The Arena Section quickly descended into a Shura Battlefield.
Nearly everyone in the present glared ferociously at Ray as if he were the public enemy.
The nerve of him to utter such an insensitive and disrespectful statement was outrageous!
"Get down from the air and fight!" A fiery new first-year student snorted coldly. They pointed at him and demanded that he enter the stage.
Although they were agitated, the rules of the academy could not be disregarded.
The Arena Section didn’t mean that any private brawling could take place anywhere. They were required to step on the special platform where they could go all out without fearing for the other person’s life.
It was designed and manufactured by an Eighth Circle Mage, which goes to show how effective the platform was.
"Relax, kiddo!" While they were determined to pummel Ray, the latter wasn’t in a rush.
Instead, he glanced at the crowd from his high ground and mused inwardly.
’Look at all these juicy points~’ Aside from the points that he would gain to use to skip classes, he was also farming villain points.
This was what they called killing two birds with one stone.
No, it was actually killing three because the moment he succeeded in showing his domineering action, he wouldn’t need to deal with dumb, arrogant side characters that love courting death.
Fear was a powerful tool to ensure even the dumbest courting death character was frightened away.
And if they still hadn’t learned, Ray wouldn’t hesitate to send Belva to eliminate them.
After all, Belva’s grudges against pathetic and arrogant nobles hadn’t subsided one bit. They were only concealed very discreetly, but the character profile that was constantly updated exposed her.
Otherwise, Ray would have trouble understanding Belva.
’Just what is Ray doing?’ Little did he know that his so-called understanding was very superficial.
Belva was already struggling with how to deal with her former professors, but now she had to even think about how to clean up this mess. She had made an incorrect judgment and actually escalated things harder.
She couldn’t even turn around now because the students seemed to have a collective understanding to block the exit door.
They can’t resort to force, but they surely can become human obstacles to prevent Ray from leaving.
But then again, she highly doubted Ray would leave after causing such a scene.
If anything, he probably would take it as a type of game to hone his mindset.
Or worse, a betting moment to probably gather as many slack points as he could.
And sure enough, her prediction was pretty much spot on.
"Get in line if you want to fight me. 100 points each!" Ray demanded in a snarky tone. His intention was quite obvious; he meant to provoke them all as the typical villain would do.
"Are you betting that many points?" The hot-headed first-year student questioned coldly.
"Oh, please. Why would I be betting when you are the one who wants to fight me?"
"You don’t even have points and dare to speak such words? Do you seriously think we can’t do anything to you?"
"Yes," Ray gestured to Belva to put him down. "A person like you who is agitated from mere words is no different than barking dogs who wag their tails as soon as a tiny bone is tossed their way."
"YOU!!!" The first-year student was infuriated. They instantly took out their academy card and activated the magic, which showed 340 points.
"If you can defeat me, then you can have all my points. But if you lose, I want you to crawl under my legs and say you’re worse than a dog."
’What a pathetic joke!’ Ray thought he would say something interesting, but it was just this low-level provocation.
Can’t they do any better?
What good would it do even if he lost and had to perform those actions?
Absolutely nothing!
All he gained was a moment of satisfaction in exchange for 340 points.
Fine by Ray!
He wasn’t going to lose anyway.
"Does anyone else also want to bet a minimum of 340 points? I’m only going to do one match. So whether you join or not, this is your one and only chance!" Ray declared thunderously.
Sure enough, chaos erupted in the Arena Section.
His presence was less than a minute, but he had already become the public enemy.
"If we win, are you going to crawl under all of us who beat you? Cause honestly, I think you have zero Stellan Points."
"I bet you are just agitating us on purpose and thinking you can earn quick Stellan Points. But that’s where you’re mistaken!"
"You think we all got admitted to the academy through connections? We worked our way up to be accepted!"
The students were heated indeed, but they weren’t foolish enough to not understand Ray’s nefarious intention.
They simply continued their behavior because they were highly confident of their ability to thrash Ray. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have even come to the Arena Section after completing their pamphlet.
Despite hearing their remarks, Ray remained aloof and even bolder.
"Hoh, so you knew. I thought it was just a bunch of dumb barking dogs, but it appears I’m wrong. It’s a bunch of ridiculous dogs who don’t know how to greet their owner." He picked his ears and snickered.
"Count me in!"
"I’m definitely making him crawl and bark like a damn dog!"
"Count me in too!"
In the blink of an eye, the students deposited their points into the academy formation.
To prevent a situation like refusing to pay their betting, the formation would automatically store the points and deposit them to the winner immediately.
Their morale was at an all-time high, and they wanted nothing more than to demolish Ray.
’How cute? Oh, even females are joining. Just perfect. I’m an advocate of gender equality, so I won’t give them special treatment.’ Ray thought to himself.
No matter who stepped onto the arena today, he was determined to pummel them all so badly that they wouldn’t ever try to disturb him again.
He was not interested in academy arc cliche scenes of needing to deal with one bully after another.
