I’m not even sure when it happened but the rest of the girls also showed up later and started feeding me too. I was just completely engrossed in the sweets that I didn’t realise more people were feeding me until I was completely satisfied.

That was when I saw myself being surrounded by all my girls who were watching me with smiles on their faces.

Once again, I saw a number of students looking our way as they walked past, all of them clearly watching us with mixed reactions which I obviously ignored.

At this point, the day was getting quite late so we ate at a restaurant nearby before we retired back to the dormitory.

I thought that I would have to sleep on my own tonight, which was something that I realised I hadn’t done for a really long time until Odeta, Katsuki and Delmare came into my room.

I didn’t even need to ask to know that they must have arranged this ahead of time so... Well...

Let’s just say that I sure hope the walls were thick here but I’m pretty sure even the people on the floor below us heard what we were doing in bed last night...

I woke up the next morning to see Delmare draped on top of me and Odeta hugging the both of us to her like a body pillow.

Katsuki was already up, my Inugami maid wearing her maid uniform with her white student robes draped over it.

The contrast actually made her look quite enchanting even if I do say so myself.

"Good morning, Mistress," She greeted me with a bow. "There was a letter addressed to you that arrived just now."

I blinked, certainly not expecting to receive something like a letter here of all places.

Was it from Mother?

I teleported myself out from Delmare and Odeta to appear in front of Katsuki without waking the other two up.

She handed the letter to me and I realised that it was sealed with a sigil of the Academy, meaning this was a letter sent from them and not Mother.

I broke open the seal, expecting to read the letter normally only for a sparkle of light to appear from within the paper and float up to spin around me before stopping above the letter that has been revealed to be an empty piece of paper.

"Student Aster, confirmed. You have a message from Director Cecilia Everhart of the Student Affairs department. Would you like to play it?"

Eh? Wow... This is pretty advanced, isn’t it? That’s pretty cool.

Err... How do I activate it?

As though reading my thoughts, the light orb spoke again, "If you would like to play the message, please say yes. If you do not wish to play the message, please close the letter."

"Ah, yes please."

The light slipped back into the letter and the figure of Cecilia appeared floating on top of my palm.

"Student Aster. Your presence is requested in the Chancellor’s Spire as soon as you receive this message. That would be the building at the very centre of the island. Thank you."

The figure then disappeared and the letter folded itself in my palm without me needing to do anything.

That’s pretty cool. Wonder why we don’t have letters like that all around the World?

I looked up at Katsuki who had undoubtedly heard everything the message said and gave her a tilt of the head to ask what she thought about this.

She straightened herself, "I believe this should be related to your apprenticeship, Mistress. Did you not tell us that they were unable to decide who might you be apprenticed to yesterday?"

Oh right, I almost forgot about that.

I nodded at her, "I suppose I should head there then."

"I shall accompany you, Mistress."

I let Katsuki dress me like always and decided I would just head there with only Katsuki since my girls would probably still be asleep at this time of the day.

Hmm... If classes start this early, we might need to change our usual schedule since it wouldn’t be good for them to still be asleep at this time...

With myself dressed, I left the dorm with Katsuki in tow, moving through the silent dormitory where it seems like most of the students were still asleep in their rooms.

I moved through the streets of the Academy, finding a few people were already up and it looked like they were in the middle of training themselves by running laps.

Some were even practicing their magic out in the fields or in any open areas they could find, which really gave off the feeling that this was a Magic Academy.

The walk to the Central Spire took some time since we couldn’t fly there and it doesn’t seem like there were any other modes of transport we could use.

I’m pretty sure there was at least something people would use to travel around the Academy considering how big it was and it wouldn’t make sense for people to just walk around the entire place... But either because school hasn’t started yet or we are just not aware of it, I can’t find any signs of such a thing.

Still, we managed to reach the Central Spire in good time and there were a few guards wearing scarlet robes standing near the entrance.

One of them raised an eyebrow at me when I neared the doors, "Student Aster?"

I nodded.

He pointed at me, "You can go in, but she has to stay outside."

His finger shifted to Katsuki who did not show any reaction to his words aside from her tail shifting slightly behind her.

I turned to her, "Wait for me out here, Katsuki."

She bowed, "Understood, Mistress. Please be careful."

I’m pretty sure I’m just going to meet the professors and not going to war so... I’m not sure what I need to be careful about...

Still, I gave her a nod before heading through the doors that opened up automatically for me when I stepped up to them.

I entered a hallway with marbled flooring and the place looked especially trippy since the patterns on the wall, ceiling and floor seemed to be moving around constantly, making it look like I was standing in some kind of subspace.

I didn’t see any other paths I could take so I went ahead to walk forward, only for the path to suddenly shimmer and I passed through something that felt like an invisible wall before I stepped out into a completely different place.

Looking around, I was standing in the middle of a circular hall with several raised platforms surrounding a single dias that was lit up with a bright ray of light shining down on it.

Behind those raised platforms were a large number of people where all of their robes had either silver or gold trims along its edges.

Incidentally, most of their robes were azure in colour which I have come to learn was the colour for the academic faculty, meaning these people were the professors themselves.

Seated at the very front on the highest chair was a Mahun woman wearing striking ivory coloured robes with a platinum trim around its edges and I instinctively knew this person was the one that stood at the very top of the Academy.

She was wearing what looked more like a priestess’s robes than a mage’s robes with two strips of cloth running down the front of her chest to barely cover her bountiful bosoms while her cleavage and side cleavage was in full view.

That wasn’t even the first thing that caught my attention as I noticed that her eyes seemed to be shining in a golden colour, almost like they were miniature suns being confined in her pupils.

Her legs were also crossed in front of her, showing off the white tights that she wore in full view of everyone around her.

Everyone else was watching me intently and I’m pretty sure I was expected to stand on the dias.

As if to confirm my thoughts, the woman on the highest seat gestured towards me, "Student Aster. Please come stand on the platform."

Ok now... I’m not sure if this was intentional but... Why do I feel like I’m some kind of criminal brought in front of a tribunal to be judged? I didn’t do anything wrong, did I?

This isn’t about me flying without a permit, is it?
