The Fire Fist King wasn’t able to go any faster since he had been weakened by the zone of oversaturated spiritual energy. So absorbing all of the spiritual energy that was around him at once wasn’t something that he could do.

Instead, he had to slowly absorb it.

Though slowly absorbing it really was the best solution in this situation since it helped him recover his strength at the same time.

After a while, the Fire Fist King finally opened his eyes.

The moment that he did, Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan could feel the hostility that came from him. However, they didn’t panic when this happened and just waited for the Fire Fist King to see what the situation was.

They knew that the Fire Fist King did this because he had been worried that he was surrounded by enemies. He was in this state to make sure that he could scare them into not making a move.

But the moment that he saw that it was Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan, the Fire Fist King did calm down a bit.

Then when he saw Xiao Mu, he raised his guard once more until Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan confirmed that it was fine and Xiao Mu was with them.

Once he was certain of this, the Fire Fist King closed his eyes again to recover even more.

Knowing that Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan were here was enough for him to know that he was safe for the moment. That was why he could focus everything that he had on recovering.

When he finally recovered enough to move, Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan came forward to help him up before Lin Fan said, "We’ll take you to a safe place that we’ve found."

The Fire Fist King didn’t struggle at all, though he did have a look of doubt in his eyes when he heard this.
