way to the ground. He was currently floating cross-legged before Demon Mountain, surrounded by revolving Ancient Copper Mirrors that radiated brilliant light.
"Hehehehe, hehehehe! Yuan Hua, do you really think this handful of people can stop me?"
Elder Taiyin slowly spoke, his voice hoarse.
Then, with no visible movement from Elder Taiyin, the Ancient Copper Mirrors around him suddenly rose high into the sky. They flared with intense light, and dazzling white beams shot out from them. Like white rainbows piercing heaven and earth, they converged on a single point.
And beneath those beams of white light, Yuan Hua floated up and slowly took a step forward. "Taiyin! Do you think I'm afraid of you just because you have Demon Mountain to back you up?"
Heaven and Earth!
The next moment, Yuan Hua's figure abruptly swelled, transforming into a colossal Golden Body Dharma Aspect. Every movement shimmered with flowing light, exuding a celestial aura.
He extended a finger, pointed forward, and then slowly traced a circle.
Suddenly, blades of crystalline light spun out from his fingertip, forming a gigantic wheel.
"CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!"
All the beams shooting down from the sky were blocked.
Then, with a soft cry from Yuan Hua, "Go!" he pointed his finger forward again. The wheel composed of countless Light Sabers suddenly moved, its tips facing forward.
"SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!"
The Light Sabers streaked across the sky, a brilliant display like a downpour of swords, shooting toward Demon Mountain.
In response, the Ancient Copper Mirrors before Elder Taiyin moved, all flying up in front of Demon Mountain. They erupted with golden light, emitting wave after wave of golden halos that shot forward to block the incoming sword rain.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
Each sword light slammed into the golden halos, exploding in a dazzling flash of light, like a spectacular firework display.
While the two colossal figures of Yuan Hua and Elder Taiyin battled fiercely in the sky, Dongfang Wan'Er, Lv Yunsheng, and the others were moving forward at extreme speed. They became a series of dark blurs, bobbing up and down across the Red Land Demon Realm as they hurried toward Demon Mountain.
"Sever!"
With a sharp cry, Zhou Chen, the Saint Heir of the Celestial Profound Sacred Land, raised a longsword of the deepest blue.
"SHING!"
He drew it only an inch from its sheath, but a silvery-white sword beam over a hundred feet long suddenly shot out before him, sweeping across the landscape like an autumn wind scattering fallen leaves.
In an instant, the rolling Demonic Qi before them was sliced away. The view ahead cleared, revealing the jagged, steep-cliffed Demon Mountain.
Lv Yunsheng hurried forward and raised the Celestial Secret Mirror in his hand. Its surface was hazy, and within the illusion, a tall, three-headed, six-armed figure appeared.
Lv Yunsheng muttered something under his breath and tapped his finger on the mirror's surface.
"WHOOSH!"
Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from the Celestial Secret Mirror, illuminating a path forward and pointing the way for the group.
"It's that way! Follow me!"
Lv Yunsheng quickly pointed forward, leaping toward Demon Mountain along the path of the beam.
Hearing this, Dongfang Wan'Er, Zhou Chen, and Tao Sheng quickly followed.
However, Lv Yunsheng had not gone more than a few steps when the Celestial Secret Mirror in his hand suddenly began to vibrate violently.
He quickly looked down and saw the surface of the Celestial Secret Mirror glowing faintly. The figure of a youth in flowing white robes with an enormous, jet-black sword on his back had appeared.
After this white-robed youth appeared, the Celestial Secret Mirror seemed to grow excited. It suddenly floated up and tried to drift forward on its own.
Seeing this, Lv Yunsheng quickly reached out and grabbed it, stopping in his tracks.
"What's wrong?"
Zhou Chen caught up from behind, looking puzzled at Lv Yunsheng's behavior.
"It's nothing."
Lv Yunsheng replied coolly, but with a slight movement of his sleeve, he put away the Celestial Secret Mirror.
Then, Lv Yunsheng led the group onward, but in a different direction.
At this very moment, the Red Land Demon Realm was still churning with Demonic Qi. A constant stream of red Demonic Qi rolled in from the not-so-distant Demon Mountain.
Zhou Chen walked at the front. With a flash of his sword, a massive, majestic sword beam shot out, flying like a crescent moon across the sky.
In an instant, the red Demonic Qi ahead of them vanished, revealing a rugged and treacherous mountain path littered with jagged rocks.
Zhou Chen looked up toward the distant Demon Mountain, which seemed no closer than when they had started. He frowned. "Why aren't we there yet?"
At his side, Lv Yunsheng paused. He glanced at the white-robed youth in the Celestial Secret Mirror, his expression unchanging. Then, he gave Zhou Chen a respectful bow. "Replying to Senior Brother, this Red Land Demon Realm seems strange. The surrounding terrain is constantly changing, like a maze. But don't worry, we should be close. We'll reach Demon Mountain soon."
