An hour later, Leon finally packed the scrolls and equipment into his storage ring. Suddenly, he thought of something and smacked his forehead.

’Ugh, why didn’t I think of that earlier? Now I’m just wasting her time.’

He hurried up to the second floor of the villa, then headed to the room where Fel and Cassie were undergoing their evolutions. He knocked on the door, then waited until Marie came to open it.

"Leon?" She looked surprised upon seeing him.

Leon felt a flash of confusion as to when she stopped calling him Boss and changed to his name. However, he didn’t really care.

With an apologetic smile, he said, "Sorry I made you stay up this late. I didn’t consider that you’d be tired and need rest. You should go to bed now. After all, you’ll be leading the hunt tomorrow again."

"Oh," Marie blinked, then shook her head. "It’s fine, though. I’m not that tired, and an hour nap should be enough."

What she said was indeed true, as evolvers didn’t tire as quickly as normal humans. Still, Leon wasn’t convinced.

"You should go rest, Marie. You’ve done enough already. Thank you."

The auburn-haired woman didn’t budge. "I told you, Leon. It’s fi—"

"That’s an order," He interrupted coldly, then softened his tone with a sigh. "You should rest, Marie."

She fell silent, then reluctantly nodded. "Alright. Goodnight, then."

She stepped out of the room, then walked down the hallway to her own room where Nora was sleeping.

Leon felt a twinge of discomfort at his earlier harshness, but sighed and dismissed the emotion. He couldn’t always be soft around these people.

Although he might have started to consider them friends, their primary relationship was still that of a leader and his subordinates.

He stepped inside the room and closed the door behind him.

Fel and Cassie lay on the large bed in the room, their eyes closed. The two young women were unconscious, and Leon could sense the mana around them reacting to their evolution.

Leon took a seat on the chair by the bedside, trying to ignore the lingering guilt he felt over his harshness toward Marie.

’I still wish the world could revert to what it used to be. Now, I have too many things to think about. And every day, I keep worrying about Clara. Haa... I’m so tired.’

He leaned back into the chair, staring blankly at the wall before him. His thoughts drifted back to Henry’s memories, and he decided to pass time by reading the man’s experiences properly.

Seventeen hours later, he stopped what he was doing and looked towards the bed. The sunlight filtering through the windows made him blink a few times before he could see clearly.

’She’s done,’ He thought, noticing Cassie’s eyelids trembling. She opened her sharp blue eyes, silently staring at the ceiling for a few seconds.

Then, she slowly turned her head towards Leon. "Boss."

Her voice sounded dry, so Leon immediately got her a glass of water to drink.

She sat at the edge of the bed and drank the water. Then, she set the cup down and spoke properly.

"Thank you."

Leon nodded, adjusting the chair so he could sit directly in front of her. Their eyes met for a few seconds, then Leon said, "Congratulations."

Cassie merely nodded, distracted by the Star Stream messages appearing before her. Leon didn’t interrupt, merely watching her quietly.

A few things had changed about her, and she probably hadn’t noticed yet. The tip of her hair had turned electric blue, and her blue eyes were almost glowing now.

Leon didn’t know what caused the changes, but he knew it wasn’t a bad thing. After all, Cassie did indeed look prettier. She could probably rival Gwen in terms of charm now, which was slightly surprising.

’Why am I even thinking about that? I should really try to stop comparing women.’

He shook his head, then noticed Cassie staring at him.

"Well, let’s get straight to the point. What Class options were you given?"

Her gaze shifted from him to something he couldn’t see, and then she answered.

"I got three options. Assassin, Nightwalker, and Daggerist."

Leon’s brows furrowed as he listened, and he couldn’t help but ask himself.

’Is there such a thing as Daggerist? Shouldn’t it be... Daggersman? No, that sounds wrong.’

He shook his head and dismissed the thought.

"Well, what do you think? Tell me your opinion on the options."

Cassie’s gaze shifted back to him, and she answered, "The Assassin Class is easily understandable, and I think the Daggerist Class is related to my use of daggers. Only the Nightwalker Class remains a complete mystery."

Leon nodded, as he was of the same opinion. It was a gamble to choose mysterious classes, as they could turn out to be disappointing.

’If only I had a cheat system that could turn an ordinary assassin into a legendary figure or something. Ugh,’ He complained inwardly, still considering all the options.

In the end, he made a choice and decided to gamble.

"Choose the Nightwalker Class. Let’s see what it has."

Cassie didn’t hesitate and directly chose the class. Her body froze briefly, and it felt like an electric current had just passed through her.

Her eyes slowly widened, and a look of shock appeared on her indifferent face.

"This..."

Leon didn’t hurry to ask any questions, but sighed in relief instead. From her reaction, it was pretty obvious that the skills she received were good.

Leon patiently waited for her to recover from the surprise, then asked, "Care to share now?"

Cassie nodded. "I got three skills. One attack, one movement, and one utility skill."

Leon nodded, urging her to continue.

"The attack skill allows me to stab opponents from a distance as long as it is nighttime."

Leon’s eyes widened, but she wasn’t finished.

"As for the movement skill, I can do short-range teleportation. However, I can only use this skill five times a day."

Leon’s expression turned serious, and he tried to contain his surprise.

"Lastly, "the utility skill passively increases all my stats by 25% as long as it is nighttime."

Leon closed his eyes and said only one word.

"Insane."
