The moisture in the air rapidly gathered, forming dozens of crystalline ice spikes at the tip of her magic wand, each as thick as a finger, with tips sharp as needles.
With a wave of her wand, the ice spikes poured toward Duke like a torrential downpour, covering all possible directions he could dodge.
This time, Duke did not take it head-on, not because he would be injured, but because he would be slowed down.
He took a deep breath, and his body suddenly became ethereal, the degree of semi-light elementalization deepening.
His figure disappeared from his original position, appearing a dozen meters to the right just before the ice spikes fell.
The ice spikes pierced the spot where he had just stood, leaving dense tiny holes in the grass, ice crystals splattered everywhere.
The middle-aged witch’s expression changed slightly; she hadn’t even seen how Duke moved.
The elder of the Earth Sect had not made a move; he was waiting, waiting for Duke to come closer, waiting for his companions to wear down Duke’s speed, waiting for an opportunity to strike once and for all.
Duke glanced at him from the corner of his eye and paid him no attention.
He knew the elder was waiting, but what the elder didn’t know was that he was also waiting, waiting for the elder to attack so he could see the power of Level 2 Earth Spell.
If Duke wanted to resolve this with the four of them, it would be a mere thought; he was merely observing and studying at the moment.
The Magic Master of the Fire Sect cast another spell.
This time, he didn’t release a fireball but summoned a fire wall, which rose up in front of Duke, stretching between him and the four Magic Masters.
The intensity of the fire wall far exceeded the previous fireball, and the heat wave rushed in, scorching the grass yellow.
Duke paused for a moment, then rushed into the fire wall without any hesitation.
The flames licked his body, the high temperatures searing his skin, but he just frowned slightly.
The Tier Three fire resistance of the Elemental Holy Body made him pass through the fire wall as if there was no one there, only his clothes were burnt, but in his semi-elementalized state, outsiders could only see a figure covered in white light.
He dashed out from the other side of the fire wall, unharmed.
The Magic Master of the Fire Sect finally panicked, retreating several steps, frantically waving his wand, causing flames to form a rotating flame barrier around him in an attempt to stop Duke from approaching.
But Duke’s target wasn’t him; he abruptly changed direction in front of the flame barrier, his body tracing an arc in mid-air, pouncing towards the slender middle-aged man of the Wind Sect.
The slender middle-aged man’s reaction was quick; with a wave of his wand, a green airflow lifted his body, drifting backwards, while another hand threw three wind blades, blocking Duke’s path.
This time, Duke didn’t dodge; he reached out his right hand, spreading his fingers wide, directly grabbing one of the wind blades.
The wind blade exploded in his palm, the air current slicing his skin, leaving a shallow white scar.
Duke’s fingers clenched, crushing the remaining Wind Element.
His body continued to surge forward, moving too fast for the slender middle-aged man to cast another spell.
Duke punched forward, carrying the Fighting Spirit of the Light Divine Breathing Technique along with his physical power.
The fist rushed towards the slender middle-aged man’s chest with a sound of breaking the wind, the slender middle-aged man barely blocked with his wand, which bent and broke under Duke’s fist, sending the slender middle-aged man’s body flying backwards like a kite with a broken string, landing on the grass over a dozen meters away, leaving a long streak.
The Magic Master of the Fire Sect and the middle-aged witch of the Water Sect both cried out in shock.
The elder of the Earth Sect finally moved.
He struck the ground with his wand, causing the ground to crack, several sturdy rock spikes burst out from beneath Duke’s feet, sharp as spears, stabbing at his body from multiple angles simultaneously.
Duke didn’t dodge; he lifted his right foot and stamped it onto the ground.
With a boom, the ground trembled, and the rock spikes that had just surfaced shattered, spraying debris everywhere.
The elder’s face finally changed; despite all his years of casting spells, he had never seen someone break through his rock spikes like this.
So simple and crude, crushing all rock spikes with one stomp.
