The team passed through the city gate, walked approximately a kilometer along a dirt road, and stopped at an open flat area.

Here, not far from Stone Hammer City, the outline of the city walls could be seen, surrounded by empty grasslands and sparse forests in the distance.

The view was unobstructed; if anyone approached, they could be seen at a glance.

The Knights began to set up camp; some erected tents, some dug trenches, some arranged sentries.

The Mages set up simple warning Magic Arrays around the camp, while the Warriors led the horses to designated areas to feed them hay.

Everything proceeded in an orderly manner, but the air carried a stifling atmosphere.

Everyone knew that in three days, there would be a showdown that would decide their fate.

If they won, the Light Sect could establish itself in Stone Hammer City. If they lost, they would have to leave in defeat.

All they could do was wait in the camp, wait for the young man in the white robe to make his move.

Dali stood at the edge of the camp, looking at the distant outline of Stone Hammer City, where her golden hair shimmered faintly with a golden hue in the twilight.

"Dali." A voice came from behind.

Dali turned around, bowing slightly, "Lord Duke."

Her movements were respectful and natural, with golden hair slipping from her shoulder, glinting faintly in the twilight.

Dali looked at Duke, her azure eyes clear and pure, possessing the calmness that only devotees have in front of their god.

"Are you worried?"

Duke walked to her side, standing shoulder to shoulder, also gazing at Stone Hammer City in the distance.

"Lord Duke, the Four Gods Sect will certainly send their strongest Magic Master to compete, perhaps even a Great Mage." Dali’s voice was soft, but there was no fear in her tone, merely stating a fact, "I know you are confident, but I can’t help but pray for you."

"There’s no need to worry. No matter who they send, the victor will only be us. Moreover, they don’t know who we’ll mobilize, likely believing it to be Knight Henry, and thus won’t dispatch a Great Mage to compete."

The Great Mage is the final power of the Four Gods Sect, also the strongest force in the Oracle Plane, classified as Level 3 Life.

For the Four Gods Sect, unless it reaches a moment of life and death, they won’t deploy the Great Mage.

These Great Mages are all elderly, and a casual action would hasten their path to death.

What they need is to live as long as possible; living is a deterrent.

But actually, engaging in combat is not a decision that can be easily made.

So, when it comes to disputes over territories like Stone Hammer City, they wouldn’t easily dispatch a Great Mage to compete.

From the apparent side, the Light Sect can send Knight Henry to compete.

Regarding Duke, the information they’ve recently gathered is very limited, only knowing that he is an extremely mysterious Mage, owning a Magic Potion Shop in Azure Vault City, and having connections with those Blessed Ones of Star Embers.

Beyond that, they know very little.

Because Duke has not exposed much in this Plane, he used to come and go quickly, interacting with few people, leaving the Four Gods Sect with little valuable intelligence.

...

The three days quietly passed amid tense preparation and awaiting.

At dawn, as the day gradually brightened, Duke stepped out of his tent.

The camp was already bustling; Knights were polishing their armor and Longswords, Mages were inspecting their Magic Wands and Crystal Stones, Warriors were organizing their bows and shields.

No one spoke, only the sound of metal clashing and occasional hoofbeats filled the air.

A tense atmosphere lingered, like the calm before a storm.

Duke stood at the edge of the camp, gazing into the distance at Stone Hammer City.

The city walls glowed grey-white in the early light, and the towers of four Divine Halls under construction were faintly visible.

He withdrew his gaze and turned to walk toward the center of the camp.

Dali stood there, her golden hair gently ruffling in the morning breeze, her white robe glinting with soft light under the sun.

She stood there quietly, like a sacred statue.

"Lord Duke." She bowed slightly.

Duke nodded, "Let’s go."

The team set forth, Knights riding on horseback, armor gleaming with a cold light in the dawn. Mages on horseback, their Magic Wands slung behind them. Warriors rode with bows attached to the saddles.

Two hundred people advanced along the dirt road toward Stone Hammer City.

Hooves thudded against the soft soil, producing muffled sounds.

A substantial crowd had already gathered on the open ground outside the city.

The Four Gods Sect had come earlier; the Wind, Water, Fire, and Earth sects occupied each position, their flags fluttering in the morning breeze.

The four-color banners rustled in the wind, forming a semicircle around the open ground.

The center of the open ground was a flat area of grass, with no obstructions on any side, offering a wide view.

This was the site chosen by the Four Gods Sect for the confrontation, a natural open field.

Remnants of grass roots and wildflowers could still be seen on the ground, and the air was filled with the scent of grass and dirt.

The Light Sect’s team stopped at one side of the open ground.

Dali stood in the forefront, with a silver crown casting a slight shadow on her forehead, golden hair gently wavering in the morning breeze.

Duke stood slightly behind her position, his white robes edged in gold softly reflecting under the sunlight.

A person stepped out from the Fire Sect’s ranks.

He was burly, dressed in a scarlet robe with embroidered golden flame patterns at the hem, and bore a silver torch emblem on his chest.
