With a sweep of its left foreleg, the bear swatted the mutated monkey aside, sending it crashing several meters away.

Richard and his remaining mutated beasts didn’t pause. Little West and Little East dashed at the bear again, each targeting its front legs.

The mutated grizzly bear swung at them, but they somehow withstood the attacks and bit its legs.

With a coordinated pull, they dragged it to the ground, pinning it for two seconds.

With perfect timing, the mutated raven dived straight down, its beak aimed at the back of the grizzly bear’s neck.

"This..." Leon’s eyes widened slightly, and he couldn’t help but look at the raven in a new light.

Even from a distance, he could feel the sharpness of its black beak. Was that its ability?

Just as Leon expected, he raven’s beak easily destroyed the thick fur and reached its spine and clamped down on the bone.

The mutated grizzly bear froze, then thrashed wildly. Little East and Little West were flung away, crashing into the woods while the bear howled loudly.

Arcs of lightning crawled across its thick fur, striking the mutated raven and forcing it to pull back. Before it could fly to safety, the enraged bear struck.

Its massive paw slammed into the bird, sending it crashing into the canopy of a nearby tree.

Richard’s heart thumped in his chest as he sensed the injuries of three of his mutated beasts.

’This will be incredibly hard,’ He thought, then glanced at the green mamba coiling around his neck.

"Any progress, buddy?"

He asked as he dashed forward along with the mutated monkey to attack the bear. The green mamba hissed, and Richard somehow understood what it was saying.

"Alright!"

The enraged grizzly bear roared as it saw them approaching and swung its claws.

Just before the claws reached him, phantom wings eerily similar to the raven’s wings appeared behind Richard, and he flew into the sky, high above the bear.

It looked up in surprise, allowing the mutated monkey to knock a strong punch into its jaw.

The mutated grizzly bear staggered back, its attention snapping back to the monkey. Before it could attack, though, Richard dropped down from above.

The bear still had lightning on its fur, so he wasn’t careless with it at all. He stopped a few meters above it, then took out a round of bullets from his pocket.

The green mamba swallowed them, then spat them back out. The bullets were now covered in dark liquid that emanated a dangerous aura.

Richard casually put the bullets into the gun, then fired at the bear’s injured neck.

Bang! Bang!

The mutated grizzly bear froze, feeling something cold and foreign enter its body. It turned around to roar at Richard, but froze when it couldn’t.

The beast stumbled forward, then collapsed to the ground, shivering and convulsing.

Richard finally came down from the sky, wiping the remaining venom from his hands. Seeing the bear’s condition, he couldn’t help but pity it.

The mutated green mamba was just too venomous. Even Richard had been poisoned when he tried taming it, and if he hadn’t been successful, he wouldn’t have survived without forcing it to give him the antidote.

The others slowly walked over, observing the bear as it convulsed in pain. Its mouth was already foaming badly, and its eyes had turned hazy.

Leon gave the green mamba a deep look. ’This thing is more dangerous than I thought.’

The grizzly bear’s condition was more than enough proof. Even as a Tier Two beast, it still fell to the venom.

"Go on, kill it," He said, gesturing to Richard.

The young man nodded and pocketed his gun. Then, he walked towards the bear and forcefully stabbed his sword into its left eye, reaching the brain and killing it.

[You have slain a Level 54 Tier Two Mutated Grizzly Bear! +8 Stamina points gained!]

Despite killing a beast that was a whole tier above him, Richard couldn’t level up. The Origin from the kill was shared between him and his tamed beasts, ensuring everyone got a portion.

Leon casually cut out the soul crystal and kept it for himself. Then, he turned to Richard.

"Have your beasts eat it before we leave. Let Fel attend to the injured ones."

The bespectacled guy nodded, then went to get the injured felines and the bird over to the healer.

Fel studied the injuries of the beasts for a while, feeling sympathetic towards them. The mutated cat and the mutated fox both had cracked ribs and broken legs.

Their forte was speed, so tanking the grizzly bear’s attack was bound to put them in this condition.

The mutated raven was even worse, its wings had snapped, and it was half-dead already

Fel didn’t hesitate to activate her strongest skill—Sanctuary of Verdant Life.

The leaves around them glowed brightly, and she could sense the natural mana in the air growing denser. Using the skill, she immediately directed the pure natural mana towards the three beasts and began to heal them.

Bones were rearranged, while torn flesh and tendons knitted themselves back together. In less than five minutes, the injuries had been completely healed.

Fel dropped to her knees, having run out of mana. Unlike Verdant Restoration, this particular skill drained her mana heavily, and she couldn’t control the consumption rate.

Still, she was satisfied when she saw the three beasts get up.

Although they still felt phantom pain from their previous injuries, the beasts could now walk around or fly.

"Thanks, Fel," Richard said, his voice filled with gratitude as he helped her up.

The young lady nodded weakly.

Meanwhile, Leon walked over to Miguel and handed him an ability scroll. This particular one was the main ability he had extracted from Mary, and he wanted Miguel to have it.

"Whoa... Boss, you want to make me into Thor?"

Miguel asked as he read the description, his face lighting up with a grin.

Leon rolled his eyes. "You can think whatever you like. Anyway, I believe you’ll use the ability properly. Don’t disappoint me."

Miguel nodded seriously as the scroll dissolved in his hand.

"Now, off you go," Leon muttered, waving at him dismissively.

"Huh? What do you mean?" The blonde guy asked, confused.

Suddenly, his body tensed, and he slowly turned his head to look behind him.

Another Tier Two mutated grizzly bear was glaring hatefully at their team.

’Crap... they were a couple?!’