The rock that had been reinforced by spells couldn’t even withstand a single stomp from Duke.
Duke did not continue to pursue; he stood in place, silently evaluating.
Four Magic Masters, each had cast two to three Level 2 spells.
The power of those spells was indeed a bit weaker than Level 2 Elemental Magic on the Wizard Plane.
The problem wasn’t with the energy, but with the structure.
Curse Magic spells cast fast, but lacked refinement, resulting in low energy utilization, with much energy wasted during the casting process.
If these were the many powerful Level 2 spells of the Wizard Plane, he wouldn’t dare to arrogantly take them head-on with his body.
Moreover, many Level 2 spells possess strengths that even a Level 3 life must avoid, not to be touched rashly.
But these Curse Magic spells, when struck against the Tier Three Elemental Holy Body, were like stones hitting steel, at most causing some pain, but no injury.
Duke retracted his thoughts, delaying no longer.
His figure became ethereal once again, bursting in front of the middle-aged witch of the Water Sect while the four Magic Masters were still in astonishment.
She instinctively raised her wand, but Duke’s fist was already landing on her abdomen.
Not a hard hit, just a gentle touch, but that force still made her bend over, retching and retreating, her wand slipping from her hand, her face pale.
The Magic Master of the Fire Sect turned to run, but Duke caught up from behind, striking the back of his neck with a palm.
His body staggered forward several steps, collapsing to the ground, supporting himself with both hands, gasping for breath.
The elder of the Earth Sect stood still, holding his wand but not casting a spell.
He looked at Duke, into those calm eyes, silent for a long while before slowly lowering his wand.
The battle was over.
From beginning to end, it was all over in just a few minutes.
Four Level 2 Magic Masters, bombardment from four elemental spells, failing to harm Duke in the slightest.
And with just a few punches, Duke had defeated them all.
The open ground fell deathly silent, the onlookers gaping.
When Duke turned and walked into the camp of the Light Sect, everyone automatically cleared a path.
The Knights lowered their heads, the Mages lowered their wands, the Warriors knelt on one knee.
They had just witnessed their Child of Light single-handedly defeating the four Magic Masters of the Four Gods Sect, with only reverence in their hearts, no other thoughts.
Dali approached, her pace quicker than usual.
She stopped in front of Duke, slightly bowed: "Lord Duke."
Then Dali noticed that although the thin membrane of light elemental particles covered Duke’s body, it couldn’t hide the outline.
Duke had already returned to his physical form, only using Light Elemental Energy Particles to cover some important parts.
Dali noticed Duke’s almost perfect body with not an ounce of excess flesh, the muscle lines distinctly extending down into the white glow.
Her face flushed red, from neck to ear tips, even her eyelashes slightly trembling.
"Holy Daughter?" Duke’s voice came from within the glow, as calm as though nothing had happened.
Dali snapped back to reality, taking a deep breath, suppressing the flutter in her chest.
She turned around, spoke a few words to a nearby female mage.
The female mage nodded and quickly ran towards the back of the camp.
A moment later, she returned with a neatly folded set of robes.
White, gold-trimmed, with a sun pattern, identical to the ones Duke wore before.
Dali took the robes, turning to Duke.
Her hands were trembling slightly, the robes trembling lightly in her grip.
Dali kept her head down, not daring to look at Duke: "Lord Duke, your clothes."
Duke reached out and took the robes, his fingers brushing over Dali’s fingertips, cool and firm to the touch.
Dali’s fingers retracted sharply as if scalded, her face turning even redder.
Duke waved his hand, a flash of light over his body, and he had donned the new robe, the white hem gently billowing in the morning breeze, the golden sun pattern shining brightly in the sunlight.
By the time Dali came to her senses and raised her head for a look, she was caught off guard, unable to resist looking at Duke for a while longer.
Duke’s hair was still a bit disheveled, his face carrying a few scorch marks, but those eyes remained as calm as a deep pool.
He stood there like a sword freshly wiped of bloodstains, returned to its sheath.
