Chapter 360: Chapter 255: Accumulation (Part 2)

"Long time no see!"

Han Ning smiled joyfully and clapped him hard on the back.

Speaking of which, the Dragon Blood Race was the first friendly race he had met since arriving in the Otherworld—aside from Nia’s family, who had already been wiped out, of course.

Qing Fan was, in a way, the second friend he had made from an Alien Race.

"These are the supplies Lord Akatos asked us to deliver to you."

After a few pleasantries, Qing Fan took a heavy package from his companion and dropped it on the ground with a THUD.

"It contains materials for forging Soul Artifacts, supplies for drawing Spiritual Arrays, and some food for the Gray Demon Whale."

"It’s mostly food and Spiritual Materials."

"Thank you so much!"

Han Ning smiled and casually opened one of the bags, revealing a mountain of various supplies piled inside.

Spiritual Crystal Stones of all Attributes, Soul Nourishing Grass, Spiritual Materials of different Attributes... their rarity was in no way inferior to the supplies he had taken from the pouches of Cang Yu and his brother.

Akatos was a Soul Beast at the Monarch Limit, after all. The items he had collected over many years, plus those gathered with the full power of the Dragon Blood Race, were just as impressive as the treasures of an Ancestor Family.

Strictly speaking, with Akatos around, the Dragon Blood Race could be considered the sixth Ancestor Family.

Of course, the price for this exchange was that the humans had to help the Dragon Blood People and their Soul Beasts evacuate as well.

Furthermore, the Dragon Blood Race would also send a group over to study the knowledge of Spiritual Arrays together.

"Welcome, members of the Dragon Blood Race. Please, come inside, have a seat, and get some water."

Just then, Dean Wu arrived with other members of the academy. He gave Qing Fan and his group a warm welcome in fluent Insect Language.

"This is the Dean Wu I told you about, the de facto leader of us humans," Han Ning explained.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you." Qing Fan mimicked human etiquette, extending his hand to shake the hand of the short human before him.

Afterward, the group returned to the main conference room.

Leaving only a crowd of onlookers marveling at the Flying Dragon resting by the entrance.

After they introduced themselves, Han Ning, acting as the intermediary, was the first to speak:

"Qing Fan, we’re currently preparing to relocate our settlement to either the Jade Forest or Night Nether City. If we move to the Jade Forest, will that be a problem for your people?"

After their morning discussion, the academy had come up with a rough relocation plan.

The relatively weaker members—the old, weak, sick, and disabled—would be moved into the Jade Forest. Akatos would be asked to set aside a piece of land specifically for the humans to live on.

The stronger Beast Masters would all move to Night Nether City to conduct research for the great evacuation and focus all their efforts on improving their strength.

Any members living in the Jade Forest, including the Dragon Blood People, who managed to break through to the level of a formal Beast Master—that is, Tier One Spiritual Power—could move to Night Nether City. This would continue until the Gray Demon Whale was fully raised.

Moving everyone to these two locations would, first, guarantee their safety, preventing them from being discovered by passing Insect Masters from the Ancestor Families and avoiding unnecessary trouble.

Second, it would help everyone at the academy rapidly increase their strength.

Han Ning estimated that by the time of the great evacuation, everyone from the academy could break through to become Tier One Beastmasters. This was the advantage granted by the Four Symbols Meditation Technique and humanity’s own inherent Talent.

"I have no problem with that. Of course, all matters within the Jade Forest are ultimately for Lord Akatos to decide."

Qing Fan agreed without any hesitation.

It was just a piece of land. In exchange for the chance for the entire Dragon Blood Race to leave the Insect Continent, Qing Fan was naturally more than happy to agree.

The other Dragon Blood Beastmasters also nodded in agreement after a moment of thought.

They were the leaders of various branches of the Dragon Blood Race. In fact, Qing Fan was considered a junior among them. However, as a direct descendant of the Dragon Blood founder and the son of the current leader, his words carried significant weight.

The last time Han Ning went to the Jade Forest, the Clan Leader of the Dragon Blood Race had been away, fighting a formidable Insect Master Family for some important resources, so he hadn’t met him.

"We’ve compiled the detailed statistics for our Dragon Blood Race. The entire clan has 2,600 people. There are 102 Tier One Beastmasters, who are equivalent to formal Insect Masters, 36 Tier Two Beastmasters, 7 Tier Three Beastmasters, and 2 Tier Four Beastmasters."

