Warhammer Divine Throne

Chapter 1241 - 534: True Warhammer Unmatched

"There's no time for explanations now, let me break through and meet up with Laine!" Kaled shouted.

"Understood!" Hagen knew now was not the time for hesitation and immediately responded loudly.

With the charge of two Holy Grail Knights, Kaled no longer felt fear. With the help of Duke Hagen, Kaled surged forward, and enemies fell in droves before him. This Holy Sanctuary Holy Grail Knight was as if a living War God incarnate; his eyes burned with the wrath of the Lake God, and his sword Durandal blazed with white flames. Gripping his cavalry lance in one hand and Durandal in the other, each strike he delivered brought ruin to Brittania's enemies. He felt the power of the Holy Grail thundering in his veins. The enemies scattered before him like wheat under a sickle.

No one could stand against him, no one could withstand him. The Black Knights turned to dust before Kaled, either being thrust aside by his lance or directly run through by his warhorse, then trampled into fragments by the hooves.

The last of the Black Chalice Knights also fell before Kaled.

He had single-handedly slaughtered hundreds and thousands of the Undead.

Then he saw his half-brother, Belites, who had transformed into a Vampire, silently challenging him by raising his cavalry lance towards Kaled.

"You've fallen too?" Kaled calmly raised his cavalry lance: "From today, we are no longer brothers."

"We were never brothers! Never!" Belites' scarlet eyes burned with intense killing intent: "I have become a Midnight Noble! My power exceeds your imagination..."

Before finishing, Kaled's cavalry lance had already pierced through Belites's shield and struck his chest. His brother barely had time to show a hint of surprise before Kaled knocked him off his horse.

"Die, Undead!!!" Duke Hagen paid no heed, thrusting his Stag Riding Spear through the fallen Belites. Bathing in the light of the Stag, the Vampire Lord let out a blood-curdling scream and was vaporized into a pile of gray residue.

Kaled had no time to mourn the passing of Belites. This Holy Grail Knight spotted the Mad Duke Merovin.

Hooves never stopped; Kaled charged once again into the army of Black Knights, heading straight for Merovin.

The Imperial Knights had never felt such an overwhelming sense of bloodlust and lofty ambition, shouting vigorously; under Kaled's lead, they followed him, in an instant reaching Merovin, like a bright light piercing the darkness and rain.

The Black Knights and Blood Knights tried to move to protect the Mad Duke, their eyes filled with hatred but also fear.

When Kaled raised the Divine Sword Durandale, the light released almost made all the undead screech in agony. The radiance on Durandale illuminated the entire battlefield, bringing immense pain to the undead.

The Blood Knights tried to halt Kaled's charge; these Blood Knights were extremely powerful entities, clad in ancient armor, each a formidable Warrior and Champion of the Blood Dragon Family.

Yet no one could stop Kaled's charge; lance and blade tore through the Blood Knights' armor and flesh, heads flew into the air, and Kaled swiftly cut down five Blood Knights, closing in on Merovin.

The remaining Blood Knights were overwhelmed by the eight hundred plus knights led by Duke Hagen and over a hundred Imperial Knights.

Seeing he was left alone, Merovin let out a cold laugh, the Mad Duke swinging his sword, slicing an Imperial Knight charging from the side, horse and all, in half. That Imperial Knight was sent flying away even before he could utter his dying words.

With a second strike, he took down a Brittania Ranger Knight, whose warhorse immediately sunk its hooves, hurling the rider from his fast gallop.

Merovin raised his sword towards Kaled.

This was an invitation to a Champion duel.

Kaled would not permit Merovin's continued killing. He roared out accepting the challenge: "Guided by the Lady's lance tip!"

The Holy Grail Knight's cavalry lance pierced through the air; Kaled sidestepped Merovin's sharp sword blade attack, the lance's tip piercing through Merovin's throat, setting off a terrifying duel between these two Holy Sanctuary Powerhouses.

Merovin cried out in pain after being wounded, white flames seared his throat, black smoke billowed from it, blistering and blackening under the white flames. In this dire moment, Merovin wielded his Sword of the Dead with all his might to parry Kaled's blade. He reached out and snapped the lance in two with his hand.

The clash of blades sparked a brilliant light in the dark night. Both sides' arm muscles were tightened to the extreme, evenly matched, neither could overcome the other.

The Vampire's speed was swift; after Kaled's cavalry lance shattered, Merovin immediately swung his sword toward Kaled.

But Merovin was ultimately mistaken; Kaled was no longer a mere mortal. The Count Galament, even in his days as an Expedition Knight, was far stronger than ordinary Holy Grail Knights. Now his power had already surpassed the Vampire's imagination. He swiftly used the remaining portion of the lance to block Merovin's attack. At that moment, Durandal's blade quickly severed both the sword and Merovin's right arm together.

Merovin let out a maddened shriek, grabbing the remaining Undead Bone Sword with his only hand, hurling himself towards Kaled.

"Clang!" Kaled promptly raised his sword to block Durandal, successfully deflecting the Sword of the Dead's edge while leaving a gruesome mark on Merovin's chest. The black Cursed Plate Armor was cut apart like rags by Durandal; Merovin felt his power being diverted by Kaled, helplessly reaching towards him.

Kaled turned nimbly. Concentrating all his power within his arms, even utilizing his waist's strength, with the Holy Grail Knight's actions, his sword transformed into a blur of light.

Durandal descended, blood spattered, and a noble head soared into the air.

The Holy Sanctuary level Champion duel ended abruptly yet brutally. The surrounding Undead Army, losing Merovin's control, instantly fell into disarray.

The Imperial Army and Jisoleox Duchy's forces seized the chance to break through the siege.

The entire battlefield resonated with Kaled's hoarse roar.

"In the name of the Lady! Mad Duke Merovin has been beheaded!!!"
