Chapter 173: Chapter 173: Red Sun Great Wizard
As Andre contemplated how to reap the greatest benefits from the giant tree,
Rote and Jessica were both lost in a pleasant daydream, submerged in thoughts of the Potions.
According to their prior calculations, if Andre successfully concocted all the Potions, their families could prosper for a decade.
It was worth noting that their families were Morning Star Clans, each with seven or eight hundred members.
One could only imagine the sheer quantity of Potions required to ensure their clans’ prosperity for a decade.
Meanwhile, aboard Karina’s battleship, she silently stared at the location she had previously recorded.
She wasn’t sure if the Tomb of the Giant Elephant she had discovered would be enough to trade for a sufficient benefit from Andre.
Although she and Andre had already agreed on a price, a sense of worry crept into her heart after witnessing the scene on the Magic Plant Island.
And so, each lost in their own emotions, the four returned to the Expedition Base and began to take inventory of the Magic Plants they had found on the Magic Plant Island.
It took them over a month to finish sorting all the Magic Plants.
"What are you going to do with these Magic Plants?"
Karina asked Andre, her gaze complex as she looked at the mountain-like pile of Magic Plants before them.
"How else would I handle them? I’ll do exactly as we agreed. One-third will be concocted into Potions for Rote and Jessica. The rest, I’ll keep to either sell or use for myself."
"Do you have another idea in mind?"
Andre added, looking at Karina.
Karina glanced around. Once she was certain no one was watching, she handed a Crystal Stone to Andre.
"What’s this?" Andre asked, looking at Karina in confusion.
"You’re probably wondering where I got it. It was sent from the Outer World. The Second Expeditionary Corps projected it into this world via their battleship."
"How has it been so soon? They can already project items here?"
Andre asked, looking at Karina.
"Originally, it was supposed to take another five years. But for some unknown reason, the academy suddenly issued an emergency order for them to accelerate, so they’ve cut the time in half."
"Meaning, including the past six months, there are still three years until they descend upon this world."
Upon hearing this, Andre’s expression began to shift rapidly.
’This is too much of a coincidence. I just brought back the haul from the Magic Plant Island, and the academy issues an emergency order.’
’Telling the Second Expeditionary Corps to accelerate... How does this feel like it’s aimed at me?’
"Do you know the reason for the emergency order?"
Andre looked at Karina. From her words, it seemed she had established contact with the Second Expeditionary Corps.
In response to Andre’s question, Karina simply shook her head.
"I don’t know anything about that!"
"Then who exactly delivered this Crystal Stone to you?"
Andre held the Crystal Stone up to the sun.
But no matter how he examined it, he couldn’t find anything unusual.
"This Crystal Stone is for you, not me. It landed on my Star Realm Battleship as I was returning to the Expedition Base."
Karina said, her gaze toward Andre complex.
"For me?" Andre’s expression changed. He instantly thought of his Grandmaster and his Master. ’Both of them were on the verge of a breakthrough recently. Could something have gone wrong?’
"Yes, for you. Congratulations!" Karina nodded, then turned and walked away.
’Congratulate me? What for?’
Andre sighed, then placed the Crystal Stone against his forehead and infused it with Magic Power. A series of images flooded his mind. He saw a lone figure sitting quietly in mid-air, the boundless earth stretching out beneath them.
’Grandmaster!’ Andre thought, recognizing the figure in the image.
’This must be a recording of Grandmaster’s breakthrough.’
’The academy issued an emergency order just to send me this recording?’
Andre watched in disbelief as Klein’s body rose steadily, higher and higher, until it finally drifted out of the White Sea World.
Then, with a wave of his hand, Klein manifested a massive gray bubble in the Star Realm.
’This is an embryonic world.’
As Andre watched the gray bubble, he felt a sense of familiarity. The gray gas within was unmistakably his Chaos Magic Power.
Klein then blew a breath into the embryonic bubble before him. Immediately, the embryonic world began to shrink, eventually transforming into a tower.
A large bell hung at the very top of the tower, and there were four clock faces on its exterior.
Once the clock tower had fully formed from the embryonic world, Klein released his aura.
As he released his aura, the very space around Klein began to tremble.
Then, countless streams of Silver White Energy emerged from Klein’s body, flowing into the clock tower that had formed from the embryonic world.
The clock tower began to expand, growing clearer and more distinct in the process. When it first formed from the embryonic world, its features had been blurry.
But as Klein continuously infused it with Magic Power, the clock tower grew more and more solid, eventually becoming a tangible entity.
Once the clock tower became real, a crisp chime rang out, and the hands on the clock faces began to turn.
Throughout this process, Klein’s aura grew ever stronger.
Upon reaching its peak, a massive clock face suddenly appeared behind Klein and merged with the clock tower.
Next, Klein’s Soul emerged from his body. Under the influence of the clock’s hour hand, it gradually transformed from a full moon into a radiant sun.
With that, Klein officially became a Red Sun Great Wizard.
The moment Klein became a Red Sun Great Wizard, the clock tower instantly disintegrated, turning into endless ash that scattered into the Star Realm.
After becoming a Red Sun Great Wizard, Klein turned his head and glanced in a particular direction.
He was looking directly toward the location of Andre’s expedition.
’Congratulations on your successful breakthrough, Grandmaster.’
Andre thought, watching the image of Klein. He had just seen the image of Klein’s eyes move.
’This means Grandmaster Klein is using Witchcraft to speak with me, with this Crystal Stone as the medium.’
"Your progress has been swift," the image of Klein said, his voice echoing in Andre’s mind.
"After arriving in the Otherworld, I came across some of this world’s unique resources and had a few unexpected gains."
"Grandmaster, does this mean your breakthrough is complete?"
A slight smile touched Andre’s lips. He then changed the subject, inquiring about Klein’s condition.
Klein nodded.
"I walk the Path of Time. I had already completed my breakthrough by the time you received this Crystal Stone."
"The Path of Time," Andre breathed, his eyes wide. In terms of difficulty, that path was in no way inferior to his own Path of Chaos Truth.
"Don’t be too surprised. The path I walk is only a portion of the Path of Time. It pertains to the past and is called ’History’."
Klein smiled and waved his hand dismissively at Andre’s surprised expression.
"While you are in that Otherworld, do your best to collect items related to its history. I have a use for them."
Klein then gave Andre a mission.
"Yes, I’ll do my best to collect them, Grandmaster. What about my Master...?"
Andre nodded, about to ask about Radak’s situation.
But before he could finish his question, the image vanished. The Crystal Stone in Andre’s hand then shattered, turning to dust.
