It seems Xi Siyan only owns black down jackets; anyway, she hasn’t seen any other colors.

The three of them exchanged greetings, and An Rui was a bit surprised that Zhou Chengchen was there.

For anyone else, they would have started gossiping, but An Rui is the kind of guy who focuses only on games, unless he bumps into something concrete. Otherwise, he wouldn’t think much of it.

"Should we eat first or shop first? I ate quite a bit while watching the game this morning, so I’m not hungry yet."

Zhou Chengchen and Xi Siyan had just eaten, so they weren’t hungry either, and the three unanimously decided to pick out a gift for An Ge first.

Entering the mall, An Rui seemed to have a plan, heading straight for a large plush toy store. Seeing the vast array of toys inside, he was unsure of what to buy.

Though he’s a good brother, he really doesn’t understand what girls like in this respect. He picked out two toys based on his taste, hesitated a bit, and then turned to ask Zhou Chengchen, "Sister Zhou, any suggestions? Which one?"

Zhou Chengchen was still scanning the toys, and upon hearing An Rui, almost spat out a mouthful of blood.

The two toys An Rui picked were ugly as sin. What was he thinking?

Still, whoever designed these toys was a real oddball.

One was a bear almost half a person’s height, wearing a blue dress with sequins—fine, but it also wore a small orange-red hat. The color combination was downright invigorating.

As for the other, there was nothing wrong with the color, but what on earth was it?

It didn’t look like a dog or a bear, completely unrecognizable.

Zhou Chengchen walked over to An Rui, and said with much exasperation, "Boy, your taste is worrying."

An Rui wasn’t the least bit embarrassed and calmly put the two toys back, glancing at Zhou Chengchen, "Please teach me."

Finally, after inquiring a bit about An Ge’s preferences, Zhou Chengchen chose a big-headed Ali for her.

As the three left the toy store, Zhou Chengchen turned to Xi Siyan, "What are you getting?"

Expecting him to be undecided, Zhou Chengchen was about to offer advice when Xi Siyan said, "A puzzle."

The type of puzzle Xi Siyan had in mind wasn’t a flat one but a model of sorts, which could be assembled into a small house using a series of small parts. The finished model was beautiful, but it was too intricate. Zhou Chengchen decided even with her limited patience; she would never want such a gift.

Considering An Ge’s situation, Zhou Chengchen didn’t mention she was going to the birthday party. But since she was already there, she picked out a lamp for An Ge. At first glance, it was ordinary, but once lit up, the entire room would transform into a starry galaxy.

After buying these items, the three finally felt a bit hungry and found a restaurant to sit down and eat.

Xi Siyan let them order and went off to the washroom.

Though An Rui is a gaming otaku, he still has a gentlemanly demeanor. He handed the menu to Zhou Chengchen, "Ladies first."

Zhou Chengchen didn’t hesitate, took it, and flipped it open, not forgetting to ask, "What do you like to eat?"

"I’m easy."

"And how about him? Do you know?"

Zhou Chengchen was quite familiar with Xi Siyan, but they hadn’t eaten together many times. In the few instances they did, Zhou Chengchen couldn’t discern Xi Siyan’s preference for food. He seemed to eat anything, not picky, but didn’t particularly like anything either.

"He’s not picky, easygoing as well."
