Wizard: Starting from the Skill Tree
Chapter 880 - 782: Regional Authorization Cooperation (Part 2)The Duke previously had some cooperation with the Star Dome Commerce Association, and they had already reached a consensus between them.
Someone in the audience couldn’t hold back.
"The East Coast offers four regions to the Star Dome Commerce Association, three cities to the Thorn Holy Tower. What about us? What about the native commerce associations of the Seville Empire?"
The Duke glanced at the person, his tone indifferent.
"If the native commerce associations of the Seville Empire are interested, they can negotiate cooperation with the Star Dome Commerce Association or the Thorn Holy Tower. I’m authorized to grant solely to these two, no further direct authorization will be given."
The person opened their mouth, intending to say something, but eventually held back.
The map on the curtain wall switched to the Golden Continent.
This continent’s area is slightly smaller than Appalachia, but its commercial development far surpasses.
On the map, the Golden Continent was divided into five regions.
The core area consisted of several cities where the Blood Gold Clan resided, marked blankly.
Someone whispered below: "No representatives from the Blood Gold Clan? Heard there’s a grudge between Audric and the Duke. The Blood Gold Clan can’t swallow their pride to seek cooperation."
The Duke ignored the murmurs and was about to speak when a clear voice rose from the audience.
"Duke, the remaining areas of the Golden Continent, the Brian Family is willing to take them all."
Every gaze turned to the origin of the voice.
A young woman sat in the front row, on the right side.
She appeared in her early twenties, with silver-white hair cascading to her waist, shimmering slightly under the light.
Her face was as exquisite as porcelain, with an inherent nobility in her brows and eyes, accompanied by a faint smile at the corner of her mouth.
She wore a silver-white gown that was tailored to accentuate her graceful figure.
A badge was pinned to her chest: silver wings, with a burning longsword at the center.
The Brian Family. Silver Radiance Angel Bloodline.
A low murmur arose again from the audience.
"Brian Family? The family that emerged rapidly over two thousand years despite suppression from the Blood Gold Clan?"
"Silver Radiance Angel Bloodline, it’s said upon awakening bloodline power, light wings grow, and their combat power far exceeds the same tier bloodline mages."
"Heard the younger generation of their family, a girl under thirty, has already advanced to Level 3. That’s her, right?"
The girl stood, slightly bowing, her action graceful and natural.
"Brian Family, Annabelle Brian." Her voice was clear, carrying a compelling amiability.
"Although the Brian Family doesn’t have the long history like the Blood Gold Clan, our business channels and connections on the Golden Continent are sufficient to cover all cities outside Blood Gold Clan’s control. We have confidence in selling automatic meditation magic potions to every corner of the Golden Continent."
The Duke looked at her, remaining silent for a few moments.
He remembered this name; when the ranking for the Illusion Tower was released, the Brian Family had sent him an invitation, hoping he would join under their banner.
The Duke had gracefully declined, as he didn’t wish to involve himself in any conflict of powers back then.
Now it appears the Brian Family hadn’t harbored any hostility from that graceful refusal.
After Annabelle spoke, no others rose to compete, or perhaps none dared.
Because it’s widely known the Blood Gold Clan always regarded the Golden Continent as their territory, thus deeply resented external powers meddling.
None of these diverse powers wished to provoke the Blood Gold Clan, hence their initial focus wasn’t even on the Golden Continent. None wished to stir up trouble unnecessarily.
Not everyone is the Brian Family, possessing the guts to challenge the Blood Gold Clan head-on.
"The Brian Family’s capabilities, I trust." The Duke said, "The other four regions of the Golden Continent, authorized to the Brian Family. Specific terms will be discussed later."
Annabelle smiled slightly, settling back into her seat.
Her gaze lingered for a moment more on the Duke before moving away.
The map on the curtain wall switched to the Scavvy Continent. This continent’s size is the smallest of the four continents, yet its power landscape is the most complex.
No empire or family dominates; rather dozens of medium and small organizations divide territories.
On the map, the Scavvy Continent was divided into seven regions, each corresponding to densely populated city clusters of powers.
The Duke designated no single entity and left the choice to the audience.
"For the seven regions of Scavvy Continent, interested powers please raise your hand and respectively introduce your advantages."
Immediately, seven or eight individuals raised their hands below.
Some were from large local commerce associations, others from historically illustrious wizard organizations, some even representing a city alliance.
They spoke one after another, some emphasizing channel coverage, others price advantages, and some their relations with local forces.
The Duke listened, occasionally nodding, occasionally inquiring a few questions.
Ultimately, the seven regions were respectively authorized to seven different powers.
It wasn’t his intent to unify authorization, but the Scavvy Continent’s configuration decided that no single entity can consume the entire continent.
The map on the curtain wall shifted to the Central Islands.
This region, floating at the ocean’s central, is the core zone of the entire Wizard Plane.
Commerce is prosperous, population dense, and the wizard ratio is highest.
On the map, the Central Islands was divided into a singular region.
The Duke didn’t speak up, as the Arcane Master Association representative stood from the audience.
"For the authorization of Central Islands, the Arcane Master Association is willing to undertake." His voice wasn’t loud but carried significant weight, "The Arcane Master Association possesses the most comprehensive logistics system and credibility assurance across the Plane. In the Central Islands, no partner more fitting."
No objections arose from the floor.
With the Arcane Master Association standing forth, none would compete; this represents an entity truly daunting to challenge.
Behind the Arcane Master Association lies the Six-Ring Tower, Wizard Council, an absolute ruling power within the Wizard Plane.
The Duke nodded, "Central Islands, authorized to the Arcane Master Association."
The map on the curtain wall finally switched to the Florence Continent.
This continent appeared particularly barren on the map, with merely a few city markers.
Some in the audience glanced at it, then shifted their gaze.
Florence Continent, the most barren continent in the Wizard Plane, scarce in wizards, commercially backward with no market.
The Duke’s gaze settled on that continent, silent for a moment.
"Florence Continent, authorized to Giant Rock Commerce Association."
Harrison hadn’t despised its barrenness; they had actually long begun some business exchanges there, though such transactions surely wouldn’t catch the eyes of those present.
He knew the Duke wasn’t simply bestowing an unworthy slice, but rather granting an opportunity.
Florence Continent indeed has no market now, but someday, that continent will need automatic meditation magic potions.
And then, Giant Rock Commerce Association will be the sole supplier.
The Duke completed the distribution of authorizations across all regions and stood up.
"Today’s negotiation meeting ends here; for specific terms, I request partners of each region to stay as we consult one by one."
Few in the audience departed.
Those granted exclusive regional authorization naturally stayed, while those without, such as the local commerce associations failing to compete against the Star Dome Commerce Association on the East Coast, the bloodline family representatives overshadowed by the Brian Family on Golden Continent, and those only obtaining small regions on Scavvy Continent didn’t leave either.
They may not obtain exclusive regions, yet they can secure distribution authorization.
This term the Duke heard from the Arcane Master Association personnel, meaning they can acquire goods from the exclusive authorized regional representatives, to sell within their own channels, without direct liaison with the Duke.
Authorization fees are paid to the exclusive authorized regional parties, the Duke only takes a cut from the final sales revenue.
This ensures maximum channel coverage, without the Duke needing to manage hundreds of distributors himself.
The Duke entrusted this matter to each exclusive authorized regional representative to negotiate, only setting a baseline.
Regardless of the distribution approach, his cut percentage remains unaltered.
As for how the exclusive authorized regional party and distributors split gains, it’s their affair.
