Belva had somewhat grasped Ray’s personality. Lazy but would always search for ways to shortcut and loophole.

That wasn’t a bad trait because being lazy didn’t mean carelessness.

Sometimes, lazy people tend to do things in a more efficient way. They didn’t wish to waste their precious time slacking, and not doing a good job would only bring them more headaches later on.

A true lazy person does their job perfectly and fast, but will never submit their work until the last second.

This was the conclusion Belva had come up with after today’s incident.

’There must have been a reason why he provoked Professor Margaret.’

She wasn’t naive enough to believe Ray was really doing all of these on her behalf.

There had to be something beneficial for him. It was just that she remained unaware of what or where he would benefit from.

Meanwhile, Ray was intrigued and was lured very hard by the enticement of skipping classes legitimately.

Since he was technically sent here by his so-called adopted father, many professors probably heard of him.

Any bad thing or bad grades would instantly be reported to Marquis Robert.

By then, who knows what other headaches he would have to face?

A Villain Extra, but the Extra was being worked to death.

Please explain how that makes any sense!

"Can I have you substitute for me as the fighter in that whatever arena section?" Ray asked cheekily.

If he could substitute, then he would have Belva wipe the floor on everyone and then use those points for his benefit.

Unfortunately for him, that was just his pipe dream talking.

"No offense, Young Master. But if you could think of this, then the other arrogant and lazy nobles could also think about it." Belva said with all due respect.

"The Crestellan Academy strictly forbade the servant that they brought along from participating in any form of contest. If discovered, the servant and the student would both be punished severely."

This was one of the few ironclad rules in the academy that was thoroughly reinforced.

The academy was to hone and train a student, and not their servant. To permit such action was no different than downgrading the academy’s standing and prestige.

They were there to produce talented students and not talented servants.

There was another place that specifically trained servants.

"Tsk, how boring." Ray clicked his tongue and decided to check out the arena section.

Anyone who bothered to be there now was most likely involved in the later major events in the storyline.

Since that was the case, he might as well go and check to see if he could purchase any valuable character profile in the Villain Store.

At the same time, he needed to figure out a way to earn a wheel chance to spin.

The Abyssal Dominion Core was very nice, and he wanted to see if he could roll for another similar item.

Sometime later, Ray lifted his hands up, and Belva was rendered speechless at how lazy her Young Master could be.

She exhaled softly and controlled her mana to lift Ray up.

Only someone like him could have such a thick face to be carried away like some princess.

And sure enough, the moment they exited the cafeteria and returned to campus, multiple gazes were directed at them occasionally.

"Who is that student? Why is he being carried by someone else?"

"Can’t you tell that’s a servant? But that’s weird, why do I seem like I have seen this servant before?"

"Hmm, as a Second-Year, I can confidently say I’ve seen her before."

The attention quickly shifted from Ray to Belva. Given the fact that not all students around the campus were first-year, but second-year, with a few minority in the third-year, some had actually seen Belva’s face before.

They simply couldn’t recollect their thoughts at the moment.

Belva naturally overheard their muttering, granted that they didn’t even bother lowering their voices in the first place.

Still, her facial expression remained unchanged. She had been through a lot more to even care about whether she was recognized or not anymore.

The students probably won’t, but the professors?

They definitely do, and she could only pray none of them would seek her out. She was too exhausted after this Margaret episode and feared that Ray might do much worse than what he did today.

’I’ll just have Ray expend all his stamina and energy at the arena section. That way it would save me the trouble.’ Belva thought to herself.

Indeed, she was also sly herself by making such a suggestion.

Although her words were indeed true, how could there possibly be any student in the arena section at this time who had a lot of points to lose?

This was just her misleading him and a way to retaliate against him for acting so bossy lately.

But little did Belva expect... The decision she made today was bound to be a terrible mistake.

Arena Section

"Wow, look at this bunch of children playing fake fighting!" As soon as they arrived at the Arena Section, Ray amplified his voice and spoke loudly.

THUD!

Almost immediately, everyone, whether they were spectating or sparring with others, paused their actions. They all collectively turned to the source of the voice, who was none other than Ray, still being levitated in the air.

If it were any other person, they might have long been frightened by the numerous stares.

But who was Ray?

He was the goddamn Rogue Reader who dared to curse at the very being that threw him into this world!

Who else could be more terrifying than Chasing Star?

"Look at these children staring at me!" Ray slapped his thigh and laughed wickedly. "I wonder if they even have the courage to fight me. Or maybe I should refrain and stay as a spectator."

His statement successfully riled up everyone in the arena section.

Keep in mind that the majority of hot-headed students, whether they were new to the academy or seniors, come here to vent through combat.
