By the time Ray stepped onto the stage, many began laughing wildly at one particular student.

Who didn’t understand the taunting remark that Ray had just made?

No matter the era!

How could a man not understand what it meant to be called a 2-second guy when having a girlfriend?

"You’re dead meat!"

The fiery student quickly activated the magic formation once Ray stepped onto the stage.

Soon, a large transparent dome enveloped the stage, preventing anyone from fleeing the vicinity of the stage.

Ray extended his hand and touched the transparent dome.

"Oh, it’s quite bouncy." He commented. He didn’t expect it to be bouncy. He anticipated the dome to be more concrete or hardened-like to prevent destruction.

But it appeared that it was a bouncy absorption-type formation.

While Ray was distracted by the dome, the countdown at the top began.

There was a 30-second timer, ensuring that each participant could have ample time to prepare and prevent the excuse that they weren’t ready.

It was a foolproof plan that eliminated all possible excuses or mishaps.

Of course, there might still be some exceptions, but they would be immediately rectified.

"He’s not even taking us seriously." The fiery student clicked his tongue in displeasure.

"He’s treating us like extras. Never even asked for our names or took a closer look at our faces."

"Hmph, I hate arrogant men like him the most. They always underestimate us, women."

In the blink of an eye, all 9 students have a common hatred.

They all despised Ray’s actions and arrogance. They stared at the timer slowly dwindling from two digits to one digit.

None of them even bothered to warn Ray that the fight was about to start because they wanted to see how big a fool he made himself.

’That’s probably what they thought.’ Ray snickered inwardly.

Did these people really think he was being distracted?

He was merely testing the dome and wondering how much it could bounce.

There was no need to even look at the timer, either, because once it reached 3, the sound would change.

And sure enough, Ray heard the difference in sound, which indicated it was 3.

’Let’s see how much they’re going to blast me.’ He didn’t wish to brag, but ragebaiting others was his specialty.

It was just too easy to trigger people, especially when it was an online game, and he goes "ggez", which essentially stood for good game easy.

BEEEEEP!

As soon as the timer buzzer finished, all 9 students unleashed their spells at him.

"Young Master!" Belva was stupefied when Ray remained standing like a dork in the same position.

What was worse was that he even chose to stand at a terrible corner with no space to even dodge in between.

Many of the crowd also snickered at Ray’s ridiculous behavior.

Professor’s Lounge

"What the hell is this Raymond doing?"

"Language, Professor Hewes."

"What language should I use then, Louis?" Hewes snorted and facepalmed. He had bet a month of laundry against Louis in favor of Raymond. Yet it seemed like he had bet wrong.

Needless to say, Louis was full of gloat and was certain of his victory.

His grin was so wide, and his face became increasingly punchable for Hewes.

"I don’t think you should be grinning now, Louis." Amidst their banter, Margaret suddenly intervened and warned. "I believe the last laugh will be Hewes."

"Eh?" Louis was startled by her words. It would be a lie to say he wasn’t somewhat annoyed to be told to stop, but his eyes soon lost their color when he focused on the screen.

In the meantime, the infuriated Hewes also changed 180 degrees.

"You’re right, Professor Louis. We are professors here and should be wary of our languages." Hewes curled his lips upward and flashed a malicious grin.

The exact same type of grin that Louis used earlier.

’Ugh...’ Louis clenched his fist tightly and suppressed his anger.

After all, on the screen, they all witnessed a clever yet dirty play.

Arena Section

The moment all 9 students blasted their spells at Ray, the latter immediately expanded his Elemental Barrier.

Of course, the 9 opponents sneered at the barrier, which was clearly incapable of blocking their collective attack.

However, they were sorely mistaken because that was never Ray’s intention to begin with.

As soon as he cast the barrier, Ray actually vanished from the scene. Despite his sudden disappearance, those attacks didn’t stop.

They continue to advance like a hungry predator and make a direct impact on the barrier.

Everyone thought the barrier would shatter like fractured glass, but that wasn’t the case.

The Elemental Barrier absorbed and deflected the power toward the dome, which caused a huge domino effect. The bouncy effect and its sturdiness immediately caused the spells to rebound all across the field. This immediately caught the 9 students by surprise.

"Crap, run!"

"Why did the dome rebound our attacks?"

"That had never even happened!!"

They were dumbfounded and astonished by the situation.

Needless to say, the spells they cast were among their strongest, and they had only been focusing on offense.

Their half-baked defensive barrier or spell cracked almost instantaneously.

KABOOOM!

Just like that, 6 out of the 9 students were directly eliminated from the fight and teleported outside, indicating that they had sustained fatal injuries.

Only 3 students remained, which were the fiery hot-headed student, a bulky male, and a somewhat agile female who barely avoided a fatal injury.

While the female’s clothes were ripped, it avoided the exposure of anything private. They were just about to cover themselves when a voice suddenly echoed from behind.

"Whoa, your skin is exposed. Who are you trying to seduce here? Are you trying to get us canceled?" Ray mused.

"You—" The female was alerted and turned around with the intention of attacking.

But they were still a step too late.

SLAP!

"The slap of justice and no naughtiness allowed!" Ray was faster than her. He gave her a loud and crisp slap on the cheek.
