"Sir, don’t mind them. Silverschilds are a bit of a weird bunch. You don’t need to understand them. Actually, no one does. They are based in New Jersey, and filthy rich is what I know."

"Is that so?"

Liam smiled and walked ahead towards the Bentayga, his eyes slowly moving over the massive SUV before he pressed his hand against the smooth, silky paint job.

Information about this car entered Liam’s mind instantly. The tuning done by the dealership had many flaws, but he could drive this car smoothly. The factory tuning was still somewhat there, but it was manageable.

The white paint almost looked wet under the showroom lights, every curve of the Bentayga catching the light differently as Liam ran his palm along the side. The huge front grille sat proudly ahead of him, covered in chrome, while the round headlights looked almost too clean to belong on something this big.

To think, I am already this close to them.

Liam smiled as he stared at the SUV. It was more luxurious than his current one, and he didn’t even need to see the interior. His brain was actively skipping over the ’Silverschild’ name because he would be too angry to do anything if he started to react to it.

His fingers moved over the body line running across the door, feeling how smoothly the metal curved beneath the paint. Liam stepped back slightly, looking at the wide body, thick tires, and the way the Bentayga sat heavily on the ground without looking clumsy.

Merilyn... my wife... I guess I’ll start with your side family.

Erto Silverschild, Liam knew him. Although he carried the name Silverschild, he was from the cast-out side of the family, but they were still worth hundreds of millions, if not billions. Liam’s eyes gleamed as a plan formed inside his mind.

"Liam? What are you thinking?"

Alexandra’s voice woke him up before his plotting mind went berserk with the revenge plan he was cooking. Liam smiled and shook his head, then pointed at the sedan standing beside the Bentayga.

Compared to the massive SUV, the sedan sat much lower to the ground, its long white body stretching smoothly from the wide chrome grille all the way towards the rear. The hood was long and clean, while the roof curved down gently into the back, giving the whole car a smooth, flowing shape.

Under the showroom lights, the white paint had the same almost-wet shine, but unlike the Bentayga, which looked heavy and proud, this one looked sleek and gorgeous, almost like a couple.

Mr. & Mrs. Bentley.

Liam walked around the front, his eyes passing over the large round headlights and the smaller lights sitting beside them. Chrome surrounded almost everything without making the car look cheap, from the grille to the edges around the windows.

The huge polished wheels filled the arches almost perfectly, leaving barely any ugly empty space between the tires and the body. From the side, the sedan looked even longer.

Four large doors, a thick body line running from the front fender towards the rear, dark glass, and enough polished metal around it to remind anyone looking at it that this wasn’t some normal white sedan.

The Bentayga looked like something that would push everything else on the road out of its way, while this one looked like people would move out of its way themselves.

"Ready for a test drive? You have a license, right?"

Liam smiled slightly after touching the sedan, making sure it had nice tuning before Alexandra could take it for a spin around the block. Hearing the question, Alexandra looked stupefied.

"What? This is an expensive car, too expensive. I know I wanted something nice, but this is out of my caliber. Buy me something nice, not this expensive."

Alexandra frantically shook her hands as she refused to get this car. She didn’t even go to take a look at cars at this level because it was just so unthinkable for her to own something like this.

"No, can’t do. My mistress can’t have a nice car... she needs an expensive one. You asked for it, and I am providing as a provider, so shut up and listen to me."

Liam smiled and gestured for Charles to bring the keys. He didn’t even ask for the price because with a car like this, you don’t actually ask for the price tag like a beer bottle in a super shop. You just buy it. His old wife had taught him that.

Seeing Alexandra in panic mode, running around the cars, made Liam smile. In his last life, she got a ’Sugar Daddy’ who was a rich dude, possessive but kind to her. He made millions by selling Bitcoins. When he lost everything in a casino, he was expecting Alexandra to leave his side because this was the normal thing to do with their deal.

But she didn’t. She took care of him until he died of old age. She worked harder and made a name for herself when she became the youngest CEO of Wells Fargo Bank. Liam got to know about it by reading the newspaper back then.

In this life, you will be my company’s CEO and show me how a person can go from being so good at technology to being absurdly talented in finance. I will read every page of your story this time around.