"In addition, there are 600 uncontracted juvenile Dragon Species. Among the Dragon Race, there are 522 at the Awakened Level, 421 at the Extraordinary Level, 121 at the War General Level, 20 at the Lord Level, and 6 at the Monarch Level. All of these are wild Soul Beasts without Beast Masters and cannot be taken into a Soul Beast Space. They are all led by Lord Akatos."

"Aside from the Dragon Species, there are just over 10,000 Soul Beasts from various other groups. Among them, 3,021 are at the Awakened Level, 532 are Extraordinary, 6 are Lords, and 1 is a Monarch. On the surface, they are controlled by Lord Akatos, but they have their own Commanders in private. We’ve discussed the evacuation plan with their leaders, and about a third of them are willing to leave with us. This includes 3 Lords and roughly 3,000 Soul Beasts of various strengths," Qing Fan said.

’Damn, the Dragon Blood Race’s strength doesn’t seem to lose out to the Ancestor Families at all. They just lack the unique Solidified Talents and powerful legacies,’ Han Ning thought, secretly astonished.

Meanwhile, upon hearing this, Dean Wu, Teacher Zhou, and the other academy members also had looks of shock on their faces.

Everyone was astonished by the sheer depth of the Dragon Blood Race’s power.

"Have you calculated the size of the Soul Beasts? I’m worried the Gray Demon Whale won’t be able to carry that many." Han Ning frowned slightly.

If it were just humans and the Dragon Blood Race, we wouldn’t have to worry even with over ten thousand people. Our bodies are small, not like other Soul Beasts that are often tens of meters tall.

A normal luxury cruise ship can accommodate several thousand to ten thousand people living and recreating together. The Gray Demon Whale, which is even larger than a cruise ship, can naturally carry that many people.

"We’ve considered it. All uncontracted Soul Beasts will have their bodies sealed by Qingyao and the other Dragon Race elders using Sealing Soul Techniques. Their physical size will be restricted to under two meters. As a price, they will lose their original strength, and their Level will drop to Entry Level."

"Oh? Is that why the other Soul Beasts are unwilling to evacuate with you?" Han Ning’s expression flickered.

"That’s one of the reasons. The most important reason is that the Middle Monarch Level Cangyuan Turtle doesn’t get along with Lord Akatos and refuses to go with us. About a third of the non-Dragon Race Soul Beasts are loyal to it and obey its commands."

Qing Fan continued, "The original master of the Jade Forest was the Cangyuan Turtle’s parent. We Dragon Blood People were latecomers. For a series of reasons, the Cangyuan Turtle’s clan handed over leadership of the Jade Forest to Lord Akatos, which led to the current situation."

"I understand. In that case, there shouldn’t be any major problems."

Han Ning nodded.

"Let me ask one more thing. If those sealed Soul Beasts encounter a sudden situation during the voyage, could they die unexpectedly because their strength is sealed?"

"That’s a possibility. It would depend on how quickly the elders can release the seals."

"The reason they’re willing to have their strength sealed and leave with us is that they believe in the power, prestige, and trustworthiness that Lord Akatos and the elders have built up over many years. So, even if they face accidental death, they are willing to take that risk," Qing Fan smiled, full of confidence.

"Let’s go with that for now. I can’t think of a better solution at the moment."

Due to the limitations of his Spiritual Power Level, Han Ning hadn’t yet unlocked the more advanced functions of his panel.

Perhaps when he reached Tier Four, the panel would be able to help him solve the problem of transporting the Soul Beasts.

However, he couldn’t pin all his hopes on the panel; he had to make his own plans as well.

For the remainder of the time, the two sides discussed the details of the migration plan.

Time waits for no one. The academy planned to start the migration work the very next day, transporting all of humanity’s precision equipment and building materials.

As long as the high-end equipment wasn’t damaged, they could rebuild their home anywhere.

After the meeting ended and the Dragon Blood People had left first, Dean Wu, who was sitting in the main seat, suddenly spoke up:

"Oh, by the way, it’s been almost a month since any new humans have appeared near the academy. I’m worried that others might suddenly appear here in the future. Should we leave some monitoring equipment behind to keep an eye on the area?"
