Duke’s gaze swept across the audience, taking in everyone’s expressions.

Some frowned, some nodded, some remained expressionless, while others began to exchange whispered opinions with those nearby.

"The purpose of doing this is so each region has partners deeply rooted in the local market."

He didn’t state the latter part, which would allow mutual checks and balances, preventing anyone from easily breaching contracts.

The map on the wall began to show regional markings.

The Appalachian Continent was divided into two, the West Coast and the East Coast.

On the map for the West Coast, the names "Black Sail" and "Giant Rock Commerce Association" were already marked.

Some in the audience whispered.
