Yan dynasty is very oppressive to people different than them

Most of the warriors of these tribes commit crime even if they do not want to.

The crime is simply being alive.

The Yan dynasty could easily pin a blame to some "barbarians" when there is killing in the border.

Or they would rape woman of the tribes and blame it on something else.

There is many such stories where a warrior of the tribes would kill an official of the Yan dynasty

All of their actions are all for self-preservation and all of them only have selfish thoughts

It is a community that shape the nature of the people around them

One thought that the other world be selfish, hence they judged others to be selfish.

Then after someone felt the selfishness of these people, they too went on life thinking that people are selfish.

And in turn they become selfish and the cycle continues and continues.

If people are truly selfish, people would not become a tribe.

A tribe would not become a community and the community could not become a state.

The history of humanity is the history of cooperation.

Yet, when those in power reach their position, their greediness could not leave the people below them well enough.

Greed, paranoia, fear leads them to attack. And because it is the sickness of the heart, they sicken others and corrupt others.

To the emperors and kings, the more they killed, the more they think they are great.

Instead, to the common people, those who they worship, those who they loved, are those who levy less hard labour, those who keep peace, those who do not wage wars.

Yet, he somehow have knowledge of the Han dynasty and even seems to be quite proficient in it.

He might not remember everything about the characters that appears in the Three Kingdoms, but most of the major character and character spoken in the Romance of the Three kingdoms....he seems to know great details about them

That is not the only change in the story.

Cao Cao, the treacherous hero, that massacrer of cities, in the story become Xiahou Cao. He did not change his name and the Xiahou family

The Cao Cao become Xiahou Cao. But he still reads it.

The story has come changes.

One of them is Dugu Yi.

Dugu Yi is basically Lu Bu. Because there is no Lu Bu in the book. Only this version of Lu Bu is upgraded. He is ruthless but not an idiot

He is a more ruthless version of Cao Cao and a downgraded version of Liu Bei. One might think that such a person is destined to rule the world

But his ruthlessness is too far and his benevolence is to o little. So, people feared his power and scoff at his benevolence.

In this story, Dugu Yi replace Lu Bu to be the strongest person in this era of the Three Kingdoms.

And the Dugu Yi in this story started in the north. He experienced the Yellow Turban rebellion, experienced the intrigues and plots of Zhuo Bufan

The Zhuo Bufan in this world is the Dong Zhuo in his world.

He would then experience the famous three heroes fighting Dugu Yi, the siege at Hulao but there is a difference.

Dugu Yi would then ride north. And he would meet Xu Bailong, his destined strategist.

Xiahou Cao has Guo Jia, Jiang Bei has Zhu Liang and Sun Quan has Lu Su then Dugu Yi has Xu Bailong

When he met Xu Bailong, under his strategies, Dugu Yi had the ability to conquer the north and he defeated noble families like the Yuan family and he conquered most of the north.

Yuan Shao could not even do anything to him and for a moment it almost seems like he would unify the north, attack the south and achieve hegemony.

This is the part of the story that is different from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It almost seems like Dugu Yi was the destined one.

He conquered the north and without even controlling the emperor. In other words, he manage it with simply military might

Xiahou Cao could use the emperor to restrain him but could not use the emperor to kill him.

However, when he marches south....Xu Bailong was sick.

And with Xu Bailong being sick, Dugu Yi men fall into a trick and the southern expedition failed. The heroes united and fight Dugu Yi and the Tiger of the North could only lick his wound.

Even if that was the case, it was not really a defeat that could break the north.

As long as Dugu Yi insisted to try again, then the victory could still belongs to him

But then.... Xu Bailong died. And once he died, the tiger is a tiger without intelligence.

It took him more effort to govern the north and because he did not possess the righteousness of the world, he could not command it as easily as Yuan family controls the officials, or Xiahou Cao using the emperor or Jiang Bei use of righteousness

And by this time, Dugu Yi himself is old. Maybe because he was depressed losing his friend and advisor or maybe because he is tired of the intrigues and plots of the palace, this Duke of the North finally succumbed to illness and dies

And his sons and generals were all fighting each other and in just a few years the north once again went into chaos.

When Aeryon read....no remember this story, he wonders what is the intention of the writer for doing such plot?

Thinking about it again, why copy and plagiarize the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, changes the story halfway and then bring it back to the familiar Romance of the Three Kingdoms?

It doesn’t make any sense.
