Chapter 156: Chapter 156: Multi-Body World 3
’I’ve passed through four cities of the Multi-Eyed Race, and I’ve only seen a single Two-Pupiled Person, equivalent to a Level 2 Wizard.’
Andre sat in a tree, eating some freshly roasted beef.
Beside him lay the corpse of an Ox Beast, somewhat similar to an Earth Barbarian Bull but different.
Unlike an Earth Barbarian Bull, this Ox Beast had two pairs of horns on its head and two tails.
’If Two-Pupiled People exist, then Three-Pupiled People must exist too. If they didn’t, that Two-Pupiled Person would be roaming freely throughout the city.’
Andre recorded the events of the past few days. After noting down his firsthand sighting of the Two-Pupiled Person, he let out a helpless, worried sigh.
The appearance of this Two-Pupiled Person meant the difficulty of conquering this world had just skyrocketed.
’Let’s take it slow. If this world were so easy to conquer, I’d have to worry about its overall Level.’
Andre closed his notes. After dinner, he slept, and on the second day, he continued his journey across the continent.
Half a year later, Andre stood by the sea, his expression grim as he watched the turbulent waves. He then returned to the Morning Sky and continued exploring the world.
,
Three years later, Andre returned to the Deserted Island Group. By this time, the servants left behind by the six of them had transformed it into a stretch of flat land.
Many houses had also been built.
"You’re the last one back!" Karina shouted, watching Andre walk out of the Morning Sky.
Hearing Karina’s words, Andre sighed, then pulled out a Potion and downed it.
"Are you injured?" Rote asked, seeing Andre’s action.
"Not really. Just exhausted."
Andre shook his head and took out his notes.
"Have you all finished exploring?" Andre asked, placing his notes on a stone table crafted by Black Goblins and looking at Piedra, Sander, and the others.
The five of them nodded, each taking out their own notes and placing them on the table. Then, the six of them sat down, looking at one another.
"In the area I was responsible for exploring, I discovered a total of two continents, each with an area of over 10 million square kilometers," Karina said, speaking first.
"I discovered three, with an area of about 15 million square kilometers!" Jessica reported the situation in her exploration area.
"I only have one, but its area is 20 million square kilometers!" Sander reported on the region he was in charge of.
"I only discovered four island groups. Among them are six main islands, each around 2 million square kilometers. The rest are all small islands of a few tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of square kilometers," Rote also reported on the area he explored.
"I only discovered two continents, each one over 24 million square kilometers," Piedra reported on the situation in his exploration area.
After Piedra, Karina, and the others had reported on their respective areas, the five of them turned their gazes to Andre, who had returned last.
"I only discovered three landmasses, and each one is about twenty million square kilometers."
"You only discovered three, but why did you come back so late?" Karina questioned Andre as soon as he finished speaking.
"I spent a year hiding in the Duo-Mu Kingdom, learning their language and knowledge."
Andre said to Karina, sighing after he finished.
"The Duo-Mu Kingdom? You encountered the Multi-Eyed Race?" Piedra asked, hearing Andre’s words and nodding in understanding.
"Yes," Andre nodded, looking at Piedra, Sander, and the others. "Which branch of the Multi-Body Race did you all encounter?"
"I encountered the Multi-Heart Race!" Piedra said.
"I had the Multi-Brain Race," Sander said, looking at Andre. He sighed after speaking.
"What about you three?" Andre asked, looking at Karina and the siblings, Rote and Jessica.
"I didn’t encounter the Multi-Body Race. Instead, I found a type of Magical Beast. They look a bit like Fierce Meteor Elephants, but they’re taller, more aggressive, their bodies are earth-yellow, and they have three pairs of ivory tusks."
"The strongest among them has four pairs of ivory tusks, and its power should be around that of a Level 3 Wizard," Karina said, looking at Andre, Sander, and Piedra as she described the most powerful creature in her assigned area.
"The island groups I was in charge of didn’t have these Giant Elephants. Instead, some unique birds lived there, feeding on the Sea Beasts in the ocean."
"The most powerful among them is a species of Double-winged Giant Eagle!"
"’Double-winged Giant Eagle?’" Andre listened to Rote’s words, a hint of confusion in his eyes.
"The Double-winged Giant Eagle has an upper and lower set of wings. You could also call it a Four-winged Giant Eagle, but the name doesn’t sound as good," Rote said to Andre, then continued to describe the giant eagle.
"Among the Double-winged Giant Eagles, the strongest are at the Level 2 Wizard level. They excel at using Wind and Water Element Witchcraft and would make good War Beasts."
After Rote finished, only Jessica was left.
Jessica then described the most powerful creature she had found.
"In the region I was in charge of, there were many kinds of ferocious beasts. They fought and killed each other daily, growing stronger by devouring the bodies of their opponents. The most powerful is likely the clan of Three-Headed Ferocious Lions, which are skilled in Fire, Wind, and Earth-type Witchcraft."
After Jessica finished speaking, the group had a much clearer understanding of the world they were in.
"So, it seems the Multi-Body Race is the one that rules the interior of this world. But they’re split into different branches based on body parts, scattered across every corner of this world."
Sander’s expression was extremely grim, because this was bad news. Very, very bad news.
"It seems our main focus will be dealing with the Multi-Body Race. During your reconnaissance, did any of you detect the aura of a Morning Star?" Piedra’s expression also grew solemn as he asked the question seriously.
Karina and the two siblings, Rote and Jessica, all shook their heads. Andre shook his head as well.
"The most powerful member of the Multi-Body Race I found was a Three-Pupiled Person. No Morning Star, though."
"For us, this is both good news and bad news."
Hearing Andre’s words, Piedra’s expression became even more grave.
Everyone nodded. They knew what Piedra’s statement meant.
Once their war of conquest began, with the help of the world’s consciousness, the first Morning Star Level powerhouse to emerge would very likely be born among the Multi-Body Race.
At that point, their situation would become dire.
Because no one knew who the world’s consciousness would choose.
