Chapter 576: Chapter 576 – Amethyst - Part 2.

(Sengen? I never thought I would I have ever a run in with her in my life!) – thought Thanatos as she was observing behind a corner while using her stealth to observe the female player arguing with 3 other players.

(The last time I’ve had run it with her was when I was still part of PK guild.)

(We were hired to sabotage her guild... But we were caught and we were completely destroyed right on the spot.)

(Still, from what I’ve heard, her guild was completely destroyed and she apparently stopped playing... So, is it a look alike?)

"Heh. You should be grateful that we are willing to make a deals with a nobody like you." – said the male orc player.

"What did you just said?" – asked Sengen?

"I said what I’ve said." – said the male orc player.

"WE HAD A FUCKING DEAL! YOU BACKSTABBING BASTARD!" – shouted Sengen?

"And the deal has changed. The value of that thing dropped; therefore, you will get a lower pay." – said the female orc player.

"BULLSHIT! Those horns are still worth the same value if not more! And even if the marked price has changed, it doesn’t change the fact that we had arrangement!" – said Sengen?

"Tch. Fuck off. You got paid so get freaking lost." – said the orc player as he started walking away with his group.

"..." – the female cloak wearing player was filled with pure rage, causing her to almost draw her weapon... But giving up.

The orc players noticed that and grinned.

But before they could even start laughing, their vision suddenly "fell" to the floor.

"?" – the cloak wearing player turned towards the orc players, noticing that something was off... And she saw it.

The trio of orc players who were decapitate right on the spot without making any sound.

Their decapitated heads laid on the ground, before in the next moment they were destroyed by single swing of a scythe.

"?!" – the cloak wearing player tried getting ready to fight, but in the next moment, the scythe was already right in front of her throat.

"...Hey." – said Thanatos while wearing her mage disguise.

"Are you by any chance Sengen?"

"..."

(Who the fuck is she?!) – thought the cloak wearing woman.

(She instantly killed them right on the spot and then closed up a distance before I could take out my wand?!)

(Who is it?!)

"What the hell do you want?" – asked the cloak wearing woman.

"Depends on who I’m asking." – replied Thanatos while she still her scythe blade right next to the woman’s throat.

The two woman just stared at each other, not speaking or anything else, just having a standoff.

"How much you have fallen?" – said Thanatos.

"...Huh?" – the cloaked woman had reaction.

"Let me ask you this again, how much you had fallen in order to make deals with that kind of pieces of trash and not even try to fight back when they betrayed you and scammed you?" – said Thanatos.

"This is truly pathetic."

"Shut it." – said the cloak wearing woman.

"Or what? You will attack me?" – said Thanatos.

"You can’t even fight back in this situation. I can just decapitate you right on the spot."

"And you will just die here as a looser as well as nothing more than an idiot."

"I SAID SHUT IT!" – shouted cloak wearing woman as she swung her fist in the fit of rage, causing Thanatos to back away, removing her scythe as she dodged the attack.

"[Serpent: Thunder: Strike]!" – and right as the vampire backed away, the woman unleashed a snake made out of thunder which flew right at the vampire.

"..."

But the vampire didn’t panicked as she just cut down the attack right on the spot, catching off guard the cloaked woman as she then tried to unleash another skill.

However, the vampire used her shadow blood skill to boost her speed and instantly get right next to the woman once again.

"I knew it." – said Thanatos as he scythe was once again right next to the cloaked woman’s throat.

"It was really you."

"Sengen." – said Thanatos as she lowered her weapon and then pressed a button, causing her scythe to transform back into the mage staff and hiding the blade.

"...What the hell do you want from me." – said the cloak wearing woman as she grabbed the hood of her cloak and removed it, revealing a long purple haired as well as orange gem like eyes.

[Sengen]

"I just want to talk." – said Thanatos.

"If you like, I can even pay right here and now if you want."

"..."

"Tch. Just tell me what do you want. A job or something?" – said Sengen as she scratched her head in annoyance.

"..."

"A recruitment offer." – said Thanatos as she grabbed her mask and took it off.

"What do you say?"

"?" – Sengen looked confused, not recognizing the face of the woman.

"Let me introduce myself." – said Thanatos.

"I’m Thanatos."

"Also known as Hunter."

"I’m working for the bastard called the Doctor... Also known as Phantasia."

"?!"

(Wait, that mad man who people are keep talking about!?) – thought alarmed Sengen.

"I’m going to ask it straight." – said Thanatos.

"Are you interested in working for that bastard?"

"You want me to work for the current most infamous player in the whole game right now?" – scoffed Sengen.

"Yes." – replied Thanatos with straight face.

"..."

"Sorry, not interested." – said Sengen as she tried walking past Thanatos.

"The last thing I need to worry about is involving myself with you people."

"You are in debt. Aren’t you?" – said Thanatos, causing Sengen to instantly stop in tracks.

"That is the only reason why you would work for these scums." – said Thanatos as she turned towards Sengen who refused to look in vampire’s direction.

"The fuck do you know?!" – said pissed off Sengen.

"How about we help you out in paying it?"

"..."

"And then what? Wouldn’t I own a debt to you instead?" – said Sengen as she tried walking away once again, but Thanatos used her skill to instantly get in front of her and block her way out of the alleyway.

"Yes. You are correct, you will pay us back." – said Thanatos.

"Oh yeah? Then fuck off." – said Sengen as she got ready to fight.

"But not with money." – said Thanatos.

"Instead, loyalty."

"?"

"Loyalty?" – said confused Sengen.

"Yes. Just loyalty." – said Thanatos.

"You will work for the scum like Phantasia."

"But you will no longer be in dept in the future."

"How does that sound?"

Sengen was hesitation to answer the question, to the point she even took out her mage staff, still thinking about possible fighting Thanatos.

But the vampire? She didn’t reacted at all. She didn’t even transformed her disguised weapon back to its true form. She just waited.

And that made Sengen only more nervous and unsure what to do.

"Fine." – said Sengen as she put her staff back into the inventory.

"Let’s talk." – said Sengen as the two women returned back to the deepest part of the alleyway.
