The lizardman raised a stone shield to block, but it, along with his head, was bitten to pieces, splattering blood and flesh everywhere.
The vertical eye on the right focused on a lizardman elder casting spells in the distance.
A Water Arrow shot out from the elder’s palm, its speed astonishing, yet under the watch of the vertical eye, it was entirely visible.
Andre’s tail swept across, the Bone Blade cleaving the Water Arrow in two and, without losing momentum, it sliced the elder in half at the waist.
Three faces, three types of attacks, executed simultaneously without interference.
Duke lay on the ground, motionless, his breathing minimized to the least possible.
He watched Andre slaughtering through the lizardman horde, swiftly assessing this person’s strength in his mind.
Fourth place in the Illusion Tower, indeed quite powerful, also an exceptional Bloodline Mage.
The two Wizards from the Seville Empire also moved.
Their fighting style was completely different from Andre’s; no raging bloodlines and terrifying physical forms, only precision mechanical prowess.
One of them raised his right arm, the forearm’s skin splitting open, revealing silver-white metal bones inside.
Those metals shimmered with cold brilliance in the sun, each engraved with dense runes.
He spread his fingers, from which five slender Metal Wires shot out, each connected to a thumb-sized Crystal in the palm.
The Crystals glowed, and the Metal Wires moved through the air like living things, soundlessly entwining a lizardman warrior’s limbs.
Before the warrior could react, the Metal Wires tightened abruptly, slicing it into several pieces.
The cuts were smooth as a mirror, not even allowing blood to spray out.
The combat style of the other Mechanical Wizard was even more brutal.
His hands came together, ten fingertips simultaneously ejecting sharp metal blades, blue arcs of electricity dancing along them.
He charged into the lizardman crowd, swinging his arms, each swing creating a blaze of electricity.
The arcs hit the lizardmen, blasting their scale armor apart, charring flesh, their screams resounding endlessly.
Their coordination was seamless, one orchestrating from range and the other harvesting in melee, shredding the lizardmen’s formations to pieces.
But those eight Level 2 Lizardmen were no easy prey.
The leader steadied the line, raised a trident, and emerald green light exploded from its tip, transforming into a water barrier that repelled Andre.
The remaining seven Level 2 Lizardmen seized the opportunity to gather, forming a circle and simultaneously raising their Bone Staffs.
Seven water columns rose from the ground, converging in the air to form a gigantic water python, lunging toward Andre.
Andre stepped back half a step, his wings suddenly spread wide, scattering the water python.
But more water columns surged from the earth, one water python after another continuously assaulting, binding him in place.
The two Mechanical Wizards were also entangled by lizardman warriors, dozens of Level 1 Lizardmen rushed fearlessly, using their bodies to withstand attacks and buy time for their companions.
The battle was at a standstill.
On the desert flats, the shouts of battle thundered.
Water splashed, arcs of electricity danced wildly, staining the ground with blood.
And deep beneath, a stream of dark gold sand quietly lurked, like a snake waiting for the right moment.
Andre’s patience was worn out.
He shook his wings fiercely, shattering the water python fragments entwined around him into a mist of water.
His form rose powerfully, flipping in mid-air, his claws aimed downward, crashing toward the ground like a meteor.
At the impact point, two Level 2 Lizardmen stood back-to-back in defense, their Bone Staffs gathered a green Water Shield.
Boom—!!
The ground exploded into a deep pit, stones and water spray everywhere.
Those two lizardmen didn’t even have time to scream before Andre’s claws pierced through their chests simultaneously.
The claws entered through their chests, exiting out back, with shattered internal organs hanging on the claw tips.
Andre shook his arms, tossing the two corpses into the air, the massive mouth on his left snapped open, biting one of the bodies’ heads, a crunching sound, chewing through skull and brain.
Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth, his expression unchanged, as if he just accomplished an insignificant task.
The vertical eye on the right never stopped spinning, locked onto another fleeing Level 2 Lizardman.
Andre’s tail, like a living thing, snapped against the ground, the bone blade at its tip shooting out, transforming into a dark red stream of light, severing that lizardman’s head entirely.
The headless corpse ran a few more steps forward before crashing to the ground.
Two Level 2s, killed in an instant.
Those two Mechanical Wizards also completed their kills.
The wizard controlling the metal wires twitched his fingers, weaving five strands into a tight net in the air, enveloping a Level 2 Lizardman attempting to cast a water screen.
The net tightened, slicing the Lizardman’s scale armor like paper, cutting him into dozens of neat chunks of flesh, scattering all over the ground.
The blood hadn’t even had the chance to spurt before being vaporized into a blood mist by the energy pulsing along the wires.
The other Mechanical Wizard crossed his arms, and the arcs of electricity on the ten metal blades surged, transforming into two thick thunder serpents that cleaved a Level 2 Lizardman casting a spell from head to toe.
Charred chunks of flesh scattered across the ground, the air thick with a pungent burnt smell.
Of the eight Level 2 Lizardmen, only four remained in the blink of an eye.
The remaining four Lizardmen and their leader quickly retreated, forming a defensive circle, back to back.
Their eyes were filled with fear, the fierce momentum they had before completely vanished.
The Level 1 Lizardmen were even more frightened, scattering in all directions; some jumped into the pool, others hid in the stone house, and some simply lay on the ground trembling.
But the leader was different, it did not flee.
Standing among the four tribesmen, its body trembled, not with fear.
The leader raised its head, its emerald green eyes burning with a sort of frenzied light.
It stabbed the trident into the ground, pressing its hands against its chest, a deep, bone-crushing sound emerging from its throat.
The air around began to vibrate.
The leader’s scale armor started to fall off, not in pieces, but exploding in large sections, revealing crimson flesh beneath.
The blood flesh squirmed and swelled in the air, growing new scales at a visible speed, not dark green but dark red, like coagulated blood.
Its body expanded, leaping from two meters to three meters, four meters, five meters.
Its claws became thicker and longer, the tips gleamed with a ghostly blue cold light, its tail grew sturdier, the bone spurs at the tip more than doubled in length.
The leader’s eyes changed too, the emerald green completely consumed by blood red, leaving only two burning flames.
It opened its mouth, fangs curling outward, saliva mixed with blood dripping to the ground, creating pits that emitted white smoke.
It pulled out the trident, the emerald light on the shaft replaced by dark red, the light flickering like a living thing, exuding a nauseating scent.
Berserk, power gained by burning its essence.
Duke sensed that aura from underground, his pupils slightly contracting.
The aura the leader now emitted was infinitely close to Level 3.
Though only temporary, in this state, a single strike from it could severely wound any Level 2 mage.
Andre’s steps came to a halt.
He hovered in mid air, his wings gently flapping, all three faces staring at the berserk leader.
The face on the left ceased its roar, the vertical eye on the right stopped moving, the scarlet vertical pupil on the front slightly contracting.
He felt threatened.
The leader moved.
Instead of charging at Andre, it swung the trident across, a dark red arc of light shooting from the tip, forcing those two Mechanical Wizards back.
Then it turned abruptly, rushing towards Andre.
Its speed was incredible, each step leaving a deep pit on the ground, stones scattering everywhere.
Andre flapped his wings, trying to create distance.
But the leader was faster, the trident whistling through the air, thrusting towards his chest.
Andre crossed his claws in defense.
Boom——!!
He was blown back several dozen meters, the scales on his claws cracking, blood dripping through his fingers.
Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, quickly licked clean by the left face.
The leader didn’t give him a chance to breathe, charging again, the trident transforming into numerous dark red shadows, enveloping Andre.
